    Is this in response to me? Because Shining is dead, there are plenty of votes on both Sart and Steel, implying no clear consensus about whether the elim result was flipped by a Troll.

    The result on Steel was elim, so I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Edit: Except you already saw that, nevermind Edit 2: The problem is both Bip and I were set to scan Randby to see if he was Trolled. So any v!Steel theory has to account for the roleblock on Fadran, the Troll on Randby, and both Bip and myself failing our actions, via roleblock, Troll, or elimness

    So far the only thing we know they did is block Fadran. Or that Fadran is an elim himself. I will say I’m not sure why they’d block Fadran if they didn’t have a way to block the other things though. Barring e!Fadran. Hmm, maybe Ada is right about e!Drake.

    Why? As I understand it, Sart seems somewhat disengaged with the game (understandable, due to the mechanics), and hasn’t claimed (also understandable, given the claim meta from when he played more often). Is there something else I’m missing? Like, he doesn’t stand out as village, but I would think a red scan would be higher priority, unless you think the elims managed to foil it. Which as I outlined, would require either a decent amount of resources or one of myself/Fadran/Bip to be evil, in which case I would think you’d want to vote one of us.

    So you think the elims pulled off one of the scenarios I presented? Or do you think one of me/Fadran/Biplet is Elim? Or or you still trying to decide how your prior view on Steel weighs against the odds of the scan being tampered with?

    Yes, if Bip and I can both be neutralized, and e!Fadran accounts for an elim Troll.

    Well, I’m going to vote Steel then. I don’t see a plausible world in which the elims can: 1) Troll Randby 2) Block Fadran from Trolling Randby 3) Account for both myself and Biplet checking if Randby has been Trolled (in theory) I guess if both Fadran and Biplet are elims then this is bad? Fadran could have actually trolled Randby, Bip could have just not scanned, and if the elims have a RB or second Troll then they could have hit me. Another scenario is e!Bip but v!Fadran, which requires the elims to have a Troll and an extra RB, which is maybe less plausible, though it fits with my take on Fadran. I guess for completion’s sake v!Bip and e!Fadran is plausible, again the elims need a way to disrupt both myself and Bip from scanning here though. I will say, Fadran could just be an elim Troll and possibly Confirmed Villager doesn’t exist. Nobody has scanned him, right? Could be he’d just scan as red, but nobody has bothered because of the claim.

    @Ashbringer, I don’t think there is a ruling players are limited to 2 roles, is there? So players with 2 verified roles (such as myself) could still be Confirmed Villagers in theory. Also, just to check, there aren’t actually a bunch of World Cup themed roles, are there? Just the Goalkeeper so far as we know?

    So it seems reasonable either that Randby's scan was successful (Fadran is being truthful and failed to Troll, which implies Randby had Troll protection), or that Fadran is lying. In the e!Fadran world, he would have incentive to claim something here in order to Troll someone else, since presumably both Bip and myself are checking Randby's Troll status, and thus elims have no way to disrupt the village-favored outcome here. Except I still think Fadran is village, in part because I think the existence of the Confirmed Villager role suggests at least one villager would have that role so we would know our scans aren't entirely reliable. And IMO it makes a lot more sense for villager to claim that role than an elim.

    I forgot that I wouldn’t get back to my place until after rollover tonight, so I didn’t scan anyone. Sorry about that. Maybe I got the elims to waste a Troll on me anyways.

    There's another, less likely possibility; both Bookwyrm and I were Trolled. Archer knew what my ability was (and the elims could have guessed as well). Or Orlok just has the Confirmed Villager role. For whatever it's worth, I think Archer and Bip aren't teamed together, since I doubt the elims would have thought my claim was referring to Meme-Maker if they have their own. And I'll reiterate that I have a village read on Archer from my PM with him. I'm still pretty inclined toward Silho being elim. Biplet too, but not as much.

    @Ashbringer I guess it's public now that Meme Maker is my role that scans for Trolling, and Porch-Sitter is the one that added a vote and has an undisclosed powerful secondary effect.

    In his favor. My general take is that elims are more informed than villagers. The whole PM reads like he's a villager (or trying really hard to pocket me, I suppose).

    No, though he did share his results with me. He also didn't catch me being confused and thinking Randby was doing an alignment scan and not Bookwyrm.

    That' a good point. Since the invisible effects of Trolling tend to be alignment related, memeing folks wouldn't be super useful for the elims, unless I'm missing something. However, any role the elims start with is a role they know the village can have, and thus has some utility in that regard. Your other suggestion is a possibility as well, and perhaps likely, since the elims might want to know what my other role does that is useful.

    I think I'm cool with voting Biplet out. Like I said before, I'm leaning village on Archer. Shining is still on my radar as someone that escaped multiple exes and someone I'd consider voting today as well. Edit: That's kinda the flavor of the role

    So Archer can no longer be targeted by certain abilities. I don't entirely know what to think, but I previously had a village read on Archer for reaching out to me and identifying that my joke role claim wasn't entirely a joke. He indicated he had a chance to get an alignment scan and wanted to know if he was Trolled. I'm not sure an elim would bother doing that.

    Archer had asked me to check him for Trolling a previous Turn. Which seems kinda odd if he knew my action would fail.
