I am curious as to how this is confirmation that the King owns several. While I think it is fairly likely, I do not see how this confirms it. Where is the plural?

Reviving a dead topic: Szeth's Shardblade is an Honourblade
Aether replied to Aether's topic in Stormlight Archive
Um, what? Where? Are you thinking about this one? If it is, then you might notice that at no point does he say that a Dawnshard is a type of Shardblade.- 128 replies

Reviving a dead topic: Szeth's Shardblade is an Honourblade
Aether replied to Aether's topic in Stormlight Archive
While not a 100% confirmation, as Shardlet has pointed out, I am just going to say that I (amongst others) totally called it!! WoR spoiler:- 128 replies

Vin is an Allomancer, not a Feruchemist. She can neither store, nor access, any feruchemically stored attribute. Two feruchemists, on the other hand, can store their own attributes in the same metalmind:

It ended then. The following era, the "Era of Solitude" is called as such because the humans are alone (no more heralds).

Somewhat of a boring answer, but at least you've just saved the life of a cat. Also, on a completely unrelated note, today's philosophical conundrum: can you save a life by just deciding not to kill it?)

Maybe you could try actually making a Catquisitor (with one eye spike) and then take a picture of him/her?

But the spikes! Where are they?!

I do not want to resuscitate the debate on whether or not there were Cadmium/Bendalloy Mistings (unknown to themselves and others) in the Final Empire, but I am pretty sure the WoB we have on that was only concerning what type of Allomancers the Mists were snapping, not snapping in general.

Believe it or not, but that was actually an honest mistake. I never intended to skew the vote on our favour (at that particular time, that is). I do not really mind others doing the count if I'm not around for a while. I'll be keeping my eye up for everyone trying to usurp my count next time, though, as I should be around for that! @Shiv: Could you change your vote for Bartbug? I know it's not an official vote, but it could potentially set off the mob-rule anti-mob-rule measures we discussed earlier.

This is incorrect. Dalinar gave the shards he won to Elhokar so that he could in turn bestow them on some champion of the war-effort. Adolin's Shards were inherited from his mother's side, which it says right on the first page of chapter 12.

Which makes the annotation next to perfect! Just slip in an "R" for Rosharan, or "N" for Selish or something. 1173 EoS would then become the rather stylish 1173 ARC. Admittedly, Scadrial and Sel would pose a problem, as AScC and ASeR feel a bit forced. EDIT: Second thoughts, that latter one was acutally pretty neat!

So my suggested Arbitrary Calendar has been effectively shot down? I feel sad.

Um, technically an Inquisitor could only have Allomantic abilities? Feruchemy, yes, but it would be rather inane to give him abilities that no one knows about or knows how work. I interpreted the "X abilities" as him having a given number of Allomantically charged spikes, dependent on how many players there were. I suppose he could have an Atium spike, or something, but then again, why give him an unknown power?

I am not sure there would be one for Diplomacy, though, as that should fall in under the direct responsibility if the King. There could be one for scholarship, though, or at least some variant of training and schooling erudites.

While he disagreed with Fnord's arguments, Aether could identify with his proclaimed sense of uselessness. "Maybe a list could cheer you up? I always make one when I feel down," he had tentatively walked up to the man, who was rather talkative and visible for a self-proclaimed master of stealth. "What kind of list would you like me to compose? Maybe one of Kelsier's deeds and miracles?"

There should be one for the Law as well, which may or may not be for both the police and the Courts.

@Claincy: I would agree with you for all other rounds than the first round. It gives the Seeker an opportuniy to find at least one clean villager, which helps. And if everyone votes to kill no one, even with Emotional Allomancy, he won't be able to garner two votes for anyone, as he has to cancel out his own vote to do so. @Wilson: I've read through the roles. Unless he's actively using his coppercloud ability (if he even has one) on someone, then he cannot mess with the Seeker's ability to seek. EDIT: Fnord does have a point though. Even with emotional Allomancy, the Inquisitor cannot kill anyone on his own, but if even one villager votes for someone, then the Inquisitor can get a villager killed for free. So as a contingency plan, I suggest that everyone votes for the next person who votes for someone (without an extremely good reason) - as long as they refuse to change their vote to "no one". May the Survivor make it so that no one does.

I realise that it might seem useless and time consuming, but (s)he needs all the time (s)he can get. Last game was lost largely because the Spiked got to the Seeker (or rather, we sicked the villagers on him) before he could do anything at all. And the chance of getting the Inquisitor is so minuscule that it really is better to not risk giving him dead Mistings to feed on. With the Survivor as my witness, I vote to kill no one today. Pardon me. I didn't notice.

I think it would be better not to kill anyone the first day, for the various reasons as mentioned in the posts above. In addition, this gives the Seeker some extra time to start building his alliance. And just to be clear, I find that the Seeker's (or Seekers') job is to scan random villagers, and if they prove to be clean, include them into their ring(s) of trusted villagers. Of course, these could be converted at a later time, but it should still be the safer way to go. Survivor willing, (s)he'll find a nice Allomancer at the first try. EDIT: Claincy, you forgot to add the hidden message!

It would be nice if you could come up with a place-holder name for the calendar. I nominate my own suggested Arbitrary Calendar, which has the benefit of giving a neat AC contraction: 1173 AC!
