Break Tank 1: The Auction of Stories
Araris Valerian replied to Elbereth's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay wow. I'm guessing Ash got hit with a bid up or two? Gonna lean village there. With 3 elims, maybe 1 on each train? Voting Striker for now.- 345 replies

I feel like a bid of 1 is an elim play, they have a better feel than other players which items might go uncontested.- 345 replies

Between Karn and Bip, I would lean Karn being elim, but they both could be.

There will be 2 kills tonight and the elims probably have a decent chunk of vote manip, since 5 Zinc/Brass went missing last night. Also in my above comment I somehow forgot that Drake was actually attacked 2 cycles back. So yeah, I village read him for that because like I said, WGG doesn't make lots of sense on him.

Oh. That was referring to the Drake/Archer interactions, which you pointed out as being unlikely to be e/e, and I agree.

I’m not sure where I said that, but a WGG on Drake would certainly be very odd here, since I don’t think he was under much suspicion in the first place.

Please submit your rules to the committee so we can get the game up and running.

I was using my Bendalloy on Sequence, since I figured a decent chance of one of us getting attacked, and Drake had some of his own. The only thing that could block that is a Hazekiller. I brought this up with Kas in our PM, but there are decent odds that this is an effective LyLo. Assuming the elims will go into N5 with 2 Steel vials, a misexe today followed by a double NK means that we will be sitting at 5-4-1. Given that 5 vote manip vials were grabbed last night, the elims can probably hammer in that situation, which means that forgoing the NK sorta makes sense to deny information. I'm going to throw a placeholder vote on STINK (not really any reasoning, but I think this has been a low info game so far, so I'm treating this mostly like a D1). Edit: I don't think an elim!Hazekiller really makes sense here. Everyone knew I had Bendalloy, but if the elims weren't going to send in a kill, then roleblocking me just preserves my vial. So I'd strongly lean village on whoever blocked me.

Break Tank 1: The Auction of Stories
Araris Valerian replied to Elbereth's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Not yet sure if I'll be able to play this game, but I will if I can (hold on adding me to the list for now)! I'd say that some form of the Madashar Panda from LG 6 (I think) should be included, despite not actually being an item. It could be one of the bid actions due to it's corruption. The Smoking Gun from QF 7 comes to mind as a good kill item A Genealogy of Luthadel from LG 7 might work as a PM item, or as a Bid Down (via blackmail) Also from Twinborn Village, LG 11 Meta's Atium Bead, which allowed him to survive he most simultaneous kills ever (the actual number is disputed) would be a good protect Some of the Omens from LG 28 might work with various effects The first Stab Vote (TM) from LG 60 seems appropriate for a Bid Up item- 345 replies

Mid-Range Game 56: Day of Reckoning
Araris Valerian replied to |TJ|'s topic in Sanderson Elimination
Good game everyone! Might leave some more detailed comments, but I enjoyed this a lot. Thanks to @|TJ| for GMing, @Elandera for IMing, and congrats to @Devotary of Spontaneity for pulling of a SK victory! I also remembered why I stopped signing up for 2 games at once around 5 years ago .- 1557 replies

Well, I agree that Archer is the obvious choice here. But as our safety officer would say if he were here, we don't want to waste the opportunity for discussion even if we have a clear exe target. Having 3 extra village flips should help with that a bit, not to mention a soft-clear on Drake.

That wouldn’t be a bad assumption except for the fact that I explicitly stated that wasn’t what happened . There are Reasons(TM) that Hal, the player scanned N1, didn’t want to reveal themselves to the thread. Hal/Investigator had a decent read of me so figured me revealing would lower the risk. I am definitely unscanned, which means in theory I could be voted out. So the elims most certainly don’t need to eliminate me.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean here. I asked Drake if he was sitting on any elim scans, but that was both before I’d caught up on the thread and after Illwei had announced what was going on (I was a bit late to the party). Do you mean since then? Personally I’ve been rather distracted due to Friend Hal.
