I don't really want to do astraught one to one conversion; if that were the case, why not just use the Canon settings? What I think I'm aiming for is... More like, the situation of Mistborn, in the world of Equestria? Some stuff I am considering for Mistpony:

I haven't read Lord of the Rings in a really, really long time. Are... are there details on how he managed that? Was it like someone who plays a video game with a no-kill run, or does a Nuzelock pokemon run? Like, he thought killing Balrogs was too easy, so he decided to use the worst weapon he could find? Are you kidding? That part is fabulous. Seriously, I wasn't even kidding before. KhrysKhryss' arrogance and colour scheme makes me think of a certain Great and Powerful one... But that page? Damnation. No way I'm going back now, Khryss is voiced by Tabitha St Germain, and I am very much on board with her as cosmere!Rarity.

Yeah, that's Black Adam for sure. Looks like the New 52 version; the hood is a fairly recent addition to the look. The eyes... I dunno. Trinity War, Pandora's Box? No idea. Certainly an odd little thing though.

Urgh, yes. Sharon was pretty much pointless in that movie, other than to give Cap an on-screen romance. Frankly, I wonder if the character might not be better served moving to Agents of Shield. Yeah, that cast is getting pretty crowded, but it would let her be developed as a character in a way that the Cap films have singularly failed to do. Also, can you imagine a time travel episode titled 'Agents Carter'? Because I can, and that would be great. I think it's like mirror universes; it's fun to cut everything loose and play around for an episode or two.

Well, millennial? Mid-20's... But yeah. Green Arrow has the advantage of being a character on the Justice League cartoon (as did Hawkgirl), but I feel like Black Canary has had the bigger comic push. Honestly, I think of GA moreau "BlackCanary's Boyfriend" than the other way around. I do wonder how common that line of thought is...

I'm still figuring out the fixes, but here are the problems: - In terms of background, his issue is actually that he has too many dimensions. Hawkman has had his origin retconned dozens of times over the years. He's been an Egyptian Prince, an reincarnated Egyotologist, and a cop from an alien world of bird people. The problem is that rather than overwrite the character, DC decided that these are all in play at the same time, making him pretty horribly convoluted. And that's ignoring the times he hasn't been multiple people at once. - In terms of personality, Hawkman is a dudebro. His solution to problems is straightforward- bash it with a mace. He's often painted as the "Token Conservative" to Green Arrows "Token Liberal", and like GA, he can pretty obnoxious. Funnily enough,like Green Arrow, he's been massively overshadowed by his love interest. I would legitimately argue that my generation are more familiar with Hawkgirl and Black Canary than we are with those two jerks.

Of all the comic book characters I've ever read about -and there are many- I don't think there are any as unlikeable and monodimensional as Hawkman. Obviously, I am now putting thought into "How would I write All Star hawkman".
