If Everyone were to upvote all of Brandon's posts...
bartbug replied to Baine's topic in General Brandon Discussion
OVER 9000!!!!!!! But seriously, he would have a ton. Unfortunately, I think I've already upvoted all of his posts. -
@Edgedancer: I honestly do not want to crawl through the posts to find the exact location. However, when I initially started the game, I was a Hallandren Awakener with 3 Breaths. I promptly gave those to Aonar. Given how much Breaths the Pahn Kahl would have needed in order to create an Awakened Sword, without using my 3 Breaths (which were given t, we deduced that it was extremely unlikely that Claincy gave the Pahn Kahl that many Breaths. Of course, you guys haven't proved me innocent. Just mostly. Nice to see that I'm off people's radar.

(Slightly) off topic, but when I read the title, "Meet the Moderators", the TF2 theme song came on... bududbudubududu Bah bah Bwaha! Anyone? Anyone? ... Bueller? http://www.teamfortress.com/movies.php (These are what you reminded me of. If you haven't watched them, take an hour from your day to do it. They're mildly hilarious. Maybe PG-13 in content, though.)

...And Brandon has basically answered this question, when he was asked whether Kaladin or Kelsier would win. It would still be Kelsier, because he's the one who can sneak up on his sleeping opponent and slit his throat.

More on what hoser says, I believe that since the Desolation is here, the Skybreakers will become actual Knights Radiant again, and Szeth will have to offer his service to Kaladin or Dalinar (depending on which one ends up being the actual leader) as a Skybreaker.

I won't vote for anyone first, because I don't have an idea of who's suspicious. However, using logic, we have basically proved me innocent. Aonar can vouch for me.

Meaning of Primary vs. Secondary Divine Attributes?
bartbug replied to Confused's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think this could be related very much to the "soft magic" aspect of the system, such as Kaladin's spear prowess or Shallan's Memories. Have an upvote, good sah. -
There you go again, Claincy, taking the fun out of everything...
-
I'd like to see your "control". Do you actually have the codes, or do you just know who holds them?
-
And not only are you outnumbered, but we have Codes and an Awakened Sword. Heh heh heh...
-
I could say that you could interpret Dalinar as destroying them, or Szeth. It really depends on the "we" is.
-
I'd much rather be Mistborn, but in terms of social structure, Returned is pretty obviously higher. I mean, god vs assassin.
-
I think it would go Returned, Highprince, Elantrian, Shardbearer, Mistborn. Then from least worst to worst worst, Kandra, Drab, Bridgeman, Drab, Ska, Shaod, Lifeless.

cool guys don't look at explosions. Clearly, you have nailed this aspect of life.

I'm pretty sure that Elantris is more like thousands of years before Final Empire.

Elo. The whole concept of Breath really works in the favor of the villagers, methinks. As soon as we find one trustworthy individual, we can float enough of it down the line to that person, giving us a fantastic advantage.
-
We must change that. I've heard that upvotes are almost as popular as flowers at funerals, now days...
-
Wait... wut? So did our awesome killer get Peng using Awakening Codes? Does that mean -dare I say it- that a Hallendren just got two kills per night? Mmm.... me gusta. And another Pk down.

(A little bit of warning: I'm Mormon, and therefore, more than a little bit a prude). When you dropped the f-bombs, it kind of threw me off. For purely marketing reasons, unless you want other explicit content (sex, really crazy violence), I'd recommend getting rid of them. It sends off a really strong vibe that may not be what you want. That being said, I really appreciate you getting them out early. One of the things that I passionately hated (I still love the book) about The Wise Man's Fear was how, without warning, it upped the content from The Name of the Wind from PG-13 to R. The sex, the fiddlers f-bomb, all of those things felt more than a little out of left field. So: If your book is going to be this type of book, then by all means, keep it. I may end up reading it, depending on how much it goes. But make sure to keep it in mind.

I'm still doubtful of whether or not it's an honest to goodness Shardpool. Maybe it could be related to a Splinter, but it doesn't seem quite right yet. Of course, I'll probably end up eating my words, but as you can see, they are delicious.

Gosh darn it Peter... Not you too!
