  1. The camp was quickly turning on Caden. He had admitted to being a Thief, and that he was hoarding Bribes. However, he had an ace up his sleeve. There was lingering resentment about Jenoue, and suspicions he might have been a Forgotten. A well-placed Bribe did the trick, and Caden was able to get the town to turn on Jenoue. Sadly, Jenoue was merely a loyal Rithmatist, further weakening the Camp. Taking advantage of the chaos, the Forgotten known as Ecnelis made his move, and summoned more chalklings to devour the Village. However, a gunshot rang out, and Ecnelis dropped to the floor. Out of his body flowed dozens of Wild Chalklings. The cabin was no longer safe, and the remaining soldiers bid a hasty retreat. Vote Count: Cadmium Compounder (2): Devotary of Spontaneity, Araris Valerian Devotary of Spontaneity (3): StrikerEZ, Cadmium Compounder, Snipexe Devotary of Spontaneity was lynched. He was a Rithmatist. Xinoehp512 was shot. He was a Forgotten. Camp Supply: Items Taken: Player List: The Strength of the Chalklings is at 3. This Night will end on Sunday July 14 at 7:00 PM CDT.
  2. And that's time. Give me a second to post the writeup.
  3. Less than 5 hours to go. Vote Count: Devotary of Spontaneity (1): StrikerEZ Lumgol (1): Araris Valerian
  4. You may. Just remember, it's one action to take a book, and another action to read the book.
  5. The camp made steady progress through the Night, inching ever closer to the Tower. Brodie noticed something odd in the distance. Eager to investigate, he ran off ahead of the group. He was surprised to discover a small log cabin nestled in the middle of the woods. Amazed at finding civilization this far into the wilds, he entered the cabin. Papers filled with mad scribbling littered every inch of the place. He picked one up, trying to decipher it. Scrawled on the paper, were notes on theoretical Rithmatics. Incredibly, it detailed two new Lines of Rithmatics. How was that even possible? And what other knowledge was contained in this place? Brodie turned around, eager to report back, but standing in the doorway was a shadowy figure. Brodie was startled, but then relaxed as he realized that it was one of the others. "You'll never believe..." Brodie was interrupted mid-sentence. The other man had thrown a knife into Brodie's chest. Brodie tried to stay on his feet, but a second knife to the head sealed his fate. The Forgotten looked around the room. The secrets in here were dangerous. If he had the chance, he would have burned this place to the ground. Unfortunately, the others weren't much farther behind. Still, he wasn't too concerned. The Forgotten would make sure the knowledge here never left the group. Camp Supply: Known Items: Specializations: Advanced Rithmatics: Player List: This Day will end on Saturday, July 13th at 7:00 PM CDT.
  6. The Camp took stock of its situation, and set to work. Many items were distributed among the survivors while they introduced themselves. Caden noticed something was amiss though. Rick was nowhere to be found. The base was a series of small caves, and so Caden set off spelunking. He was horrified by what he found. Rick's lifeless body was sprawled out in a side cavern, resting in a pool of blood. Wild chalklings were already feasting on the corpse. Some of the swarm noticed Caden. He ran away and screamed, "Guys, we need to get out of here!" Vote Count: Cadmium Compounder (1): Butt Ad Venture Ventyl (1): Araris Valerian Dr. Dapper (1): Cadmium Compounder StrikerEZ (1): Ventyl Dr. Dapper was lynched. He was a Rithmatist. Items Taken: Camp Supply: Player List: The Strength of the Wild Chalklings is at 2. The Night will end at 7:00 PM CDT on July 11, 2019.
  7. A piece of chalk is a One-Use item. Once you draw a Line with it, the Chalk is gone.
  8. First off, there's only 2 chalk available, so 4 players definitely aren't getting chalk today. To answer the question though, no, you cannot pickup the items of a player who just died. They will become available in the next turn.
  9. Just place orders not to use it. The default is not revealing who takes what. You have to specifically say you're using the Lantern to reveal that you took an item in the writeup.
  10. To clarify, you can use the Lantern as many times as you want. It's a Passive effect that lasts as long as you have a Lantern.
  11. Yes you could. You could also use a Bribe at night, which would affect the following day. No. Lines of Warding only work on the night they are drawn. If the camp's defense exceeds the strength of the chalklings, the excess Defense is wasted. Yes. As a Night action, one Forgotten can kill a player. They also have a Google doc to collaborate in.
  12. All PMs should be sent out. As a reminder, PMs are open. Just be sure to include me, my Co-Gm, @Ax's Boyfriend and our Impartial Moderator @Fifth Scholar Let me know if you have any questions.
  13. "If you are reading this, we have failed. The Forgotten must have already known of our plan to recruit you, and have killed me. They have moles everywhere. Fear not though. The Master always has a plan. We can still salvage something out of this. By now, you should be at our base of operations inside the Circle. It's ironic that the safest place from those creatures is inside the pen we've built for them. We've assembled a moderate stockpile of items that could prove useful. Most importantly, we've gathered enough explosives to blow the Tower sky high. Do not use these until you are at the Tower. You're all Rithmatists, so I expect you to have Chalk on you. Use it, along with the items in our Supply, and charge the Tower. The going will be rough, but if you can get close enough, we can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Please, I beg of you. End this war." Kadal. The beleaguered survivors huddled together. The recruitment drive at the alumni gathering had been an ambush. Many had died to a Chalkling horde. Those who weren't informed of the danger were briefed on the situation. High Command was run by the Forgotten and the Circle was failing. Their only hope was a desperate plan to destroy the Tower. They eyed each other wearily. There had to be Forgotten among them, but before they departed, they needed to figure out who. Camp Supply: Known Items: Known Roles: Player List: This Day will end on July 10, at 7:00 PM CDT. Good Luck.
  14. Any chance I can get any of you to sign up? I'm short on players, but I don't want to delay this game since we haven't had a game running for a while.
  15. Every day I'm shuffling Whoops, looks like I didn't copy and paste the full sentence there. Every day, a lynch will be held. There is no vote minimum, and ties will be decided at random. One action during the day, one action during the night.
  16. The Tower of Nebrask stood tall above the plains, wild chalklings flowing out from its every crevice. It had stood for ages untold, and soon its master plan would be coming to fruition. Elsewhere, the survivors of a traitorous plot were devising a scheme of their own. “Where’s Caccoo Moreau?” asked Aiden. “Dead.” replied Kadal softly. “The Forgotten got to him.” “What are we going to do?” prompted Aiden. “We’ve lost so many already.” “I have a plan.” interrupted Mya. “We’re going to end this war, once and for all.” “I’ve already told you, Mya, it won’t work! We don’t have enough manpower!” yelled Kadal. “That’s where they come in…” Mya explained. Elsewhere, a group of classmates were reminiscing about their time at Armedius Academy. “It’s hard to believe it’s been this long since we’ve gotten together.” remarked Tendin Throk. “Feels like yesterday we were all fighting in the Melee.” added Vao Temer. “I still should have won that.” bitterly replied Joseph. “Matist was nearly down for the count, but then,” “Yeah, yeah, we know.” interjected Pete Gazon. They had all heard the story by this point. “Speaking of Matist, where is he?” asked Slavista. “Schmoozing it up with the bigwigs no doubt.” responded Miffed. “Jeesh, don’t they know that this is important? We’re here to remember those we’ve, we’ve...” Apla trailed off, tears welling up. Elysian put a hand on Apla’s shoulder. “We all miss them.” “Hey, let’s not all be down in the dumps! We’re here to celebrate their lives, not mope around.” complained Drake. Raising his glass, Jeeves proposed a toast. “To our good friends. May we meet again in the Master’s halls.” The remaining alumni responded with a hearty “Here, here!” Elsewhere, in the halls of Central Command, the Forgotten planned their next move. “Status report!” barked Samuel Kessen. “Thing are going according to plan.” replied Wyatt. “Isaac has dropped the hammer on the Fifth brigade, and Cole has subverted supply lines for the Sixth.” “What about our stragglers?” continued Samuel. Tory Farth fielded that question. “Don’t worry about them. Shanice has already gotten several of our operatives to monitor them.” He shook his head. “The fools plan plan to coerce an Armedius Alumni group into joining them, and then mount a desperate attack on the Tower. We’re one step ahead though, and have had Matist convert several of his classmates. With all of our sabouters, there’s no way the offensive succeeds.” “And you’re sure the conversion was successful? We’ve had too many mistakes lately. We can’t afford another.” demanded Samuel. “Of course, they were successful.” Joel replied. “Ronald was a fluke. That man never had his lid screwed on right to begin with. You haven’t had any problems with Jain, have you?” “No, of course not.” Sam broke out in a sinister smile. “How long have we waited for this? Nothing will go wrong. At long last, it is time for our revenge.” The Forgotten’s eyes glowed white. Elsewhere, a giant squid was on a mission. He plodded across the land, one thing on his mind. It was time for it to smash. The Tower was waiting. All the pieces were on the board. And now, after all these years, it was time for the game to end. Welcome to Long Game 57, The Tower of Nebrask. This is the conclusion of the 5 other Rithmatist games in this sub-forum. I'm Sart, your GM. @Ax's Boyfriend is helping me out as a co-GM. This game will be starting on July 8th, at 8:00 PM CDT. 17. @Furamirionind Spectator? Yes. Brains? Yes. Answer. BRAINS!!!!
  18. Brains. @WeebTrash BRAINS!!!!
  19. Yeah, we'll need all the help we can get to lynch Lumgol. We don't want any more casualties.
  20. @Alvron 2 Questions: Does voting cost an action? Does making a PM cost an action?
  21. Exactly. Well, the only thing I can think of doing is removing my vote on Devotary and adding one on Aman. I really hope there's not two Village Lurchers, otherwise we just wasted a whole lot of time.
  22. Look if I'm evil, why the heck would I claim Lurcher? It would just lead to Drake dying next cycle rather than this one.
