  1. I'm still incredibly suspicious of Fifth Scholar for several reasons, which I will now articulate. The post I just quoted focuses on less active players. We already talked Day 1 about how less active players were less likely to be converts. Why then was Fifth Scholar focusing the conversation on them? Upon further inspection, they have been offering role swaps. That is a terrible idea in a conversion game. If they aren't converted, they can be converted and let Sja-Ajanat learn all of our most powerful roles. If they are already evil, they now know most of the town's roles, which gives Sja-Ajanat easy access to Division. That could easily spiral into the Elims getting multiple kills each turn. Upon giving them my action from last night, Fifth claimed to be a Stonespren. Such a claim is hard to verify, and would be an easy claim for Sja-Ajanat to make. Upon prompting, Fifth admitted to having an Essence stolen from her last night because of a Highspren. I chatted with the Highspren in question. Day 1, the Highspren claims Fifth took two essences. If he was a Stonespren as claimed, he could have fused those two essences with the two he started out with during the Night. However, the Highspren was able to take one of those Essences. Item crafting comes before the Highspren action, so Fifth did not craft last night. I propose that Fifth Scholar may in fact be Sja-Ajanat, rather than a Stonespren. For these reasons, I urge you to vote on them. I will be amplifying my own vote on them to hopefully make sure this lynch happens.
  2. Happy Easter everyone. I'll vote on Fifth Scholar Their last post felt off. I'm having a hard time explaining why, but I'll put my vote on you for now.
  3. Ah wait removing Devotary's vote would kill me. Devotary can wait. Coop I don't particularly suspect you, but I need to save myself. I will remove your vote to prove my role.
  4. You're right in that I was too pushy. I excluded you because I value RP, and excluded Drapper because he was new. I also didn't realize that CadCom had stated he was busy, otherwise I wouldn't have voted on him. However, I want to clarify one point. When I said vote often, I didn't mean that in terms of bandwagons. Rather, I want people to vote with their gut. Especially Day 1, it's easy to get swept up in the crowd. I want everyone forming their own opinions, and making their thoughts heard. We're all in the same boat, so lets have everyone weigh in. Since Cadmium Compounder has weighed in, I'm taking my vote off of him. I'll put my new vote on Devotary of Spontaneity . They're following the thread carefully, but didn't post a vote until late. In addition, they suggested that we shouldn't reveal roles day one. I disagree, because while it could prove problematic with conversions, it prevents us from making a preventable mistake. In that vein, I will reveal that I am an Inkspren. I will remove Devotary's vote to prove it.
  5. This type of post is storming annoying. Seriously, who cares if you checked in? All I care about is your thoughts on the game. It's Day 1. No one knows anything, so any and all thoughts are valid. I put a vote on Lumgol, because of a two sentence long post of his. Was that good evidence? Not really, but it kicked off discussion that is good evidence. This type of post though, gives us absolutely nothing to work on. It's not even RP that adds to the quality of the game. It just makes sure you don't die from an inactivity filter. If you have time to post, you have time to vote CadCom. Reviewing is overrated. Vote now and vote often. That's the only way the village wins.
  6. "You're getting in the way." snarled Tahree Fields. Snip tried to fend her off, but to no avail. With one deft motion, she snapped his neck, a grimace on her face. The she turned to face Steel Kid the Science Squid. The squid was gone. "WHERE ARE YOU!" she screamed in a voice not befitting her bookish demeanor. Suddenly, acid splashed her face, and her eyes glowed white. "I'VE WORKED TOO HARD TO LOSE TO YOU!" She desperately attacked the Squid, trying to kill her last foe. A stray tentacle managed to grab her by the leg, and flung her into the air. "NO!" she screamed, before the squid slammed her into the ground, once, twice, three times. Tahree Fields, the last Forgotten, had finally perished. The Squid wasn't sure what to do. It was stranded on land, with no one to feed it. It looked toward the Tower of Nebrask. It had liked smashing the Forgotten into bits. It started crawling towards the tower. It was just one more thing to smash. Vote Count: Snipexe (1): Steeldancer Elandera (1): Snipexe The Soldiers have just barely won. Congrats to Steeldancer to being the only survivor. In case you're wondering what happened, Elandera won a tie lynch against Snipexe. However, Steeldancer used acid on her, so her kill did not go through. The lynch was tied for the next hypothetical cycle, as both players had bribes. Elandera lost that coinflip, and so Steeldancer won. Player List:
  7. And that's the game.
  8. Hmm... We're dealing with a conversion game, so our main focus should be Sja-Ajanat. As far as I can tell, only Sja-Ajanat and the Stormfather have extra lives. In my opinion, we should immediately kill anyone with an extra life. If we hit the Stormfather, obviously it's annoying, but they should be able to verify their claim by causing someone to bond, preferably a role with a unique surgebinder ability. So, we need to lynch as often as possible. @Steeldancer What are the rules for the lynch? Specifically, how many votes are required to lynch a player, and what happens in the case of a tie? So, to start things off. I will vote on Lumgol. Why Lumgol? Because of this post: If anything, I trust inactive players more this game, as they are undesirable targets for conversion. This logic might be intended for us to lynch inactive villagers, rather than focus on finding active killers.
  9. "You can't be serious." Caccoo Moreau protested. "I killed Logmul. The first Forgotten, remember?" The town just stared at him. At the end of the day, he was their best option. "Seriously? What happened to us? How did this all go wrong? Fine, if you have to kill me, kill me. There's only one left. Just please, for all that is good and holy, don't let it win." Caccoo's death was brief, but no white eyes greeted the camp. There were only three of them left. It would end soon enough. Vote Count: Devotary of Spontaneity (3): Elandera, Steeldancer, Snipexe Snipexe (1): Devotary of Spontaneity Devotary of Spontaneity was lynched. They were a Soldier Two villagers have been lynched in a row. More items have been added to the camp supply. Camp Supply: Player List:
  10. And that's the cycle.
  11. It would have shown up yes. The lantern reveals who attempted to go for the item. If they failed due to Acid, or not having enough items in the supply, they would still show up.
  12. To clarify. When there is a struggle over the gun, no one gets the gun. Only one player is lucky enough to survive the encounter, and the ammunition is wasted in the struggle.
  13. The camp was in agreement. Snapizar had to be the last Forgotten. It was the only thing that made sense to them. Tahree had her doubts though. Snapizar had bribed Caccoo, so how could he have killed Joel. He should have had an alibi. Perhaps the last Forgotten was actually Iria Byrd. Yes, that made more sense to her. She looked, but didn't see the woman anywhere. That boded ill. Tahree ran after Iria's footprints. She barely noticed Snapizar's final moments, intent on finding her prey. She found Iria rifling through the camp supply, looking for something. Tahree dived in as well, both searching for the same thing. They grabbed the gun at the same time, and started wrestling for control of it. "You're all crazy!" shouted Iria, "I can't trust any of you!" "No, you're the one we shouldn't trust!" yelled Tahree. "BANG!" The gun went off, blowing up Iria's brains. Tahree's hands were covered in blood, and all she could do was laugh. They were doing so well, but now there were only four of them left. Kidpen was lynched. He was a Soldier. xxGaea was killed in the struggle over the gun. She was a Soldier. Camp Supply: Player List:
  14. And that's the round. Let's see what happens.
  15. "Everyone!" shouted Joel Tawson. "Now ah may be a thief, but this here Snapizar is the last Forgotten." The camp turned toward Snapizar eyes full of distrust. "I'm not the last Forgotten. It's um... Iria. Yeah, it must be her!" The crowd remained unconvinced, but then, something extraordinary happened. A Giant Squid, out of absolutely nowhere, smashed the brains out of poor Rogiv.. The crowd was shocked at this display of sudden brutality, that they momentarily forgot what they were doing. Snip looked around, confused. "Uh guys... where did Joel go?" Elsewhere, Joel was running far, far away. He hated acting like a coward, but what was he supposed to do? The camp already knew he was a thief. He was sure he had enough supplies to make it off Nebrask. Then, he would start over, with no one knowing that he was a deserter. Besides, he was pretty sure all of the Wild Chalklings were dead. The camp would be fine without him. He stopped, running out of breath. He turned to look back at the camp, one last time, and saw a pair of glowing white eyes staring back at him. "What? That's not..." The chalklings devoured him before he had a chance to scream. Vote Count: Kidpen (1): Elandera Gaea (1): Kidpen Xinoehp (1): Steeldancer A Joe in the Bush has died. They were a Thief. Xinoehp was lynched. They were a Soldier. Two soldiers have been lynched in a row. More items have been added to the camp supply. Camp Supply: Player List:
  16. And that's the round. Give me a sec.
  17. Vote Count: Devotary of Spontaneity (1): Elandera Cycle ends in 24 hours. Get in your actions and votes before it ends.
  18. Kally died full of regrets. She had signed up with some misguided notion of patriotism. Now, at the end of it all, she could only laugh. "Seventeen days," she thought. "Seventeen days, and I could have been free from this all." She didn't condemn anyone, and died with a smile on her face. Perhaps, in the Master's warm embrace, she would finally find some rest. Elsewhere, Ol' Huld had to relieve himself. He wasn't concerned about going by himself. He had his trusty gun with him. Course, the snow storm was still blowing, but it seemed like the worst of it had died out. He hurriedly finished his business, and turned around. Someone was watching him, and their eyes glowed white. "Y'all must be pretty darn stupid to be comin' after me. After all, I got this!" He reached down to grab the gun and shoot the Forgotten, only to discover it wasn't by his side. "What in tarnation!" he managed to get out, before a swarm of wild chalklings enveloped him. The Forgotten tilted their head, as if considering something, before turning around, and letting its minions do the rest of the work. Vote Count: Arraenae (2): A Joe in the Bush, Elandera Arraenae was lynched. They were a Soldier. STINK was killed. They were a Soldier. Camp Supply: Player List: This cycle will end on April 12th, at 9:00PM EST. Here's a timer
  19. And that's the cycle.
  20. Since it's come up in a couple of places, here's the order of actions. Order of Actions: Acid -> Stealing -> Chalk, Crab, Bribe, Lantern, and giving an item away -> Lynch -> Forgotten Kill and Gun -> Taking Items from the Supply As an aside: For the Thief to win, they need four unique items at the end of the cycle. That means if they die on the cycle where they gain their fourth item, they do not win, and the game continues.
  21. Since it's come up in a couple of PMs, I just want to make this clear. If the Thief wins, all other players lose. If the Thief wins on the same cycle that the Soldiers of the Forgotten win, they share the victory with that respective team.
  22. The town began arguing among itself over item stewardship. Sonofa hadn't safeguarded the Crab and Snip had made overtures about taking the gun. The town was ready to kill. Snip tried to remain quiet, meekly saying that once Huld had claimed the gun, he had backed off. On the other hand, Sonofa loudly protested their innocence. The town seemed split down the middle, until it was revealed that Joel had been bribed to remove his vote on Sonofa. The town wouldn't stand for that, and attacked Sonofa. Sonofa grimaced, but then hordes of Chalklings spew out from his mouth. The town managed to not lose anyone in the deluge, and a knife to the throat ended Sonofa's attack. Vote Count: Cadmium Compounder (2): Elandera, Arraenae Snipexe (2): Cadmium Compounder, STINK Cadmium Compounder was lynched. They were a Forgotten. Camp Supply: Player List: This cycle will end on April 10th, 9 PM EST. Here's a timer
  23. And that's the round.
