One Darkfriend would perform the kill. They all agree on it (in theory), but only one sends it in. So if someone else was detained the kill would still go through. It's only if the person who sent in the kill was detained/RBed/whatever that it wouldn't happen. Hmm, that's true, although 1 is very unlikely and 2 isn't much better. And yes, because of the missing eliminator kill. There are other explanations, I'm aware, but that is one of them, and thus it makes you more suspicious.
-
Even though I voted for Phatt, I definitely disagree. If he doesn't post by the end of tonight, he'll almost certainly be killed by a Wolfbrother. Lynching him now would be pointless, and since he's completely inactive it wouldn't net us any information. Lynching an inactive is not better than lynching an active villager, if there's been enough discussion about that villager. So, it looks like there are several possibilities with Strawman. 1. He's lying about being blocked. 2. Someone roleblocked him. This would presumably be an eliminator, but as someone pointed out, why not just kill him? (They could be trying to get us to kill him ourselves, but that seems less likely to me.) 3. Elodin was detained. This is certainly possible and even probable. Is it something that "an experienced villager" would do? Maybe not. But if they weren't looking at any other powers but their own, Elodin was a perfect target for the Whitecloak. That's also interesting, because one of the possibilities for why there was no Darkfriend kill was that the killer was detained... I won't vote on him yet because I want to- Well, that just made my post somewhat obsolete. Still won't vote quite yet, but that does make you more suspicious, Elodin. Wait, four ways, Elodin, what's the fourth way? What do you mean by counter claim him? There's no reason there can't be more than one scanner. And if there were, why would that scanner want to claim? Really, in what way is that a good idea?
-
First off, Straw is a claimed scanner that we're already planning to lynch/kill in a couple of cycles just to make sure he's telling the truth, so I think we probably shouldn't lynch him right now. Second, as far as I'm aware there's no inactivity filter in this game. So Phatt could have said nothing in PMs or docs and still be alive today. He could continue to do so for as long as he likes, and the GM will not kill him. (The vigilante Wolfbrother seems likely to given he's the only other person who hasn't posted at all (I think?), though.) Thirdly, I'm going to bed. Hopefully there's another page of discussion in the morning. Already I think we're off to a much slower start than the first day, which worries me. Talk! We just caught a Forsaken! That's basically the most ideal thing that could possibly have happened D1. So take advantage of it, and talk! Poking Phatt for now just to get myself to vote. Vote will be retracted if he posts or there's a lynch candidate who's actually suspicious to me. (Not sure about Elodin at the moment. I want to go over his posts again before I make a final decision on what I think of him.) Also, what do people think about voting for a new Mayor this cycle? Should we stick with Lopen, or rotate it? (I'm personally of the opinion that rotating the position will be more useful and a bit less dangerous if we do happen to elect a Darkfriend. But I'd certainly welcome other opinions on the matter.) Edited to retract vote.

I must say that I immensely enjoyed playing as the Thief this game. Other than that, my thoughts are scattered throughout the various docs. I have regrets, but I think I played as well as I could, and I definitely had a blast. Hope you all enjoy the Thief doc. I'm sure it'll clear up a good deal for you, Wilson.

I meant, the Darkfriends killing the- Wait, no. Got it. Never mind. I'm still tired from my trip, apparently. >.<
-
Of course. Good point. I hope not, because goodbye communications after tomorrow night. Unless there are more than two Dreamwalkers. Which there might be, but I don't want to count on it. EDIT: Also, awesome writeup, Gamma!
-
Oh, just thought of a possibility for Orlok's death - someone might have targeted his Channeller? Gamma, would we be able to tell the difference between a Warder being attacked and a Channeller being attacked but a Warder taking their place?
-
I'm back! For good! Hopefully I'll be more active from now on. Right, so two deaths and a corruption. Not great news, but let's see what we can make of this. Kill on DC - Inactivity kill, obviously, since as far as I remember he didn't post a single time. Unless he talked in PMs? I didn't PM him, so I wouldn't know, but an inactivity kill does seem more likely (well, or someone was feeling kindly towards Wilson. Or both, I suppose.). (Which does narrow the possibilities of who could be a Wolfbrother, but best not to discuss that in thread.) That's a bit unfortunate, in my opinion, given that it was only the first cycle in a LG, so already killing inactives seems a bit harsh. And he even had a valid excuse for his inactivity, I think, although I'm not sure that was actually brought up here. Kill on Orlok - I'm a bit more confused by this one. Orlok certainly wasn't inactive, and I had him down as only very slightly below neutral. I'm not sure what anyone saw in him that made them suspicious enough to kill him already. The nice thing about tonight's Wolfbrother kills is that we know for a fact they weren't eliminator kills. They could have been corrupted now, but those two kills at least were village kills. No Darkfriend kill - This is quite interesting. There are a couple possibilities that I can see: 1. The eliminators have a whitecloak or are in contact with one, and deliberately didn't kill in order to increase suspicion on whoever was blocked. (Rather unlikely, particularly after just losing the Forsaken D1.) 2. The Darkfriends attacked someone made untargetable by Mask of Mirrors. 3. The Darkfriends were blocked by a Spirit weave or by the Whitecloak. It can't have been protection, because that would have been revealed in the writeup. So those are the only options, I think. And #1 is very unlikely. So there's a good chance that we've caught an eliminator, which is great news for us. (If so, the Darkfriends are suffering a terrible run of luck right now.) I agree that it'd be better to wait and tell someone tonight so they can be your contact to the thread, if you are a Whitecloak or a channeller who used Water/Spirit. Just to confirm - Gamma, if a kill is roleblocked, it would not show up in the writeup at all, correct? Couple things from the night: Excellent point, and one which I probably should have thought of. That does decrease the potential for you to be converted a great deal. Um. #1 is a terrible idea for Padan Fain, because he needs every Corrupted to stay alive as long as possible given that his win con is to outnumber everyone and (unless he manages to convert a Wolfbrother) the Corrupted don't even have a team kill to achieve that win con. #2 is valid. #3... I mean. It's a tactic for any eliminator. Not sure why you'd limit it to only conversion mechanics. And really, it's not such a terrible thing for the village, because that kind of thing generates lots of discussion. I know Meta's used that tactic deliberately more than once. Okay, I'll probably be around for a while more (yay), but for the moment that's all I have to say.
-
For once, I don't have much to comment on, so I'll just say my piece about the Corrupted and then be done. I'm going back home today, so after this post I won't be available until 3-4 hours after rollover. After that point, though, I should be back to my normal schedule, which is great. Since the night's started and there's no lynch discussion to keep us going, let's talk about the Corrupted. First off, I disagree vehemently that Padan Fain isn't a problem early game. It's not like Autonomy when he's only tagging people and not actually causing any harm, so you could leave him alone for a while. Padan Fain is converting people. The longer we let him live, the more valuable villagers are converted, and the more information he has, and the harder to get rid of. So, how do we stop him? Two points. One, the easiest way to find Corrupted is looking for changes in behavior. If someone suddenly becomes more active (or less active), that's grounds for suspicion. That kind of thing. Which is fairly obvious, and I'm just pointing it out as something to look for. Second, and my main point. Let's take a brief look at targets. Padan Fain can Corrupt everyone, except the Forsaken (and potentially hidden roles). It's entirely his (or her) choice. So, who is he going to want to corrupt? That's fairly obvious. Wilson. The hands-down best target for conversion right now is Wilson. She's currently the most trusted player, plus an excellent eliminator as well. (Also Meta, me, Lopen, and Maill, to a lesser extent. Couple other people, probably, but in general high-profile trusted players. The nice thing for Padan Fain is that he can see exactly who's trusted through the lynch mechanic.) Barring special circumstances like DC converting HS because they know each other in real life or Maill converting Joe because Joe can catch evil!Maill, Wilson's probably the best choice. And why am I giving Padan Fain ideas? Because I'm turning it into an IKYK. I really don't want to have to go up against an evil Wilson when I can at least try to prevent it. Plus potentially an evil Meta the next night, if that's Fain's choice. That's just a terrifying thought. And I also really don't want to have to lynch Wilson (and other trusted players) in short order because she's likely to have been converted. I'm sure the Darkfriends would be delighted to make us lynch our most cleared and strongest players. So let's not do that. I'm going to be looking very closely at those players I've named when the day starts. So Fain has a choice now: to convert someone who's going to be closely scrutinized and potentially killed eventually, or to convert a player who is less active/trusted, which is less efficient and good news for the village. Brief point about trust - Please don't trust Wilson with your information. Try not to trust anyone, but anyone who's been said to be cleared in thread really shouldn't have information because of their high potential of conversion. Sorry, Wilson, if you wanted to be converted. Does anyone else have any thoughts about the Corrupted? That's all I have for now. When I get back home, hopefully I can participate in suspicions more than general stuff. See you all on the other side of turnover!
-
o.O That's... not what I was expecting. At all. My reads from earlier, as promised (some of these I looked back at the posts, some I did not. You can probably tell the difference.): Maill - Slight trust, based on the thing about being truthful/honest this game. That feels like something he'd do as village. Lopen - No idea. If I had to say one way or the other right now, I'd say village, but that's a really weak read. Orlok - Looking back on his posts, his tone seems neutral, and looking at circumstantial evidence I could go either way. On the one hand, he defends Sart multiple times and then eventually votes on him late in the cycle. He also doesn't want to give the Mayor to high-profile players like Meta/Wilson (who are currently as close to cleared as we can get). (And then he goes and votes for Maill for Mayor, which is kind of odd.) On the other hand, I'm pretty sure he's the one that breaks the tie in Sart's favor, which is a good point for his innocence. So... I'm not sure what to think. I'd lean a bit towards evil if I had to pick, but fairly neutral overall. Sart - Probably a villager, to be honest, given the number of people who piled up on him over time. That said, I do think he was our best choice for a lynch, unfortunately. Or, apparently, the Forsaken! Yay! Straw - Um. A scanner, apparently. I'd guess that he's village, honestly, but I still think we should follow Lopen's plan with him. I personally think Orlok would be the best candidate for a scan tonight, but that's up to him, obviously. Stink - I agree with Lopen here. He seems very much like village!Stink to me. Nyali - Bah. Instinctive trust. I'm going to have to fight against that until she's evil, probably. Isn't that wonderful. Trying to look at her posts objectively, nothing jumps out at me either way. So I'll go with neutral, I guess. Aman - Feels more village to me? That's entirely gut, though, so I'm not all that sure. Although his suspicion of me for unnamed reasons felt more village, I'm fully aware that's something he's capable of coming up with as an eliminator. Rubiks - Mayor-votes on Lopen on gut. Votes on Sheep. This post is a bit interesting in that it's kind of defending Sart. I'm somewhat suspicious of him (partly because of his reasoning for voting on Sheep, partly for his defense of Sart), but I'll leave him alone for the moment as it's his first game and he should have a chance to play for a little while at least before he's brutally lynched/killed. Jaime - Nothing much to say here for the first day and a half. Then in the last twelve hours, she was the second vote on Strawman (after Sart), which is slightly suspicious. But she does give plenty of reasoning, so I'm not reading too much into that. She does defend Sart fairly strongly, which is also suspicious. And, like Orlok, votes Maill with not a ton of reasoning. So slight suspicion here as well, but same reasoning as Rubiks for leaving her alone for the moment. Still keeping an eye on both of them, though. Winter - Very light suspicion, I think. Agrees that Sart is somewhat suspicious, but doesn't vote for him then (and accuses people of bandwagoning on him, thinking there were three votes not two - could be honest mistake, could be slight panic at finding the Forsaken up for the lynch). This post is also interesting to me because it tries to drive some paranoia between Meta and Wilson. Those things combined plus gut says maybe eliminator. Also, minor point, but her stress at the end reminded me a bunch of turnovers in QF15 with Joe. I'd think she'd confine that to the doc if she were an eliminator, but she does a lot of mindgames with things like that, so I don't think that points particularly towards either alignment. Points against that - last-minute vote on Sart feels genuine to me. Irritation at being called inconsistent also feels genuine (although that's not necessarily alignment-indicative, it just shows you don't like being called inconsistent. For which I do not blame you.). Not as strong of an evil read as some above (which are to be fair also fairly weak, I think), but it's there. Meta - soft-confirmed by his vote on Sart. Not quite as much as Wilson, but even so. I did have some hesitations earlier, but they're mostly gone now given circumstances. Although, thought - he's soft confirmed not Darkfriend. He's certainly not soft-confirmed not being Padan Fain. Maybe. Not sure how I feel about that thought. But I'll put it out there. Wilson - Again, soft-confirmed by first vote on Sart, even more so than Meta. May have more to say on her, but this has already gone longer than it should have and my roommates who are trying to get to sleep are probably irritated by the clicking of my keyboard, so that can wait. Seonid - Eventually voted on Seonid for the information it'd bring (although later changed over to Straw). Plus, generally gut good read. Somewhat trust. Sheep - At a glance I don't really see why he got so many votes on him. It reads fine to me. He was equally suspicious of Sart and Lopen and chose to vote for Lopen, but that's the only point against him that I really noted. Very slight trust. Con - Changed his lynch votes a couple of times, but I don't see much of interest other than that on first glance. (Obviously my reads are getting less thorough as I get more tired... Plus, I just listed every player I could think of and then went back to look up who I'd forgotten. I'm getting into the group I forgot to mention because they've been substantially less active. Thus less to say.) Elodin - Mostly talking with Sheep and Wilson. Suspicious of Wilson. Voted Sart and then immediately took that off when someone pointed out his reasoning was faulty, but I don't necessarily view that as too much of a bad thing. Hmm. Neutral, for now. Phatt - Has not posted at all. Hael - Has not said much. Paranoid of me, with reason. So... neutral, I suppose? Young Bard - Voted for Sheep, then Strawman, then Sheep, the second and third time when they had the most votes other than Sart respectively, I believe. Which is somewhat suspicious. Everything else looks fine, though, so I'll just say low neutral for the moment. HS - busy with RL, so hasn't said much. I'll reserve judgement until he's a little more active. Bugsy - Voted for Sart, then retracted and voted for Straw. Which seems somewhat like a village move, ish, but there's not much to go off of so I'm not at all sure on that. DC - Has not yet posted. GunshyMink - from what little he's said, I'm getting a village read, but there've only been a couple of game-relevant posts. I'd like to see more from you in the future, Gunshy! Araris - Went after Seonid and Nyali in the one post he made. Not too much to draw from that post, but if I had to pick I'd say village. Twei - made two posts. I can't read much from either. So neutral. List of a few people who defended Sart (that I noticed - I didn't go through everyone's posts, so I probably missed some people): Orlok Jaime Rubiks (kind of) Myself (initially suspicious but didn't vote for a while, then semi-defended with changed meta argument - summarizing since I'm not bothering to link) Okay, that's all done. Woo. That took a while, and it's after midnight... If someone else posts before I go to bed, I may revise and post my thoughts on the Corrupted that I wrote up earlier. We'll see. If not, I'll definitely post it in the morning. And I'll also respond to PMs in the morning, probably. I've seen them. I don't really feel like responding tonight. So you'll have to wait. Good night.

Quick Fix Game 16: The Shades of Threnody

Been in that position (although more often the opposite one). It's irritating.
-
I presumed Gamma wouldn't count any votes after :00, even though he's letting us post for a bit. Not sure, though.
-
Agreed. 13 pages on D1, guys! I don't remember ever having a D1 this long before. That's cool. Calm down, Winter. Nothing we can do about it now.
-
Nope, you don't, although Gamma does prefer it that way.
-
Well, it's kind of :01 already...
-
You don't say.
-
Yeah, it's fine. Just wasn't sure about your exact tone, so I wanted to make sure it was clear. Was it obvious? I don't think it necessarily was, since Warder/Channeller pairs are possible. Sure. But it does cut down on the number of ninja's.
-
I said it wasn't suspicious. In that same post. But I also thought it was worth mentioning. So I mentioned it.
-
Right. I may or may not be around at the time Night begins, so if I don't manage to finish my thoughts on every player (which I almost certainly will not), I may not be on until 4-5 hours from now. And I'll have to go without knowing Sart (or Straw)'s alignment... This is why you refresh the page before you post...
-
18 minutes til turnover. (Also, incidentally, that question reminds me of when you were an eliminator in LG11 and asked for when turnvoer was several times over the game. Not all that suspicious, but I wanted to point it out.)
-
I'm here! I wasn't aware that I would have this free time, but I'm free until after rollover! So. Lots of things have happened, thus lots of things to say. (Sorry to people who dislike reading long posts. This is what happens when I don't have access for most of the day so I can't respond to things as they come along.) What? Like, seriously. You voted for me for Mayor. Which kind of implies that (for some unknown reason) you trust me. Not that you suspect me. I'm confused. Other thing about that that I forgot to say last night: I'm traveling. Things like that post are useful (at least, I hope they are), and I can write them without internet access and then post them later. I can't do that with suspicions. So this is my way of trying to contribute as best as I can even though I have less time/access than usual. Also, it's filler to you, perhaps. It's not filler to players who weren't around when Kas was, or when discussions of PM safety took place. And obviously it's not something that everyone has learned, given the amount of openness in PMs in a game with PM spies. So I thought I'd lay out exactly why it's bad, as best I could. Hopefully it helped. Maybe? I do think something has seemed somewhat... off. I'm not sure about that, though. He just doesn't seem as clear as usual, I guess. Usually he clarifies the situation, and I feel like he's not doing that as much as usual right now. Well, I'm not saying I wouldn't use it completely. I would certainly vote every cycle I was Mayor and use my power as I thought right. But I don't think I would use it effectively. Small distinction, perhaps, but it's there. This is actually something I was going to bring up, although in the opposite direction. Because of the points made above about me doing more advice-giving than suspecting, I haven't put off anyone by accusing them or anyone they agree with. I think that might be a potential reason I've gotten so many votes, maybe. Because I haven't strongly accused anyone, so I'm safe to vote for, in a way? Not sure about that, but it's the only thing I can think of. Huh, okay. I'll be interested to find out what that is, then. I can't think of anything off of the top of my head, but then, I wouldn't be able to, would I? Presuming you mean MR14 there, since she wasn't in MR12. Do you have any reason for that vote? Just curious. Well, obviously, you're trying to say you're a Channeller and your Warder is a Viewer. (Or you're a Warder and your Channeller is also a Viewer, but that seems decidedly unlikely.) Alternatively, you're lying about having a contact (not realizing PMs haven't begun yet) and you yourself are a Viewer. Alternatively, you're lying about the whole thing to save your own neck (or just for fun). There's precendent for that, in QF14. I was going to vote for you, but I like Lopen's plan much better. Although if it is a contact and not just yourself who's the scanner, killing Strawman won't prove that the scanner is in fact a Villager. We'd have to wait two more cycles. That's five cycles of leaving an eliminator alive. Which is a little long, in my opinion. For now, I think my vote will stay where it is. My reasons for voting Sart have not changed, and I'm not sure that Straw is a better candidate. I'm going to write up a post of my opinions on every player now. May or may not finish before turnover, depending on how many people I have to respond to in thread. At least I'm able to post at all.
-
So. Let's talk about roleclaiming, shall we? And really, we're not only talking about roleclaiming. We're talking about trust. That's the big issue here. Let's see, how do I start... Your role is important. It's information which at this moment no one knows but you (unless you're a Darkfriend or a Warder/Chaneller pair). The eliminators would dearly love to know your role (no matter what it is - this includes no role. If you want extensive discussion of why vanilla roles are just as important, I believe there's a bunch in AG2. PM me during the night and I can find links if you want. Don't have time to go find them right now.), and they may or may not be actively trying to find those roles out (depending on who's on the team). Plus, they have four (or more; I just picked a number and haven't put any thought into what the numbers actually will be) people gathering information instead of just one, which is basically the current limit on info-gathering for the village. That's four times as much information, which the Darkfriends won't just use for suspicions like the village but in deciding who they kill. Obviously, this is a bad thing. So why do people do it? Why do they claim? It's not because they haven't heard this logic in some form before, because for the most part they have. It's something about PMs, I think. No one would ever think about recklessly claiming like that in thread. (Barring exceptions when it actually makes sense to do so so, like Wyrm in AG2 (ish) or Peng in LG2.) So why do it in PMs? Two reasons, I think, although they're somewhat related. One, PMs feel more... intimate. Personal. You're a lot more willing to trust one person than a whole group. (Which is why group PMs tend to be quiet unless it's a group of cleared people.) (To an extent, that trust is correct: talking in thread, the eliminators are guaranteed to see what you've said. In PMs, they only have a 20% chance or so. But you feel that way with every person to a greater or lesser degree, and if you tell something (like a role, or whatever other information you have) to multiple people, I think it's easy to fall into the trap of imagining a 20% chance for each instead of somewhat additive. Plus, you imagine it as a smaller chance, perhaps, because you're telling people you trust, but... trust isn't always right. A healthy amount of paranoia will get you far.) And you can talk directly and privately (barring PM spying) to people you trust. I'll come back to that in a moment. Secondly, at least in my experience, PMs have a mutual, unspoken agreement that even if you don't trust the other person, both of you will respond pretending like you do. Now, that's not always the case, but in general it is at least at first because 1) a PM without at least a small amount of trust (whether real or not) is not going to last long or be productive, and 2) because most of the time you don't want to accuse someone in a PM when you could accuse them in thread in front of everyone, which puts a lot more pressure on them and then everyone can see their reaction and judge for themselves how suspicious the other is. So you keep this agreement, right. You pretend like you trust each other. And a lot of the time, that gets confused with actually trusting them with information. Which should not happen. So, why do people claim in PMs? Because they at least somewhat trust the people they're talking to. Should they? No. No, they should not. Every time you're thinking about claiming to someone, imagine that they're a Darkfriend/Corrupted and think what they could do with that information. And balance that against how much you trust someone. Keep in mind that unless you specifically ask them to (and sometimes even then), people will have much less compunctions about sharing your information than sharing their own. So even if you only tell your role to one person you seriously trust, if they suspect you in return they could very well go around to other people saying "so and so claims this. What do you think?", and it's very easy for that kind of thing to reach the eliminators' ears. Also keep in mind that there's a conversion role this game. So you could give all of your information to someone you trust, and they could even be village! ...And then they're converted the very next cycle and the Corrupted get all of their information. Which is why we should probably not be claiming or giving information to people even if they're basically cleared. Stellar example of this, by the way: Joe in QF15. Villager. Not technically confirmed, but still got tons of info C1 because of how village he was acting. Then I converted him C2, and I had all of that information. Don't claim! Also, there's another question to ask. Why are you claiming? Why does this person need to know who you are? 90% of the time, there's no reason. You're claiming just... because. What's the point of that? If someone else needs to know your role, go ahead and claim to them, but if they don't, why the storms are you telling them? So don't roleclaim without a good reason. Really. Please, please don't. Okay, I'm done. Probably won't be able to get a suspicion list up before I have to go, unfortunately. And I almsot certainly won't be on again until after turnover. I do have time to respond to a couple things, though. I'll respond more fully when I make a suspicion list, but short version - Wilson is far too good of a player for me to read at this stage in the game, really. I'd have to go back through everything she's said to get any kind of idea, and I don't have time for that right now. Sorry. Agreed, so much. There's not as much to talk about during the night, so that's when we can bring up things like night kill roles and the Corrupted faction and how to deal with that. For now let's focus more on the lynch, I think. And I'm basically off for the day, now. May be around for fifteen more minutes, maybe, but nothing beyond that. See you on the other side of turnover!

I don't quite agree with that. At the time you posted, there were something like 20 hours left in the day. That's plenty of time to change things. If your arguments were good enough, you could probably ensure that none of those three options are elected. But, okay, at least I see where you're coming from. (Which is more than I do with Straw...) I... Well. Hmm. I have kind of been trying to avoid it, haven't I? I can't really refute that accusation. Because... because I don't think I'll use it most efficiently and I don't really view myself as the best person for that role. I can see how that would be suspicious, though, because I am avoiding the spotlight. And maybe partly because if I'm Mayor, that's fairly useless to me in that I can't deduce alignment from that nearly as much because I already know my own alignment. And also because I'm okay with the other lynch candidates getting it, though I'd prefer Lopen slightly over Meta? In which case I should probably vote for him... And it's not like my vote is doing much good where it is. So, if I want to stick to one of the current candidates, I could vote for Lopen or myself. Back to that in a moment. What could I do that wouldn't be suspicious, though? Should I just accept that these votes are my rightful due and vote myself Mayor without comment? Should I lynch vote for one of the people Mayor-voting me because I'm paranoid they're Darkfriends? Should I initially be hesitant (as I have been) and then turn around and vote for myself? Like that's any better. Point is, there's literally nothing I could do that wouldn't be at least somewhat suspicious. Because the circumstances around my being Mayor are storming suspicious. Anyway, that said. Who do I want to vote for? Not Meta, because I'm far too paranoid about him to do that and as others have said his voice has enough power already without a second vote. Lopen... I don't know. I can read him exactly as much as he can read me: not at all. Right now I'm leaning slightly village on him, but I'm sure that'll change. So... I dislike doing it, but I believe I will vote for Lomion. When it comes down to it, I trust myself to use the power (even if it's not used particularly well) more than I want to see the other two candidates with it. And hey, maybe this'll push me out of my comfort zone! That's not a bad thing. Okay. I'll put this out here now, so people can maybe respond before I have to go. I'll try to say my piece about roleclaiming and my thoughts on players, but I can't promise I'll finish. We'll see how it goes.

I'm emotionally drained from the play I just saw (actually, all three plays I've seen in the past two days have been draining due to their moral ambiguity, but this one was particularly intense. It was called Roe, about Roe v. Wade. It was heavy.), and I have a headache, so forgive me if I seem short and snappish. Okay. Let's make this short, then. 1. Votes. I may not be on tomorrow before turnover (although it's likely I'll be on for a bit in the morning), so I should vote now if I want to vote at all. So... Let's see. 2. Mayor vote. Um. Maill. He's vocal, he participates in lynches, and he would definitely put that power to use. Plus, I trust him to an extent. Does this really fit my criteria for a Mayor from earlier? No, not really. I'd prefer to elect someone newer. But there's no one I trust even a bit that also fits that category, and few people in that category that have even posted. So that's what I'm going with for now. May change my mind in the morning. 3. Lynch vote. Sigh. I think... Sart. I don't suspect him that much, but I suspect him more than I suspect anyone else. And that's enough for a D1 lynch, I think. Plus his death would probably be one of the most useful given how much discussion's happened around him. (Again, vote subject to change if my morning self decides that my tired night self was an idiot.) 4. Meta - I really doubt that the PM spy role exists. I really do. But it's not that hard to at least somewhat protect against that possibility, and I've just seen how bad it can be (twice, given that I just read through LG2 as well). Plus, emphasizing that also puts more emphasis on PM safety, which is a good thing. (Will talk more about that in the morning. I have some about that already written up, but it's not finished and I don't feel like bothering right now, so I'll finish that in the morning.) 5. Also to Meta's point - True, I haven't talked much about my suspicions. (To be fair, I usually don't... Doesn't excuse the behavior, though.) I should do that. Maybe I'll write up my thoughts on players in the morning, too. No promises. 6. I feel like I've been more talkative than I usually am when I'm not traveling... I'm not sure how this happened? 7. Good night. I'm going to bed. (Now. I could stay up and transcribe and finish that roleclaiming thing I wrote earlier. That's possible. If I do, I deserve to be scolded. I need sleep.) Sorry if I sounded irritated. I'm tired. 8. Oh, look, another post. Oh, look another vote on me for Mayor! What the heck. I don't... Ugh. I'm too tired to respond to this, except to note that you gave reasons for not voting for the other candidates, but no actual reasons for voting for me. Mind elaborating? 9. Goodbye.
