  1. Yeah, but I'd say the elims are a bit less incentivized to kill said talkative players, since that won't get them to stop talking.
  2. I think that would be busted in a whole lot of new ways, to be honest. But, in response to @Orlok Tsubodai, this is probably a combination of post-AG numbers, the lack of flips, lots of mech things to discuss, and dead players sticking around. Definitely hasn't been the trend in the previous LGs I've played.
  3. Hmm, I guess we should consider that the elims put their teammates into that list deliberately in order to stop us from clearing a bunch of folks. So what sorts of players would they put into the limelight; those already suspected, or those that had the best chance of surviving several exes/NKs? Also, would an e!Confirmed Villager have joined the vote if possible? My guess is not, since the lack of flips means that the elims would end up losing that player and wasting their role, but I'm curious what others think. I like the post by Wizard. I think it's going to be hard to convince me not to vote for Shining next turn. Reminds me too much of an elim in my MU game.
  4. But I've already said in thread what it does like 5 times (which made me slightly confused when you asked in the first place). My impression is that elims tend to have better understanding of game mechanics and roles than the villagers, so such a tactic would probably just be confusing, and could get me exed for lying. I dunno, lying about roles isn't something that immediately jumps to the forefronts of everyone's mind .
  5. I receive back “X was Trolled” or “X was not Trolled”. Nothing about who the Troll is.
  6. Honestly Steel is the person I'm the most suspicious of right now (among those with votes), so I'll swap near the end to keep him as part of the tie if necessary. I can't really say I have a preference for either Sart or Biplet, but I don' have village reads on either of them.
  7. Okay, I think that makes sense. I'm now really curious about the number of alignment obfuscating roles there are in this game, but it seems likely that we'll get some level of info from this. Shining, Sart.
  8. Is there any reason we want to see Sart’s alignment over Shining’s?
  9. Wow. I guess I was making up for not winning an Oops award in the AG.
  10. Is there a particular reason we’d like to know Sart’s alignment over Shining’s?
  11. I’m not going to say any more about my role(s) or their effects, except to continue to claim my scan results. I’d say that you could exe me to learn more, except that wouldn’t work . And I guess I’ll vote Shining. Nothing wrong with banning self-proclaimed bots.
  12. I didn't make Book Troll immune, I just checked whether Book was Trolled or not. But I did target Book, so if someone was checking my target that should have showed up. I used the same action on TKN during N1 and also received a "not Trolled" result. The Fadran claim feels real to me. There is a legit chance that is an elim claim to throw us off, but I also think it's in Kas's MO to put a role like that in the game. Still, I suspect that most of the elims don't have that role, so we can still use scans for a POE, and then come back and re-evaluate everyone else when the game hasn't ended. There might be a corresponding version of that role for elims. Like "Aman is a Cook" or something that always scans as elim.
  13. I see the result; if someone was Trolled or Not Trolled. If I am Trolled, then scanning a Trolled person would return Not Trolled, and vice versa. All of which implies my action comes after Trolling in the OOA.
  14. Unless both he and myself were Trolled. Which seems a bit unlikely, though e!Archer would boost the odds a bit.
  15. My action is only a scan, and the result gets flipped if I’m trolled. So you getting blocked couldn’t have come from me. And only Archer knew for sure I had that scan (though my D1 claim could have keyed in the elims).
  16. Assuming nobody Trolled me, Bookwyrm wasn’t Trolled.
  17. I’d prefer to not be killed, and due to Trolling potential I’ll pass on protects, but there is no retaliatory aspect to my role.
  18. Um. I’m not the most chatty person, so they should be wary of said message dying off. But I’m in a PM already and neither of us has been banned, so I think that’s a good sign. There’s room for a couple more chairs on my porch .
  19. No, my role is more powerful! I refuse to make any guesses about the upper ceiling on power level of roles in this game, so I’ll just take your word for it. Honestly, the best part about my role is that it lets me chill on a porch and yell at folks.
  20. Yes, it does make sense, and IMO the other part of the role is quite powerful.
  21. A couple of things: I’ve re-evaluated again on Stick, I like how she was engaging with Danex toward the end of the cycle. Also, remember Kas’s chart on Xino’s activity; he’s gone inactive now 5/6 of his elim games. It’s easy to lose track of things in monster threads, but I don’t recall any(?) significant engagement from him so far.
  22. Anytime I end a day with at least one vote, one gets added to that total. Not sure how it interacts with the Lynchbait role, if that counts or not.
  23. I get one extra vote on myself if I get voted on at least once that turn. This part of the role is passive and always present.
