Will we learn more about the character currently known as Hoid in Words of Radiance? Yes, you will. Watch for a story told at a bar." So here's an excerpt from the story Rock told at a bar of a man coming out of a pool in the mountains that the horneaters call holy: "Like person,” Rock said. “Maybe Alethi, though skin was lighter. Very angular face. Handsome,perhaps. With white hair.” Sigzil looked up sharply. “White hair?” “Yes,” Rock said. “Not grey, like old man, but white—yet he is young man. He spoke with me on shore. Ha! Made mockery of my beard. Asked what year it was, by Horneater calendar. Thought my name was funny. Very powerful god.” Speculation is that Hoid (it does describe him) was coming out of that pool, and that the pool is a shardpool. So maybe Hoid's worldhopping happens by going through shardpools????

Where does it say that she has a shardblade?

That's what I thought when they overthrew the empire in the first book of Mist-born... Also where do you guys get your information? Like that honor-blades vanish when their herald dies, and some of the specifics you seem to have on the oathpact? I've read most of Brandon's books (all of the cosmere) and yet every time I'm on this sight it feels like I'm missing something really important.

Talenelat seems to die at the end of WoK. But at the start of the book when its talking about the other herald, he implies that he's died several times. So what do you think: Is Talenelat dead as in dead-like dead as a rock, or dead as in hold on a min. while I die, I'll be right back. Cause It looked pretty permanent to me.

Hello everyone, I've read nearly everything Brandon Sanderson has written, with the exception of Steelheart and the Infinity Blade series (though I'll probably get to Steelheart soon). I found the sight on my quest to find the White Sand book, which was succesful, btw I was wondering if any of you know any of his writings that would say more on the shardholders, specifically Ruin and Preservation. Thanks.

If you get bored out of your mind, go read the alcatraz books. I know their written for kids, but you might get a good laugh out of them. I sure did =)
