  1. With compounding, TLR doesn't need to eat or sleep, can move faster than sound, has immeasurable strength, weight, speed of thought and can literally heal from being burned to a crisp, beheaded, or from Shardblade wounds, and anything else you can think of. Fullborns are just ridiculously overpowered, and when they take a threat seriously, they're just unstoppable. He could mow through an army in a day or so without being tired. He could Soothe or Riot them into passivity or blind despair.
  2. The more damage there is, the more Stormlight is needed to heal it. And forcing the healing to go faster takes up even more Stormlight. What I'm saying is that TLR could pulp the body so fast and so thoroughly that the Stormlight wouldn't get a chance to heal them, or they'd run out before it healed them. I mean, he could splatter them into pieces. Not much left to heal there.
  3. TLR can literally move faster than the speed of sound. He would be able to bash through Plate with compounded pewter strength and crush or remove the head before the Radiant even saw him coming and likely cause too much trauma for the Stormlight to heal fast enough to keep the Radiant alive.
  4. That's not the scenario, though.
  5. Do you happen to have the citation for that?
  6. There's no confirmation. And again
  7. Here you go, if this is helpful Also, when you have addition thoughts to share after you've posted, but no one else has replied yet, you should use the Edit button to add thoughts to your post, rather than double (or triple) posting in a row
  8. We know that the Elantrians sent through the pool don't necessarily die. We know what happened to at least one of them, for sure.
  9. He should be able to use a Shardblade. Nightblood's "bond" with people is pretty shallow, so I don't see it interfering with summoning his spren as a Shardblade. The only problem I can foresee is if he summoned them both at once and didn't have enough investiture to feed Nightblood. That might hurt the spren, but it's hard to say, since the spren isn't really the same being as Szeth. But Nightblood was able to feed on Lift just by her holding on to Szeth. So it's difficult to know for sure.
  10. If he's drawn, he'll vaporize anything that he scratches, good, evil, or neutral. In that state, he's more Destroy Everything. Remember he almost ate Lift and Szeth at the end of OB. Yes, Vasher used him to vaporize a hole in stone so he could go through it.
  11. Because we know he's even lying to himself. If he's capable of lying to himself to that extent, he's certainly capable of lying to others. Because you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. The best liars are the ones that mix mostly truth with a little lie, and weave them together into something that seems plausible but is entirely misleading.
  12. She started to take it, and her mind started to expand, but then she decided to let it go, so her mind stopped expanding and it all left her.
  13. She didn't lose the information. She never had it. She released the power, so she never actually held it and so she never gained any of the knowledge that the Lord Ruler did.
  14. She could barely get a message of encouragement to get Elend to go to the Pits to find the Terris people. How would she convey technical and detailed information to someone?
  15. A Vessel can change a Shard's intent to a synonym but not to something completely different.
  16. It's very likely that Nightblood would eat them completely, preventing them from escaping to take new bodies, and sending them Beyond.
  17. Some of them are almost impossible to make without electricity. Some can be made, but with an expensive and long and difficult process. Again: Vin didn't gain any knowledge from the Well because she released it instead of using it. And after she Ascended she had other things on her mind+didn't have a chance or the ability to communicate with anyone. Also, FYI, you don't want to double post. If you have more thoughts to add, please use the Edit button, and add to your existing post.
  18. We know what happened, which was that he did not allow the creation of electricity. So clearly he did decide that he didn't want it, despite it allowing the refining of the other metals.
  19. Perhaps, but clearly he decided the benefits weren't worth the cons.
  20. The three powers would be the three Metallic Arts--Allomancy, Feruchemy, and Hemalurgy. Hmmm, you might almost call it Harmonious...hmmmm I love Brandon's foreshadowing!
  21. He did let metallurgy advance more than most other industries, but a lot of these metals still require those industries that he suppressed. Like electricity for electrolysis. With duralumin, she knew that it was an alloy of aluminum so she had something to go on. With the other metals, there's a dozen or so possibilities, and some of them are quite toxic or not obtainable at that tech level. So there's really no way to experiment with them. She probably did try the various metals that she could obtain, but all of the unknown-at-the-time metals were the ones that were really really hard to make at that tech level.
  22. It's not just melting point, it's the whole process of obtaining the various ores and refining them, then alloying them. Like, they didn't figure out how to make pure chromium until the late 1800's, and cadmium was around the same time. That's going to be a bit more advanced than TFE technology. Since she released the power instead of taking it, it didn't expand her mind like it did The Lord Ruler.
