    Has anyone heard if whispersync will be available for this book from the get go or If it will take time to get that functionality working? I bought my ebook as a Kindle for the first time for this book to see if whispersync is any good, now I realize it's not necessarily available for every ebook audiobook combo.

    Yeah it's 48.5 hours. This still really cracked me up.

    Hahahaha. They updated the preorder page for WoR on Audible again and now its 291 hours long! That's 12 days, WOW.

    I know, I'm a really big GRRM fan but I don't remember being this hyped up after a 6 year wait for aDWD. (granted there were a ton of podcasts out at the time obsessing for me so I could listen to those and it was like a release valve)

    Man, I've envisioned this last week being an easy one because I know that it's coming soon. But with you guys ramping up the hype it's torture.

    damnation me for pre-ordering thru B&N, they don't ship until the release date, But I couldn't pass up the no frills signed edition. Ohh well I'll stick to my old plan. Re reading the preview chapters Monday and dl-ing the ebook at midnight, binging all night. Luckily I'm off Tuesday for unrelated reasons. . Here's to being a zombie!

    I know. But even if Kaladin does WoT around a bit in this book. It's one book and he has a justifiable reason to be suspicious of others. It at least seems like by the end of WoR there's more understanding and hopefully lack of talking isn't a thing that becomes a series hallmark (like WoT).

    The thought of Kaladin being a secret Kholin is the thing I want least in the world for SA. This whole series (to me at least so far) has a core theme of the ridiculousness of nobility and points big fingers at the ways and justifications people implement to subjugate or enslave others. I like the Kholinars a lot, but to make Kaladin a secret Kholinar, thus making everyone who is a burgeoning KR protagonist of Noble blood rings so false to me. Kaladin is perfect because he is a darkeye, because he has struggled under that oppression. The Idea of him gaining lighteyes thru KR-hood and how that will effect him is interesting to me, but to learn that Dalinar whelped a bastard on some darkeyed woman... No thanks, I'll be so disappointed.

    I've never heard any Alethi referred to as just "Prince" . Could Elhokar be dead along with his son making Dalinar king? I doubt it. Someone is mocking him or being overly polite.
