    First time around i had already read secret history but not stormlight, so scadrial and roshar were a loss to me. Sixth of the dusk and shadows for silence bored me first time, idk why they are great now. White Sand was cool.

    When i said “pure” desire, i misspoke. A better word would be “raw” desire. This can be morally good, but is often morally bad. Those desires are filtered by behavioral filters, and our identity as a good or bad person is based on the ways we decide to act by what principles we choose to filter our desires with. Or at least that’s how I interpret my behavior. That’s a really cool way of looking at it. I think we’re describing basically the same thing. Our identity and behavior is based on who we choose to be.

    Uhhh, that’s a view i choose to look at it as two things, a soul and pure desire at the center of THE MYSTICAL ONION OF REASONING AND PERSONALITY which filters those things and presents them to the outside world but the idea that we are all nothing in the middle doesn’t make a lot of sense. And at that point, wouldn’t the layers, these masks that are not our identity, be more valuable than who we actually are?

    Endomorphisis I don’t feel happy i dont feel sad for long i dont want to be angry doesnt mean my feelings are wrong i choose to be happy, though I feel like im lying its okay to feel sorrow but im done with forever dying Souls Why do we think? Why do we feel? Why do we write poetry? My dog sits her head on my lap. Asks to be scratched behind the ear. My dog does not lie awake at night, Wondering if she will go to heaven or hell. If a dog wrote a poem, Would I still have a soul? Art There was evening, There was morning, There was day. Words, out of nothing, create worlds. Inside, feeling, Inside, warring, What to say? Worlds, out of something, create words.

    *hugs* It’s definitely hard, I can empathize with internalizing mental health issues, and also knowing you have a problem but not fixing it. Except for me I have sought out help and kind of ignored it.

    We really don’t know a lot about angels or demons, to be honest. I don’t see why there would necessarily be a family structure in there, there could be but if there is it’s not important enough for us to know about it as it’s never really mentioned in the Bible, or at least not in my Bible. It’s not like the function of angels is important to my salvation or my interactions with others. I think maybe somewhere in the Bible it warns against pursuing demonology, and I know that in Revelation it mentions not to worship angels. Just in general, they are God’s messengers, created around the same time as Heaven, and aren’t necessary to the Christian faith, not on earth at least.

    I agree. I will hold off on voting this round, im not fully convinced, but the only person that jumps out to me as suspicious is Star for now.
