  1. This game is going to be difficult to analyze, as we do not get instant feedback on good and evil roles. However, this cannot stop us from making analysis. With 4 bad guys (according to the write up), we're going to need some lucky lynches if we want to succeed. I think the best strategy for villages is to look for contradictions. Eliminators want to lynch people, so it makes sense that they will jump on bandwagons. However, that also causes flaws in their logic, which we can use to defeat them. So let's analyze what people have said so far. Lopen: To B. Determined received a vote early on in Cycle 1 from Paranoid King, and advised us to be careful when it comes to vote retractions. He laid an outline for roles, which had already been done. Advises against inactivity (whoops), but refuses to vote due to lack of suspects. He's been fairly active, but all in all, he's flying under the radar. Anamaxider: He posted saying he wouldn't vote Cycle 1. And he hasn't replied today, so there's nothing there... Alvron: Asks about number of cycles, and posts rule clarifications. He later adds a vote tally, but never actually votes. All he's done this cycle is say hi to me. Mailliw: Finally, someone who actually voted! He first attacks inactives for a couple of posts, with his vote winding up on me. Then he changes from me to Mark with no explanation! This cycle he's accusing Strawman for voting for Mark without any reason. Talk about calling the kettle black... Plus he wants to kill me, so that's annoying. He's at the top of my suspicion list. Elbereth: Agrees to a plan that thinks that players can't PM people if they're doing an action. He posted a vote total near the end of the cycle, but again, didn't vote. He's been on this cycle shaming Mailliw for bad logic, but that's about it. Paranoid King: He first poke votes Lopen, interestingly enough. He then creates a plan that doesn't work. He switches his vote from Lopen onto Mark at Strawman's request. I would still like an explanation of that. He is now suggesting we revive Mark, after he previously voted for him. It's very odd. Kipper: He managed to get 3 votes on him last cycle, but no one is attacking him any more. That's probably because everyone who voted for him is dead. He voted for Strawman early on in cycle 1, and never retracted it. Other than poke votes, he hasn't done much. However, he now claims that Mark PM'd him claiming to be a Skindancer. That's strange, since Mark was voting for him at the time. JerleShannara: He's been very active, but most of his posts are only 1 liners. He's voting for Strawman now, again after following Strawman's instructions to kill Mark. He was apparently convinced by Orlok, but didn't do a very good job of defending himself. StrawMan: He's been all over the place. He was the driving force behind Mark's lynch, he's been talking in code, and generally just being confusing. Still, he is a new player, so I'm willing to give him benefit of the doubt. Orlok: He's only made 3 posts this game. He's voting for Strawman right now based off of gut feeling. That can be more useful than you'd imagine, but I'm keeping an eye on him. Clanky: He's been fairly active, but he didn't vote cycle one. He is now advocating killing Deathclutch for jumping on Strawman's lynch train. DeathClutch: He jumped on Strawman's train today That's all he's really done, so it's hard to get a read on him. LUNA: She's done even less than DeathClutch. She's borderline inactive, so there's no way I can get a read on her. This summary has gone on long enough. I'm most suspicious of Mailliw because of the blatant contradiction in his voting patterns. I'm conflicted on Strawman's lynch, especially since we won't know if it's worthwhile until 2 cycles from now. I understand why he's suspicious, but I think it's a case of over-enthusiasm more than anything.
  2. Oswin was poisoning himself. He didn't want any part of this. He was already scared shitless by the White Walkers, so why did there have to be traitors here as well? He had hid himself in the cellar, drinking ration after ration of booze. He was dying in here. The others had found him though. They were mad, understandably so. He was a thief, and he always would be. He was a mean drunk though. He wouldn't let himself die. Not to these sorry lot. How dare they judge him? He wanted to come out on top for once. He took an unsteady step forward, and propped himself up on his axe. One way or another, he wouldn't die here. Well, I missed the first cycle, and am dying. I would appreciate a heal, but I'll understand if you need to use it somewhere else. I'm going through the thread to get my bearings. I should post some analysis a little bit later tonight, so stay tuned.
  3. Okay, it's time for some more analysis. First, another player list. It's reasonable to assume that we have at least three active Spiked still. It's likely that we have four, but let's look at a best case scenario. Since we know that they have been sending in their kill orders on time, at least one of them has been active each night. We can safely remove Creccio and Bort from our active threats, and I'm willing to give Weiry the benefit of the doubt as she stated she wasn't playing in blue text. I'm disappointed that our verified people are not showing up, but I can't do anything about that. Likewise, I'm concerned that Mashadar and Elkanah haven't spoken up. This cycle will determine the fate of the game. Therefore, I don't think an Eliminator would miss it. Thus I'm suspicious of everyone who actually posted in the thread. I'm doubly suspicious of anyone who actually followed my poke vote. Last night, I said I suspected Jain of being an Eliminator. Then I voted for Elkanah. However, a quick look at Day 1's vote tally shows that Elkanah voted for Jain. Since I'm suspicious of Jain, logically I shouldn't have voted for Elkanah. However, no one picked up on that. Instead, both Hero and Phattemer jumped onto my vote. Both of their reasoning leaves something to be desired. Hero claims that Elkanah was active throughout the game, yet he missed two whole cycles. Phattemer jumped on to prevent vote manipulation. That's a terrible excuse. The only way we lynched an Eliminator was through vote manipulation. I'm tempted to vote for Hero, but he already has two votes on him. Given that there are likely to be several active Eliminators, I worry that one of them is also contributing to that vote. Therefore, I'm putting a vote on Jain. We can't win the game with this little participation. We need to draw it out. The best way to do that is kill someone who is still active on 17thshard, but has posted nothing in weeks! That screams Eliminator to me. So please, let's join the Contribution Crusade one last time and find out if he's really guilty.
  4. You forgot Ripple's vote on Hero, so I added it in. I'm concerned that no one is defending Elkanah. I need to read back through his posts.
  5. Here's your daily dose of player list: Verified: OrlokTsubodai Luckat Active: Herowannabe Elkanah Mark IV Ripplegylf Sart- Smoker Elbereth Semi-inactive: Phattemer Madashar Mistborn WeiryWriter Jain Inactive: Creccio - Last online: 27 December Bort - Last online: Jan 4th I'm going to suggest something radical, since at this rate, we're going to lose the game. I propose a role call. We know there has to be a Spiked Smoker (which isn't me). There is also strong evidence that there is a Spiked Soother as well. If we reveal our roles, we have a much better chance of narrowing down our suspects. Since they are verified, we can exclude Luckat and Orlok from this reveal. As you already know by now, I am a Smoker. This is inevitably going to bring suspicion on me but if you vote for me, the village will be doomed. I'm going to cast a vote for Elkanah. His attack against me was suspicious to begin with. However, he also advocated forming a bandwagon. The only time a bandwagon is good is when the Village has a very strong suspect (like Maill). When there is a suspect, the Eliminators may be forced to sacrifice their own in order to remain undetected. However, we don't have a strong suspect right now. Thus a bandwagon is not advisable, as that will be driven by the Eliminators. Please tell the thread your role. I don't think any more secrets are helping our cause.
  6. You're misunderstanding my point here. I'm saying that Mailliw never claimed to save Jain on Day 1. That would soft confirm him, not just the fact he was a Soother, but that he accidentally caused an Eliminator's death. As I stated in my RP, I believe Mailliw was the one who Soothed me. Whenever he was defending himself, he would take a vote off of him, so I see no reason he wouldn't do that now. Of course, there's a possibility that both Soothers hit me, but that's a 1 in 6 chance, and that's even if the Spiked even Soothed someone. Like I said before, there was no way of knowing the Spiked kill would go through, so there was definite danger of scanning. What you're suggesting would be a gamble that the spiked don't need to do. We have enough suspects that they can get us to lynch. I'm in complete agreement that the Spiked have Smoker. However, why the heck would their Smoker reveal themselves to the thread. That automatically paints a target on their back. I only revealed because it helped my RP. I had hoped it would put pressure on the other revealed Smoker to come forward, but that was another one of Maill's mind games. It's definitely provoked discussion, which is always a good thing. However, it does not make me Spiked. Why would a Spiked want to claim Smoker? It would be better if they could say, "Hey look Maill soothed me, so I'm not a Smoker in the first place." The gambit you're saying the Spiked did is too risky. I admit this makes me look suspicious, but look at it from another angle. If I didn't reveal, what would have happened? Absolutely nothing. I would look less suspicious than I am now. Why would a Spiked deliberately increase suspicion on himself? He wouldn't.
  7. Yeah, I'm a Smoker. Back when a bunch of people were claiming to be Smoker, I decided to lay low, in case a late role reveal would kill me. I was only smoking myself at night, in case of Vote Manipulation. After the Seeker was revealed, I decided not to Smoke, since I didn't want to draw an incredible amount of suspicion on myself. As you can tell from the vote tally, my vote was Soothed off of Mailliw. I decided to reveal now for 3 reasons. One, it fit well with in the RP. Two, it doesn't harm me anymore. Would a Spiked really take the risk to not smoke himself? I suppose they knew they were killing the Seeker, but they couldn't be sure he wouldn't be Lurched. If they got scanned, it would be game over for them. And finally, there was one other person claiming Smoker that was never revealed to the thread, since I'm not the Spiked Smoker, I'd like to know who that other person is, and see if his actions make sense. EDIT: Apparently, it was Maill... Seriously? His mind games continue to live on. One other thing strikes me as suspicious. On Day 1, a Soother took STINK's vote off of Jain. I didn't make much of it at the time, but I find it odd now. We know of at least two soothers. One, of course, was Mailliw. However, wouldn't he have stated that to the thread? It was something that could have soft-confirmed him! Stranger things have happened, but it would be odd. However, the only other Soother we have is most likely Spiked, since they soothed a vote off of a confirmed Player. That's just speculation though. They could have been trying to kill Maill, and accidentally targeted a confirmed player. Again, stranger things have happened. Under the assumption that the Spiked player soothed a vote off of Jain, I have to ask why. He was leading in the votes, so if he was innocent, the Spiked shouldn't have taken a vote off of him. Therefore, I'm beginning to suspect Jain of being a Spiked. Unfortunately, we know he is a Thug, so he isn't the Spiked Soother or Smoker, but at least it is a lead.
  8. The hunter does not pity. It was one of the first rules Slart had learned as a child. The hunter does not pity his prey. Though the deer may have been beautiful, to a hunter, it was food for the village, life for another day. He felt pity now. Maill had been too talkative for his own good. He had wrapped himself in a web of lies and contradictions. He made his bed, now he had to lie in it. During the day, Slart had pointed out so many of the man's contradictions. It was a rush, like the thrill of the hunt. But that wasn't like him. He wasn't a wild animal, chasing after his prey like a wolf. No, he was normally more patient than that. But he had hunted anyway, and his prey was being dragged off. He considered just shooting the cobbler to give him a quick death. He started to knock an arrow, but he stopped before halfway. He pitied the cobbler. He had been the most active of them. Yelling and cajoling the town to be more vigilant. Where had that gotten him? Nowhere. Slart smilled bitterly. He knew he was probably being Soothed. The rage and passion he felt this morning were gone. He could stop it if he wanted to. He could put up his cloud and feel those emotions again. He chose not to. Maill was a Soother; he couldn't riot emotions that weren't there. Slart knew that his pity was real. He turned his back as the mob dragged the cobbler off. He didn't want to see what happened next. The town was quiet. There were no exuberant cries from the townsfolk. He knew what that meant. It meant that they had failed again. They had lynched another innocent Villager. The Koloss would come soon. It was only a matter of time before they invaded the village. With so few able-bodied men, the town didn't stand a chance against them. The Spiked would kill them all. For now, the air was silent. Slart started to laughing uncontrollably. He had always loved the silence. The town had always been too loud. Just once, he wanted them to shut up, to listen to the tranquility of the land. So why was he crying now? His wish had finally come true. The town was deathly quiet. There was finally peace throughout the village. And what did he have to pay for it? Just the blood of eleven innocent men. They had been friends once, even a family to him. Now they were all gone. He laughed a final time, as he wiped the tears from his face. He had made his bed, now he had to lie in it. The hunter cannot pity. As he laid in bed, he waited for the silence to overtake him. Soon enough, the town would be loud again, the debates would start again, as the Koloss drew ever nearer. He wondered if the town would ever be this quiet again. He hoped not. He didn't want there to be this deathly silence. He wanted there to be children playing, women singing, people talking. He wanted the town to become a raucous market-place filled with a thousand different sounds. He wanted the cobbler to still be making shoes in his shops. He wanted the apothecary still making strange elixirs. He wanted everything to go back the way it was. But it couldn't. The cobbler would still be dead. The apothecary would not be making any metal vials. Nothing could go back the way it was. All that was left was the silence. And for the first time in Slart's life, he hated it.
  9. I definitely agree with you that we need more discussion. However, letting Mailliw off the hook isn't going to solve anything. I remember one game where I was an Eliminator, and was as exasperated as Mailliw is getting. That's not evidence towards his innocence. In addition, it looks like the Eliminators are going to let this lynch go through. Whether that means we're wrong, or if the Eliminators are sacrificing a teammate remains to be seen. So In the interest of discussion let's consider both possibilities. If Mailliw is guilty. Well, that's definitely the best outcome, but we still need other suspects. Mailliw has indicated 5 players in his suspicion list. I would imagine he would include both innocent and guilty people to throw us off the scent. Of the people in the list, I would suspect Ripple the most. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mailliw hasn't suspected her very much until recently. On the other hand, if Mailliw is innocent, then we have a serious problem. Then we can take his list at face value, and hone in on a new suspect. Of the people listed, I would suspect Mark the most if Mailliw is innocent. He's just the right amount of active, and his conversation with the Spiked Lurcher still strikes me as odd. What are your thoughts?
  10. You're still not making sense. I'm saying Hael should have been a fear kill. He was active every cycle, and the Eliminators were targeting people who made active contributions to the thread. He should have been killed earlier! Instead, he survived until he was revealed as the Seeker. You even made a point about that yesterday, when you were accusing him of being a fake Seeker. You're not addressing my concerns. In addition, you're trying to confuse the issue by bringing up LG1. In that game, the village made the mistake of ignoring all the evidence, like role distributions, that pointed to the obvious Eliminator. In this case, your role of Soother also hurts your innocence. In a game with 3 Village Smokers, it would make sense for the Spiked to have a role-manipulator. Stop trying to confuse the issue here.
  11. All aboard the lynch train... Vote Tally: Mailliw (5): Hero, Elbereth, Sart, Mark, Ripple Hero (1): Mailliw We definitely have a bandwagon forming. This could mean two things. Mailliw might be a Villager, and the Eliminators have played us like a fiddle. If he's innocent, we're going to need a lot of luck to win this game. On the other hand, Mailliw could be an Eliminator, and his teammates have cut ties with him in order to look innocent. There's one major piece of evidence for Mailliw that I should address. Mailliw knew that Haelbarde was our Seeker around Cycle 3. Normally, an Eliminator would jump at the chance to kill an important role. However, there's a problem with that line of reasoning. Mailliw was most likely the only non-verified person who knew Hael's role. If Hael died, it would immediately indicate him as evil. In addition, Mailliw had no way of knowing if Alv's story was true. If he killed Hael, and he turned out to not be a Seeker, then he would be in serious trouble. Mailliw, as an Eliminator, would be in a Catch-22. If he killed Hael, he would get rid of the Seeker, but almost immediately be killed. If he did nothing, he could trust his Smoker to shield the team, and take the risk of a scan. Clearly, he did the later. In addition, there's one other thing that struck me as odd about Hael's death today. Why didn't they kill him sooner? I believe on Night 3, they took out Venture, most likely because they didn't like his summaries. Why then did they not kill Hael, whose links were doing the same basic function? I believe they didn't kill him because they didn't want to implicate themselves. Therefore, I strongly believe that Mailliw is an Eliminator.
  12. And again Mailliw. It's time this ended. There's a chance you might be a Villager, but at this point we need to lynch you. I'm assuming we have 4 Eliminators remaining. Since we only have 16 people remaining, that means that a fourth of the village is evil. Unfortunately, it's worse odds than that. Two of our players (Creccio, and Bort) haven't been seen in weeks. In addition, four of our players, (Phattemer, Mashadar, Weiry, and Jain) have been active on the site, but haven't participated in this game very much. That puts our odds at 6 good guys vs. 4 Eliminators. That's of course assuming that the Inactives are actually good. Generally speaking, Eliminators have more invested in any particular game, so they're more likely to participate. Still, even if one of them is an Eliminator, that still makes it 7 vs. 3. Worst case scenario, we only have one more lynch before the Eliminators win, unless some of the inactives start voting. We are not in a good situation right now. We need a lynch, and you're our best candidate.
  13. Okay, so assuming my math is correct, there is an 18.4% chance of Haelbarde being a Village Seeker who keeps missing. While that isn't great odds, when I was a Cop role I managed to get five innocent people before finally getting an Eliminator. Unfortunately, I never told the thread about it, so it went to waste, but I can understand where Hael is coming from. Therefore, I'm inclined to give Hael the benefit of the doubt. Next, I want to take a look at the lynch yesterday. I can't believe that such a radical shift in vote would occur, especially when the eventual lynchee was an inactive. Not only that, but he was seriously inactive. According to his user page, he hadn't logged onto the site since January 7th. Even if he is an Eliminator, he isn't harming us directly, since player's must PM the GM in order to do actions. Therefore, I believe a closer analysis of the votes last cycle will be useful. First off, Maill votes for Hael. We now know that Maill knew that Hael was a Seeker. It's a dangerous move by Maill, since he is the only one who knows that Hael is likely the only Seeker. Second, Hero votes for Maill. Maill bluffed to the thread that his Seeker verified that Hellscythe was good. However, Maill shouldn't have known that. He's since stated that he didn't have a Seeker. So then, how did you know that Hellscythe was innocent. There's only one target of Hael's scans that we don't know about. However, Hael has implied that person is still alive. Thus, there shouldn't be a reason for Maill to defend Hellscythe. In fact, he even voted for him on Day 3. Even more suspicious, Hellscythe apparently outed Maill as a Village Soother while tying the votes to save his own skin. There's no reason for Mailliw to try this bait and switch tactic on someone he thinks is guilty. This is a major contradiction. Third, Phattemer cites the "Shallan Debacle" as proof that Mailliw is playing with fire, and casts a vote his way. Fourth, Alvron puts the first vote on Jain. Alvron was also fairly inactive, so this is really calling the kettle black. Fifth, Kipper wants Mailliw to reveal the non-existent Proxy, and places a vote. Sixth, Mailliw says that is too high profile (LOL) and changes to Jain. Seventh, Hael has hit another innocent (Orlok) and doesn't know who to vote for. He throws a vote on Jain and ties up the vote. Eight, Elbereth calls Mailliw out on the Hellscythe scandal, and puts a vote on him. Ninth, Hero changes his vote from Mailliw to Jain, citing the Contribution Crusade. He knows it's a bad idea, but he does it anyway to make the game more fun. Finally, Elkanah votes for Jain to prevent vote shenanigans. Strangely, we have two votes missing on Mailliw in the total. It seems logical that Mailliw is a Soother, so that at least counts for one missing vote. So, we have 5 people voting for Jain: The Verified (Alvron), The Desperate One (Mailliw), The Seeker (Haelbarde), The Fun-Lover (Hero), and the Clincher (Elkanah). There's one obvious suspect in all of this: Mailliw. His game style has been erratic at best, and he has already made several contradictions. Therefore, I urge you to vote for him.
  14. Okay, we need a vote count. Hael (1): Mailliw(1), Orlok(1), Mark Mailliw (3): Phattemer, Sart, Orlok(2) Orlok (1): Mailliw(2) Hero (1): Alv I'm glad we finally got that information out in the open. I need to do some statistics, but I'll be back in a bit.
  15. Well Mailliw, it looks like you dug your own grave. What happened to that other Seeker, whose Proxy you were in contact with? Where did he go? If you believe that there is only one Seeker, why haven't you outed the Proxy yet? You've seriously contradicted yourself here. At this point, you're obviously a spiked. Sorry, but you lose.
  16. Mailliw what are you implying here? Are you saying that Hael is a Seeker, or that he normally has more suspicions at this point. If it's the former, then that's a dangerous move to play, and if it's the latter, why bring it up now? Yesterday, you switched from voting early in the cycle, citing that if Hael was guilty, then Alvron was. Can you please explain that line of logic? I still think you're an Eliminator, but I want to squeeze as much information as I can get from you, regardless of your alignment.
  17. Okay, now I'm sure you're an Eliminator. Let's examine this plan of yours. You aren't scanned. Yesterday basically divided the village into two groups, those for and against you. It would help a lot if we knew which group was in the right. Someone you chose is scanned. If you're an Eliminator, these are guaranteed to be good guys, or at least Clouded people to get suspicion off of you. If you're good, then you have no way of knowing if these people are evil. You get Lurched. This allows for an easy Wounded Gazelle Gambit. And why should you be lurched? By your own admission, you only know a proxy! There's no danger in losing any information if you are killed. You take a Lurcher away from someone else. We need Lurchers guarding as many people as we can. We at least need one for Kipper, so that we have a direct link to the other Seeker. If you're actually an Eliminator, then Jake is in grave danger right now, and we need our Lurcher's to go wide, not target someone who we know for sure isn't Jake! Mailliw, this plan of yours makes no sense. I have a different proposal. Coinshot Mailliw! Everyone has been suspicious of the Eliminators having a Smoker, so I don't think Seeking you will work. If you live through the night through the night by this plan of yours, you will just look more suspicious. You're not helpful as a Villager, since, as you have already stated, everyone isn't following your suspicions. You haven't told us what role you have, so I'm assuming it's not very useful. (You're not likely to survive for very much longer, so why not tell us?) Yesterday was one of the most active days we had. I highly doubt the Eliminators didn't take part in it. Your death would strongly indicate which side they participated in. I know dying sucks in this game, but you've made it a lot farther than others. It's time to do what's right. If there isn't a coinshot, I want you to vote for yourself. I'm sorry, but this is the best thing to do for the village.
  18. Okay, it looks like I didn't make my point clear enough. I understand that when someone votes for an Eliminator it's not a guarantee that they are a Villager. However, when someone puts an Eliminator on the chopping block, I tend to take notice. Look at when Venture voted. Haelbarde's vote on Lopen is still active when he puts his vote on. Since no one else had 2 votes, Lopen would have died had the votes stayed that way. And the most important thing is, it appears as though he did it without even realizing it! Do you really think an Eliminator wouldn't keep track of the one page of votes and notice that someone had already voted for his teammate already? It's bizarre. Using that line of logic, wouldn't Haelbarde be more suspicious? In the train of thought, he noticed his teammate was in danger, so he retracted his vote. The main piece of evidence against Venture right now is a comment of this game taking up a lot of his time, distracting him from his other game. I can think of 3 reasons for this. He's busy on the Eliminator doc. Like I said, I don't think that's the case, but it is a possibility. He's in a lot of PMs/ has an important role for the good guys. I want to know how many PMs he is in to settle this possibility. I don't need to know what about, just that he's in them. He used this game as an excuse for not being active in the other game. Judging by his frequent but short replies, it looks like Venture has a short attention span. He keeps getting distracted from analyzing by real life. Honestly, given what I know about him, I think this is a very really possibility. Speaking of PMs, thank you for the reply Mailliw. I still need to hear from MarkIV, as that is the more suspicious conversation. I want to know who started the conversation. Edit: Feels weird not using blue text. Old habits die hard.
  19. My new laptop has finally come in, so hopefully I can be more active. Anyways, I would just like to point out that we hit the day 3 slump. For some reason, the more information we have, the less we seem to debate. This leads to fewer posts, which in turn leads to fewer votes. It's a bad cycle, but I'm not sure what we can do about it. Anyways, time for a vote count. Venture (3): Mailliw, Haelbarde, Alvron STINK (0): Wyrm Hellscythe (1): STINK Herowannabe (1): Wyrm I'm just going to post some random observations I made, in order to help deduction. Haelbarde votes for Lopen as the first post of Day 1. Venture votes for Lopen on Day 1. Hellscythe trusts Lopen. Haelbarde retracts his vote. Hellscythe is in PMs with Lopen... Mailliw confirms that Lopen responded to him, claiming illness Mark IV also affirms that, and mentions lack of internet. (Why would Mark PM Lopen? Mark is a new player...) Lopen posts! Hael switches to Adavantos, then to Bort. Cycle 1 ends. So let me get this straight. We're voting for the only person that voted off an Eliminator. REALLY? Slart stared at the village. They were being noisy once again. That wasn't surprising to him. They were once again trying to lynch someone. Again, not very surprising. What was surprising was who they voted for. "Alexander Venture is the only one of us who voted for Lippen." He hated having to speak up, but it was past time he did so. "This reeks of idiocy and manipulation." Again, no one spoke. He had to continue. "Unknown and Maill talked to Lippen privately. What did he say?"
  20. On the topic of Smokers: In the previous AG, Meta included a large number of smokers to prevent role manipulation. However, he was disappointed when many of the Smokers simply abstained from smoking. I don't think he would give us the same role distribution again, as that would be boring. However, he has given us a lot of Smokers this time as well. There could be 3 reasons for this. He added a lot of vote manipulation. Possible, but like I said, it would be a repeat of last time, so I don't think it's very likely. In addition, that game had Spiked vote manipulators, but in this game, we appear to have mostly Village manipulators, as evidenced by the day 1 lynch. He could be trolling us. Smoking could be harmful to the village in this game. Given his comments about Smoking in the previous game, I doubt this, but it is possible. After all, his name means thinking about thinking. The Spiked have a Seeker. This is what I think is the most likely. Since we have Smokers, the power of a Seeker is greatly neutralized. However, if we fail to use our powers, we give the Spiked the advantage. In addition, this prevents us from buffing our Seeker by not Clouding, as that puts us at a disadvantage. Because of this 3rd possibility, I recommend that the Smokers do not reveal. While it gives information to the village, it can also give a lot more information to the Spiked. I strongly believe we have some Smokers who are not claiming, and even if there is a Spiked Smoker, there is no downside to not claiming. In fact, it would be smart, as they wouldn't be a target for the lynch until much later.
  21. Maill, could you please explain why you voted for STINK? I'm having trouble understanding the change of vote from Ripple to him. There was a big shift towards him during the last 2 pages, and I want to know why it happened.
  22. Okay. I'm browsing on mobile right now since I broke my laptop screen. ): Since it's out of warranty, it will cost more to repair it than to just buy a new one. Unfortunately, this means that I don't have an easy way to post here until I get a new one. I'll try to be active as much as possible, but don't expect too much from me. Anyway, Stink is currently up for the lynch. His playstyle always makes me suspect him, but it's usually a false positive. I'm going to put a vote on [text color=red]Hellscythe[\text color]. His vote on Jain was very strange, and I haven't seen a good explanation for it.
  23. What is that idiot doing? Slart had retrieved his arrow, and had walked back to town. Although he didn't like it, he couldn't risk being out. And now he had to talk to a madman. "Why Jain?" The madman turned and looked at the late arrival. "He participated in the discussion last night." Although all he did was talk about chewing bamboo in the past... The madman glared at him. He had voiced suspicions of two other town-members, but he chose someone quiet to lynch. He wouldn't stop the madman. After all, the town needed its pound of flesh. Perhaps he knew something he didn't. He didn't bother asking. The lynch would answer his question. All he had to do was wait. He was good at that.
  24. The forest was quiet. The town wasn't. It upset Slart. They were getting worked up. Senn was dead, but t didn't surprise him. They would all die. Did it really matter when? He stared at the sunset. The Koloss would kill them. They didn't see that. They focused on finding the spiked. They wouldn't succeed. Not this soon. There was a chance that they might strike one randomly. That wouldn't lead to the other members That was scavenging for scraps. Scavenging would only get them so far. They needed to wait. They wouldn't understand that though. Not until it was too late. He sighed. He could wait. Slart notched an arrow, and fired into the nearby tree. And when the time came, he would hunt.
