What about things just at the waste line? An ignored bladder can often prove troublesome.

Your body doesn't seem like it can agree with itself. Maybe you should try following your heart instead?

I do not find this entirely convincing, as it is more the area between the poles that would be diminished, not the sky itself. I still find it more likely for Taldain to be behind "the Expanse of the Broken Sky".

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

Thank you for contributing to my falling-off-the-chair counter. Up-vote for you in lieu of your friend -
The Terrismen during the Lord Ruler era just called them "Keepers". Also, during that time period, there was no Ferrings, so a full Feruchemist would just be a feruchemist.

Nahel Bonding Theory of Cognitivity and the Recreance
Aether replied to bartbug's topic in Stormlight Archive
I like your theory, but I have a problem with your last premise: First of all, we do not know for sure that the Recreance was the event that killed the Spren. We have strong reasons to assume so, but it is by no means certain at this point. Secondly, the people at Feverstone Keep was more confused and (initially) scared about what happened there. I doubt any of them really thought of it as a big betrayal - at least not at that time. They would be more as in "OMG! This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules IS HAPPENING?!", then "Oooo! Free Shards!" and then proceed to kill each other for them. -
Darkness is the dark-skinned character with a patch of pale white on his cheek that Elhokhar is speaking to in the Prologue of the Way of Kings. He is named and plays a predominant role in one of the released Interludes of the Words of Radiance, which can be found here if you do not mind spoilers.

Slightly (OK! Completely!) off-topic: Woah! Lady Feather! When did you become staff? Congratulations?! EDIT: Accidental question mark.

I just took a quick look at the article in its final form. I might drop in with some minor grammar later, but just in passing: You do link to the article "the Invasion of Arelon" in the introduction, but I would also link to it when it shows up a second time much further down on the page, under "the Restoration of Elantris". By then, they would have forgotten about the link higher up on the page.

I think there is reason to assume that you could store Breath in a Shawl where someone else has stores Breath, much in the same way that a Feruchemist can use someone else's metalmind. The Investiture would be stored in separate parts of the object without really interacting at all. I am not sure how this would work if one of them (or both!) tried to Awaken it as well.

I like to think of the essence of things as independent of the Three Realms which then "bleeds" into them to different degrees where it then takes the final form of (in this case) "Lift". In my example, she has a greater foothold in the CR without this in turn necessitating a lesser one in the PR. I doubt this is the way Brandon made it, but I find it to be a useful tool to avoid confusing myself by first thinking of things as independent of the Realms, and then about how the Realms affect/form them. This is slightly out of opic, though, as we seems to be more or less in agreement about the end result if not about the way we present/explain it. Though to reiterate, if we think of the Realms as "Gateways" to the essence of a person/thing, then I believe that Lift's Cognitive gateway has been opened slightly more than what is normal for a human (without in turn closing the P and S gateways). And now, I believe I might have succeeded in confusing you even further

First of all, Sazed did not "see" what happened to Ati. The whole argument was that "Ati was once a kind and generous man", but that the Shards Intent changed that. Sazed did not observe - or probably does not even know of - that change. He has only seen the end result. Also, the point about being a mortal no longer would presumably be true for all of the Shardholders, and really does not count in favour for Sazed specifically.

I am confused by the confused confusion...? xD Let us leave it at that. Anyway, I do not know if "imbalance" is the proper description. Lift has a presence in the Cognitive Realm that most people do not. Now that I think about it, I would not necessarily say she is more "balanced towards the CR", just that he she has a bigger presence there without having to be less in the PR to do that.

Question: Do you guys and gals think that Jasnah and Shallan will immediately discover what Kaladin is? How will they react to his? Or maybe even more importantly, how will Kaladin react to how two lighteyes he is supposed to protect suddenly know everything about his most intimate and private secret, and then most like them proceed to lecture him about it and order him to let them test him?
