  1. Did you see my question? Did you specifically get a “Mat was Smoked” result, or just something that implied that result?
  2. Well, now we have a more narrow 50% chance it seems. This pretty strongly suggests InqWiz or Matquisitor. Edit: So the scan didn’t come back as vanilla/unsnapped? @The Wandering Wizard
  3. Well, I think there are several metals that would let Fifth survive an attack, so he’s kinda risky to go after. I’d like to hear what the results of Wiz’s scan were.
  4. It's making me a bit uncomfortable that the leading train has the two people I consider most likely to be the Inquisitor on it.
  5. Even though JNV is going to get filter-killed as is? Edit: @StrikerEZ, can you elaborate on how the Mistborn roles are distributed? Do you randomly generate a pair of metals, and then just reroll if you get the exact same pair as the previous cycle? Does have {Tin+Pewter} during C1 prevent {Tin+Pewter} for just C2, or for every future cycle? On a related note, my reread of the rules suggests that an elim could have the same metal every cycle of the game. The only thing that is forbidden is duplicating a pair of metals. So a lucky InqisiTKN could roll Tin 3 times in a row, but couldn't have the same pair in consecutive cycles.
  6. I am most definitely not down for a 3-way tie. This game has vote manip in it, and if we are a turn before exlo then sitting on a tie seems pretty silly. I would definitely like to hear from @Biplet, @Fifth Scholar, and @JNV. And @The Known Novel has been chilling way too comfortably. Like, we are in very immediate danger of losing this game, and there's not really any discussion going on. Do y'all agree with me that the Inquisitor is most likely in {Mat, TJ}? Think TKN got converted C1? Think JNV is an Inquisitor that pulled Pewter yesterday? (if so, does this have implications regarding the first votes on him?) I'm kinda at the end of my solving abilities since we really only have the D1 votes to go off of, and those were really only helpful if Fifth was elim. Also, can people elaborate on their elim Kas reads? Another relevant data point in my village read is that I asked him if e!him could send a conversion my way, and I feel like he would have obliged. Edit: I should also note that JNV is going to die regardless if he doesn't vote. So currently votes on him are a bit redundant.
  7. I mean, it’s standard Tyrian for the village to have some defensive stuff, and we don’t have a reliable alignment scanner. So I don’t think any particular comp is required, especially with the conversion. There’s no consistent v!Coinshot apparently, so they don’t need a Lurcher. I don’t actually have a village read on Aman. He could be an elim Thug. Or elim vanilla, though there don’t seem to be vanillas in this game aside from the unsnapped. But I think he’s only the inquisitor in an e!TKN world, which probably implies TKN was converted C1. And in this world, he did pull Pewter and is just trying to waste another exe today. I still haven’t answered your question, but I think Oracle/Seer/Smoker/Soother/Rioter all would fit a 2-person starting team. Honestly Seeker works too. A 3-person team would probably have 1-2 unsnapped, despite what everyone has been saying about theme. And I’m not sure if unsnapped have predetermined roles, but if they do I’d pick from the above list.
  8. I'm fairly sure that if we are concerned about impending exlo then we shouldn't be exeing probable villagers, especially when "testing scans" could be pointless in a world where the elims haven't converted. I had a good v!Kas read, so that's that. Wiz is off the table for me for the time being. We need to be looking at the most probable explanations right now, and the one that requires the fewest number of stars to align is that you or TJ is the Inquisitor. I'm currently leaning village on you, so I'm voting TJ.
  9. Why Wiz? It's pretty improbable that InqWiz rolled Seeker twice in a row, at least as I run the numbers.
  10. What about TKN's claim that Aman took no action? Also, I'm pretty sure the conversion has already happened. At this rate we're just going to exe all the village power roles and save the elims the bother.
  11. I'm going to vote on TJ right now. I'm sympathetic to the idea that the Inquisitor is hiding in the unsnapped claims, and so far don't have any reason to read him as village. Aman is, well, he's Aman. I have a healthy dose of skepticism about both of his roleclaims, in part because e!him could use them as a justification for not getting hit by a NK. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that JNV is village. Maybe this is wrong, but I don't think e!JNV would have claimed Thug there. Sounds like he was already busy with IRL stuff, so it would be easy to just pop in after surviving the exe to say that he didn't have a chance to post. Mat's also a potential Inquisitor, but I have a better village read on him than the other two. I have good reason to believe that Kas/Wiz, and by extension Bip, are not the Inquisitor. I also am doubting that InquisiTKN does his unsnapped thing with that timing. Fifth only works as Inquisitor if there is also an elim Mistborn, which I kinda doubt.
  12. I don't really think Kas started as elim. Him scanning me fits with v!him a lot, and like I said before, he was coming off pretty village in our PM. e!Seeker does make sense in that it can help the team line up a conversion, and is a role they can forgo later to send in the kill.
  13. Yeah, but not everyone claiming Unsnapped has to be actually Unsnapped. Not to mention the conversion. An original unSnapped could have been converted C1 but still know their condition and just claim that.
  14. In a world where the village has 2 lurchers, a Mistborn, and a Thug, it’s plausible that there were 3 starting elims. In which case we hit exlo next cycle regardless. Maybe JNV is just the Inquisitor though and everything will work out.
  15. I guess voting JNV makes some strategic sense. It kinda wastes the exe for today though.
  16. How? Again, we aren't in 92, I suspect action tracking is pretty limited this game. Not to mention that some roles are passive/don't have to be used every cycle.
  17. Guys. We aren't in 92 anymore. We can solve the game without mass claims. Not to mention that if the conversion hasn't happened yet, then y'all look tasty to convert and gave the rest of us a great excuse to exe you right after it happens.
  18. I suppose I should mention that Fifth could be the Inquisitor, it just requires his team to also have a Mistborn. Seems pretty unlikely, but it's technically an option.
  19. I have a village read on Kas, his line of reasoning in our PM feels very much like his village self.
  20. I'm going to switch from Stick to Mat. I was bouncing around the idea that e!Fifth might explain why nobody really lingered on the TKN train, but that claim supports my thought that there wasn't really any pressure on elims last cycle.
  21. That’s pretty long for a PM that involves me but not Kas .
