  1. Uh, I would be interested in spectating, just to get a feel for how the game works. Will probably practice roleplay communication as a spectator for no other reason that to improve character writing. edit: after noticing the above RP text block, the Inkspren I got stuck with started pestering me into writing a character, so I’m establishing myself as Rahakel, an Elsecaller imprisoned by some hostile spren in Shadesmar, watching the intrigue to pass the boredom. Hopefully this isn’t completely impossible or pointless as a spectator. Very, very excited to discover Sanderson themed Werewolf.
  2. No like I agree. Lezadin, I pronounce as “lunacy”
  3. Hope I’m not bothering anyone, [title]. have a great day!
  4. Uh, bad title So, a few weeks/months/years ago (someone is burning cadmium in my house I swear) I made a post asking for clarification on why Dalinar didn’t just try and evacuate humanity from Roshar, leaving the singers and Odium behind. One of the reasons given, aside from it being more boring than eagles to Mordor, was that apparently a being invested by a shard can’t leave the system that that shard inhabits, at least that was what impression I came off of. I’m pretty sure Mraize mentions something like this in Rhythm of War when talking to Shallan about trying to get Stormlight out of the Rosharan system, but I’m not entirely sure. tldr: uneducated bs fan says something that probably not true Anyways, my question is: If Cultivation has left Roshar, what effects might that have on Lift, a being directly invested by her? I assume she hasn’t been just ripped from Roshar to some other system, but does this affect her powers? Just curious what implications there are of this.
  5. Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Also highlights the problem of low technological development on Scadrial, then. As powerful as Allomancy is, I bet a Mistborn would have trouble with even one Radiant, depending of course on which order and ideal.
  6. yeah that’s why I called it an eagles to Mordor thing, something that seems better than the plot but is actually stupid. Thanks for helping!
  7. Wow! Thanks for explaining! Serious dedication in that response!
  8. Thanks! My bad, I’m new here. Have a great New Year’s!
  9. Yeah, again, less realistic to get humanity off planet, and would kind of make for a less cool book, but still. Would be interesting if the plot revolved around trying to exploit that loophole to keep Odium trapped AND protect the humans on Roahar by smuggling them out of the system. Then again, by Wind And Truth, there are more than a few Radiants who can access Shadesmar. Just move to Sel, or Nalthis, or Scadrial.
  10. This might be a “why didn’t the eagles fly the ring to Mordor” situation, but why didn’t Dalinar just leave Odium on Roshar and take as much of humanity as possible with him when it became apparent he couldn’t beat Odium? Too hard to travel through Shadesmar/get off planet, weird oath stuff that wouldn’t keep Odium trapped, etc?
