Is Hoid involved in Taln's current state of being/location? Can Hoid use Stormlight? Does the map easter egg involve something from one of Brandon's other books? Did what happened to Honor happen before or after the Recreance?

Wouldn't they have to? I mean, in Dalinar's vision, the soldiers from the keep start fighting with each other for the Blades before the KR even left the field, so they had to know about it. And remember, abandoning their oaths meant murdering their spren, who were probably their best friends...

I don't think anyone is suggesting that his madness means he's not Taln. Only that his accent might be a hint that he's not Taln, because Elhokar and Dalinar can't understand him, while Shallan, and the guards at the gate can. It could be Temporal Confusion as I mentioned; he's getting his times and regions mixed up. Or it could be a clue for something more.

I think the secret is that Brandon's stalking me rather than the other way around! No, really, see... I live in Utah, my given name was Vinh, Brandon said I looked like her (at a signing), I wrote a story based on WoT, and Roshar sounds a lot like my handle that I've used for years (R'Shara). IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.

Yes it is A desert is determined by the amount of precipitation per year. Antarctica gets very little snowfall each year, so it's a desert. It's got so much snow and ice because what falls there never has a chance to melt.

Sorry I get Dustbringers and Edgedancers confused a lot. I'm trying to figure out why Chana's portait is at the beginning of Taln's chapter and whether it has anything to do with these discrepancies.

lol I didn't think you were being critical, just curious Like I said, I keep thinking of things and then coming here to post about them 5 minutes after someone else does, so I was already thinking of spiral galaxies. Also whether I can remember what the Seanchan continent from WoT looked like, possibly find a ying/yang symbol to superimpose over Roshar, whether Guy Gavriel Kay's Tigana has any clues and why I can seem to sleep....

WoB confirmed he's not a shardholder, although he's probably the most powerful non-shard holder in the Cosmere.
