  1. A young man walked over and sat at and empty table not far from Alden. Giving him a sidelong glance, he looked to see if he'd be worth talking to. His purposefully slumped posture suggested arrogance and affluence, but he was clearly deeply interested in whatever was going on. He was a little younger than Alden himself; likely somewhere in hie early twenties, and obviously from one of the Great Houses given his curt dismissal of the other, older gentleman. However, his clothes, while clean and fashionable, were most definitely not the best that money could buy, placing him somewhere lower on the food chain. Likely Urbain, maybe Haught or Buvidas. Hmm... probably not worth my time. Even Lord Urbain himself didn't hold any particular influence over the greater Houses, and Alden wasn't going to deal with a haughty brat for a dodgy chance at an advantage. Had he been a Lekal, an Elariel or someone else higher up, maybe it would've been worth it. If there was one thing you learned quickly in Alden's trade, it was what contracts weren't worth pursuing. Alden sighed, swirling the wine in his glass absentmindedly. It was terrible timing, coming back to Luthadel when he had. If he'd just been able to spend a few more days in the Remote Dominance, he might have missed this whole fiasco in it's entirety. House Heron, summoning all the Great Houses, ally and enemy alike, to a ball meant that something big must be happening. Even though they weren't a Great House themselves, even a Venture would think twice before denying a summons from House Heron. It was said that Lord Heron had some sort of hold over the Obligators. All that anyone knew for sure was that no one could make a trade deal in Luthadel if Heron didn't want them to. More and more people were slowly filing in and taking seats as the ball began, of major and minor Houses alike. It appeared that Alden wasn't the only person Lord Heron had asked to come personally. Hopefully Heron had a good reason to call this many nobles together. Put too many Luthadel nobles in a room together, and someone was was bound to get hurt. Here's a player List as of now: (I may or may not keep this updated.) Players: 1. Kassel Erikell (Kasimir) 2. Tonul Venture (Tulir) 3. Alden Izenry (AonarFaileas) 4. Fien Urbain (Gamma Fiend) 5. Asyr Tuy (a smart guy) 6. Jain Araragi Phantomhive (Lightsworn Panda) 7. Hyrun Tormander (The Only Joe) 8. Ashette Cett (Ashiok) 9. Hadrian Penrod (Araris Valerian) 10. Kaldin Fathvell (Kal Dell) 11. Finch Fain (LeftInch) 12. Quitania Elariel née Raisaal (Quitecontrary) 13. Wandrin Nuvidas (New One) 14. Racine Morinthe (twelthrootoftwo) 15. Sylinia Seeris (Theorymaker) 16. Cadri Raisaal (Shivertongue) 17. Mesist A'Lees (Metacognition) 18. Mailu Willen (Mailliw73) 19. Ren Gardre (Renegade) 20. Jae Kastner (Jaerle) 21. Cat Lekal (Lukat)
  2. Alden Izenry, at your service. While not overly important himself, he manages mines and plantations in the far reaches of the Final Empire for House Izenry, and often makes deals with the Great Houses to oversee projects that are farther afield. Due the amount of time Alden spends travelling, he also often acts has a clandestine courier for members of the Great Houses. Of course, he is at least a little more important than he looks, seeing how he was summoned to a meeting involving several of the most powerful families in Luthadel. This is going to be a very interesting Game, I think.
  3. Pfft. Liar. We know you're not a Viewer, and we strongly suspect that you're an Aiel-Blooded. You Darkfriends really aren't being all that fun, are you? Leas stalked through the town, trying to organize the last-minute defences. The new arrival's stunt with Khamsi had bought them a little time, but not much more than a few minutes. Seeing Trimat ranting about his, "Viewings," to a few of the townspeople, Leas fought as hard as he could not to draw his sword then and there. Even with the emptiness of the Void, it was a struggle. Instead, cuffed him over the head, sending the man sprawling in the dirt. "Can someone chain this one up? And please make sure he doesn't get out again? We have enough problems as it is." "I'll do it, sir." Walking over, Douza set down a small cloth-wrapped bundle. "This is what we collected from the cellar underneath Dellan's house. It took a while to find it underneath the rubble, but this is everything of interest." "Thank you," Leas said, nodding a dismissal. Unwrapping the bundle, he was a little put out by how little there was. A few trinkets of unusual make; probably ter'angreal, but not knowing what they did, they couldn't risk using them, if any of them could even be used by a non-channeller. One Heron-marked sword, most likely Mayor Twim's. It was Power-wrought, and far finer than any modern weapon, but it was still just a blade. Reaching down to pick up the sword, he saw a rod made from twisted red stone, half-hidden underneath it. Something about the object felt... wrong. The other ter'angreal may as well have been children's toys for all Leas knew, but this was somehow different. Whatever it was, however, he wasn't going to mess with it. Strapping on Twim's sword, Leas wrapped the ter'angreal back up, looking to see if he could spot the newcomer. While Gambles didn't seem to have any control over the One Power himself, that collar gave him some control over Khamsi. Hopefully something here would be useful to hold off the trollocs for a little longer. Sorry about the lack of RP, Gamma. I can't speak for anyone else, but things are a touch busy on my end. Plus, I can't write fight scenes worth crem. I've been working on that, (and writing in general) but I'm not super confident with it. So I'll confine myself to the lulls between charges, I guess.
  4. The thing is, atium really doesn't help TLR. He can't see flows. Sure, TLR can move really fast, and he's really strong (although not quite so much as I think you're suggesting. While compounding is extremely powerful, the laws of physics still apply. He moves to fast, or gains too much muscle, he breaks every bone in his body. Plus, if our current understanding of compounding is correct, he can't compound and burn at the same time. He can tap and burn, but not compound). All atium would show him is Rand, standing around, not doing much of anything. Then, a second later, TLR finds himself immobilized, and then get's his head chopped off with a Deathgate. To do what you've described, TLR would have to get within a couple yards of Rand first. That's simply not going to happen. Duralumin/atium (which we still don't really know how works) would only show him his own demise, I think.
  5. Honestly, Rand is in a whole different weight class from TLR. Rashek can heal insanely well, and see the immediate future with electrum/atium. Rand can warp reality. Say for a moment that Rand won't use any of his more destructive Weaves. I have two weaves for you: Hands of Air, and Deathgates.TLR can't heal if he's not in contact with his metalminds. Instantaneous decapitation is something not even TLR can deal with. The only thing Rashek can do that would even be able to touch Rand would be Rioting/Soothing, but I don't know if Rioting/Soothing is the greatest thing when your target is already marginally insane. If we assume that TLR disrupts weaves because of his Investiture, (Which I really don't think would be the case, given that Vin was still able to affect him. Albeit with the power of a god, but you can't say Rand is really that far down the food chain.) then it's still be a stalemate. Rashek wouldn't be able to touch Rand, and Rand wouldn't be able to kill Rashek. In the end, my bet would be on Rand, no question.
  6. In my experience, it's much more fun to troll people than to pretend that you're innocent, Shiv, but if that's how you want to play it, fine. You're dead today whatever happens. I can't really think of any half decent RP right now so just a vote from me. Khamsi.
  7. So Khamsi is lynched tomorrow, Trimat is lynched twice in the following cycles (if my guess is right), and, so long as there aren't five Darkfriends, the game should wrap up nicely. Leas thought that he should have felt some happiness, some grim satisfaction at least, at the execution of Mayor Twim's killer, and likely the one who had murdered several of his friends as well. In reality, he didn't feel much of anything. Maybe it was spending to much time in the Void, maybe it was the far too timely arrival of the trollocs, but he found himself empty. He just wanted to get this over with, and get as far away as possible from this Blighted village, hopefully without being killed by trollocs. It was too bad that fool of a Mayor had decided on a whim that they could only lynch one suspected Darkfirend each day. Some-or-other nonsense about "fair play." Pshaw. Darkfriends aren't going to fight fair; why should we? If Leas had thought there was any way the Darkfriends could actually kill Witless, there was no way under the Light he would have ended up Mayor. Ah well. I suppose I should be starting my shift on the palisade. There weren't really enough people to properly man the palisade, and there definitely weren't enough to do that and maintain a guard on the Darkfriends, but it was best to keep up appearances. So long as the trollocs thought they had a half decent defence, they might hesitate to attack. It was a good thing that trollocs weren't known for being overly bright. Burn that Mayor. If it's been up to him, he'd have hung them all two days ago and been done with it. They probably wouldn't have had any better chance of holding off the trollocs, but at least they wouldn't feel quite so hopeless. Sorry Wilson, but I was trying to find a valid reason for not just hanging all our suspects at once, and you did name yourself the town fool. You've now officially graduated to the level of Medium Awareness.
  8. Not exactly. If I understand Kas' win conditions correctly, the Villagers effectively auto-lose if they do that. The Crew doesn't have to kill every player. Just the Agent. When you have a Conman role, and add the possibility for the Lawkeeper to switch sides, there's really no way for the Agent of Harmony to abuse their info. I'd personally hate to have that role. All that power, and no way to effectively use it without revealing myself... it'd be torture.
  9. That's pretty well what I expected the DFs to do. We can't 100% confirm Dellan as the Forsaken now, but I still feel fairly confident. For strategic reasons, I'll vote Witless for Mayor, to give us the best possible chance of winning if Dellan isn't the Forsaken. Newan: It's a process of logical deduction. We decided early on that there were most likely only four DFs, and what has happened so far has supported this. (I won't say it's absolutely true, however. Last time I made a definite guess about enemy resources in one of these games, it lead me to catch three of them while being completely and utterly wrong. ) Bunnt turned out to be a Regular. Ashiok cannot be the Forsaken, seeing how Shiv tried really hard to get him lynched as he was going inactive. Even an inactive Forsaken is better than a dead one. Shiv could be the Forsaken, as he was important enough to have been Masked on night Three, but he claimed Aiel-Blooded. Obviously that's untrue, since he wouldn't have tried nearly so hard to save himself were this the case. However, there seems to be no reason to claim Aiel-Blooded, unless he could back it up somehow, and it seems rather redundant seeing how the Forsaken is automatically Masked if they don't make a kill. That leads me to believe that he is the Channeller. Important and fragile enough to avoid a lynching, but still logical if they're claiming Aiel-Blooded. That leaves Dellan, who has done nothing to preclude his role as the Forsaken. He hasn't done a ton to suggest it either, but I feel the most confident about him, of all our suspects.
  10. I'm not sure that this tied voting is really a good thing. I don't have any solid info yet, but a tie will not help us here. It'll help us even less than it would in a full-size game. We're dead in five days. We don't have any roles we need to protect. If we stall here, we learn less, and we gain nothing from it. We aren't protecting potentially useful roles, and we still die at the end of Week Five. If we make a lynch vote here, whether it's a mis-lynch or not, we gain the initiative. ...I also really don't want to throw a last-minute lynch vote for Jene, because then everybody would probably kill me. And it seems I won't have to. Thanks Newan. So, let's go with... Ratel, just because no one's voted for you yet.
  11. I am playing more aggressively. A lot more aggressively. You don't get much time in a quick-fix. We have (most likely) three Mutineers. Maybe four, but that would be rather bad for us. That means, in a worst-case scenario (with three Mutineers), we're all dead in five cycles. That's less than a week, real time. We need to gather a lot of info, and we need to do it fast. I like to plan, that's true. I like to analyse things rather extensively. But we can't afford to do that here. I've already learned several things, and the majority are direct consequences of my vote for Maill. I never intended for it to be permanent, I just wanted to gather information, and I believe I've done that. (I already have a mess of blue and orange arrows on my diagram, anyway. ) I made a vote, and several people responded. All of you responded largely as I would have predicted. That tells me things. Just with this little bit of discussion, we're already better off going forward. If I end up lynched today (I don't think it's likely, but you never know), that's fine. Just make sure you do something with the information. (By the way Meta, if by chance I don't get on in time to re-vote, does a vote and retraction still count for a coin?)
  12. Right, so this QF is, stylistically, fairly close to the first one. And our biggest mistake there was waiting too long before we started acting decisively. We don't have much info to go on, but we can't let the Mutineers control the game. It'll be a little harder for them with the public votes, but the sooner things get rolling, the better. And it looks like Maill's already done that. Merciful Domi... Aonar watched in horror as Dreok dispatched the mutineer with a brutal efficiency. Trying as best he could not to rush to the gunwale and empty his guts into the ocean, he made his way to the back of the crowd. He was hoping to put some distance between himself and the crew, seeing how they were already looking for another to be killed. It hadn't even taken an hour before one of them -Mai, Aonar thought his name was- called for someone named Jene to be lynched. No honour among thieves, I suppose. Chuckling inwardly at his own joke, he was struck with a feeling of disgust. A man just died; it seemed like another would be joining him soon, and Aonar was making puns. Not even good ones. He shook his head, once more fighting with a sudden nausea. Whatever was going to happen, one thing was clear. He needed to get off this ship. The sooner the better. While it was good to get things going early Maill, and Peng's first question is a little suspicious, there's no way I can let a vote made within the first hour after role PMs were sent out stand completely unchallenged.
  13. Huh. I'd kept a record of all the messages in a Word doc on my computer, but that one isn't on there for some reason. So, nevermind that then. (Sorry Shiv) That doesn't really change anything in regards to the suspected Darkfriends though, other than reducing the likelihood of an information leak. I agree with Dellan as a Fanging target though. Khamsi is unlikely to be the Forsaken, and there's no reason why the Darkfriends would try to get their Forsaken lynched, so Dellan's our best option.
  14. I can see it being done, but it wouldn't be easy. Shiv was careful enough to pretend to miss a few parts of the system (parts that we weren't exactly consistent on), but he couldn't have deduced a letter we didn't use (our code isn't exactly logical, if you haven't noticed). Someone gave that to him. It's true that they wouldn't reveal that they knew our code if it put one of their own in danger... unless their Forsaken is already in danger. I'm feeling pretty confident now about Dellan. Shiv is just trying to mess with our heads to change our lynching target, I think. This has been their game the whole time; holding back information to reveal as soon as we come to a conclusion. We decided Trimat was a Darkfriend, they used info from Bunnt to dress him up as a Viewer. We decided on Khamsi, they take advantage of Trimat's inactivity to name him a fraud. We now decide on Dellan as the Forsaken, they reveal a leak. They've been baiting us, leading us around in circle by presenting targets to move our focus away from the bigger players. ...I fully expect to be thoroughly proven wrong next cycle, but this is the idea I'm sticking to.
  15. Storm it, Shiv. Who gave you the code? I know you didn't break it. (You made a small mistake. We haven't used the letter Z in any of our messages yet. You used the word puzzle. Right in the bit where you implied you broke the code, ironically enough.) This really isn't helping your case, but it is extremely annoying. Wes was the only person who never contributed to our decision to lynch Bunnt, but he can't have used Water on you. Wilson was privy to info that could have made things much more difficult for us much earlier on. The only person I can't account for is Jerric, but he hasn't acted especially suspicious. Whatever you say though Shiv, I still stand by my assessment that you're the Channeller Darkfriend. It's the only thing that makes sense. Bunnt's guilt kind of sort of proved that you, Dellan and Trimat are Darkfriends. ...Egads. Now I'm worried someone in our inner circle is the Forsaken, and the good side is screwed. Very nicely done, Shiv.

A few had offered to cut him down and bury him, but he and Waes had told them to leave Bunnt where he hung. Bunnt didn't deserve a burial. His body would be left as a message for the other Darkfriends. Their time was coming, and it wouldn't take long. He'd put a rotating guard over Trimat, Khamsi and Dellan as they determined how best to deal with them, but seeing how there were two Channellers in their midst, that wasn't likely to hold them long. If only we could tell which was which... The diagram on his table had shown him the connections between the Darkfriends, but not what they could do. Khamsi had the most ties to the other Darkfriends, and was obviously the mastermind, but power over the True Source didn't necessarily make one a leader. Trimat connected Bunnt to Khamsi, and he was the most obvious suspect, but the strongest evidence against him relied on information that was freely given out by Khamsi, and backed by Dellan. If Trimat were truly important to the group's structure, there's no way they would purposefully make him more suspicious. That left Dellan. He was directly connected to the deaths of Malai and Senna and tied to Khamsi, making him an clear choice for a Darkfriend. However, the evidence for him was more subjective, and had claimed abilities that couldn't be proven if he didn't want them to. He, of all of them, seemed to have been covered the most carefully. It wasn't concrete proof, but were Leas a betting man, he would've put good odds on Dellan being the Forsaken. He sighed and turned away from his contemplation of Bunnt's corpse, heading home to get some sleep before doing his own time on guard duty.
  17. Blight. Almost! We're probably all dead now, but at least we were partially right. Anyway, nice write up Gamma. So, Trimat, Dellan or Khamsi, any of you feel like telling us which one of you is the Forsaken? 7247733014121770721220132582562582731110257247
  18. 251273138212173022251470542032452510544637107225821517174711503912403230292913138212 Well then. I guess our decision has been made, though with far less certainty than I would like. I know you don't want to come forward, but that really doesn't tell us much. Leas sat and listened to the Viewer's report. It was halting and not overly clear, but that was understandable seeing how circumstance had forced them to give their findings somewhere where anyone could be listening in. It seemed as if Trimat wasn't a Viewer or the Forsaken, although he couldn't be certain from the Viewer's rather cryptic responses. Bunnt it was then. At this point, the knowledge gave him little joy. Too many friends had died for that. He found himself almost constantly immersed in the Void just to continue functioning. There was nothing left to do but go out, present his evidence, and hope to the Creator that he was right. So, on to that presenting of evidence. As I have no idea how you'd go about trying to transfer something like my diagram to this site, I'm just going to make a List. Let's start with Trimat, out first real suspect. (These are all connected, so some of the evidence for Trimat may tie in to evidence for Bunnt, Khamsi or Dellan, and vice versa) Near the beginning of the game, Kaim, Bunnt and Gade were in a PM group. After Gade's death, they invited Trimat. Due to Trimat's inconsistent behaviour in the conversation, Kaim became suspicious of him, and shared his suspicions with Wilson, Wes, Bunnt and myself. Kaim died the following night, suggesting that one of those four were Darkfriends along with Trimat. As the game continued, Trimat's behaviour remained erratic, eventually leading to him being accused. He proceeded to tell Rishi, Wilson and I that he was a Viewer and had Viewed Kaim and I. However, neither of these Viewings could be confirmed, as Kaim was dead, and several suspicious people knew my role at this point. When Khamsi was called out, he claimed that Trimat had Viewed him, rather than Kaim. Trimat corroborated, saying that he had Viewed Khamsi, Sprell and myself, but, once again, none of these could be confirmed. Our second suspect is Khamsi: Khamsi was one of the very last people to reveal her role to one of the Council members. She never did reveal that she knew of Dellan's role as Wisdom, or Trimat's claimed role as Viewer, despite how crucial those roles are if they are on the good side. On Night Three, Khamsi was Viewed by a trusted Viewer as "unsuccessful," and despite being attacked by Senna, no mention was made of it in the write-up. This would only be possible if she were targeted by a Channeller's Water weave on that night. As Wes Fireballed Sprell that night, we know it could not have been him. Khamsi's claimed role is Aiel-Blooded, a role that isn't important enough to garner immediate suspicion, and one that can be easily faked by a Channeller with Earth. The most certain suspect is Dellan: When pressured, Dellan claimed to have revealed his role to Khamsi, who is already suspicious for the above reasons. Later, when Khamsi had come under suspicion, I asked him his role and he requested verification that I was proven innocent. I game him six names, six players who could say without a doubt that I have the role I claim. Two of those people, Malai and Senna, died the following night. While others knew of their roles, Dellan was the only player to find out in the right time-frame for the kills. The final, most tenuous, but potentially most dangerous suspect is Bunnt. He is only really suspicious because of how others have acted. Kaim's death, and Trimat's ability to claim to be a Viewer, both hinge on information that only Bunnt was privy to. As I have already mentioned, Kaim became suspicious of Trimat quite early in the game. He shared these suspicions with Bunnt, Wilson Wes and I. Bunnt was most likely unaware of who Kaim had contacted, so killing Kaim to quiet him before Trimat came under fire would have been logical. Trimat theoretically Viewed Khamsi, Sprell and I, and also once claimed to have Viewed Kaim. Only one of those results can't be explained by his nature as a Darkfriend. Since then, he hasn't bothered reporting Viewing results, so I feel it safe to assume that he isn't really a Viewer. Now, there are three people who could have given Trimat my role. Wes, Wilson and Bunnt. Wes has been proven an innocent. Wilson, although unproven, is unlikely a Darkfriend. That leaves Bunnt. So, yeah. There it is. All our reasoning, laid out in a reasonable amount of depth. I'll allow you to make your own decisions from here, but the Forsaken is unlikely to be Dellan or Khamsi, but quite likely to be Bunnt or Trimat. I feel more confident in Bunnt, myself. Edit: Vote List: Khamsi (1): Dragon's Fang Bunnt (2): Nath, Leas Edit 2: You are free to defend yourselves, you know. You're not helping your case by staying silent.
  19. Aonar is a recent graduate of the Svordish University, and he really has no idea why he's on a pirate ship. All he knows is that on the night of his graduation, he imbibed rather a bit too much wine in a dockside tavern. The next morning, Aonar found himself sleeping in a hammock on a pirate vessel bound for Teod, with a blinding headache, no memory of how he got there, and no possessions save his rapier and a few books. As he understands it, the events in between somehow involved a woman, a Derethi Priest, two dogs, a stuffed swordfish, and an impromptu, drunken fencing match. After hearing a rough description of the misadventure from one of the crew members, he decided that some things were most definitely not worth remembering, and that he would never consume that much alcohol again. Whatever had happened, Aonar now seemed to be a part of Dreok's crew, so he figured he may as well make the best of it. One way or another, the current game is going to be over soon, so why not?

We have almost enough info to do something decisive. The last bit of info we need belongs to our Viewer, whom we can no longer contact privately. As such, we've decided that making the Viewer public is worth the info they have. So, Viewer, could you please tell us your results? Leas sighed, rubbing his eyes as he tried to focus on the mess of papers spread out on his table. He was tired already after burying Ralv and Lam, and he hadn't gotten near enough sleep last night. Everything seemed to point at either Trimat or Bunnt as the leader of the Darkfriends. He just needed to know which. He pushed his chair back from the table and stood, feeling all his muscles protesting the effort. His table was a ruin, dozens of lines and words carved in to it, connecting twenty-five pieces of paper; one for each person who had stayed behind to protect Drell's Crossing. Four of those names were connected to more people than anyone else. And one name connected all four of those: Trimat, the manure seller. He was the lynchpin, reinforcing the connection between Dellan and Khamsi, and connecting Bunnt to the rest of the group; explaining Kaim's death and how Trimat was able to fake being a Viewer. Seeing how Khamsi had demonstrated the powers of a Channeller, despite claiming otherwise, and Dellan was the only person who could have been responsible for the deaths of Malai and Senna, Leas thought it fairly damning evidence. Unfortunately, the one thing his analysis couldn't predict was who the Forsaken was, the original murderer of Mayor Twim. Hopefully the real Viewer doesn't take too long to report their findings. If Trimat is one of the Forsaken, then he won't be able to hide. I actually do have a diagram similar to the one I've described here (on my computer, not scratched into my table ). It's been rather useful. I'm thinking it's going to become something I make for every game form here on out. A good part of our evidence is mentioned in this RP, though not outlined in great detail. We know (or really hope we know, anyway) that Trimat, Khamsi, Bunnt and Dellan are DFs. We just need to figure out which is which. If anyone has any input on that, it would be much appreciated.
  21. Well, the Researcher role needs some way to privately tell other people what he's learned, so at the very least he needs to be able to send PMs. However, one wrong move on his part (or a really lucky one on Hoid's part) would reveal him that way, so you'll either need to let everyone send PMs, or make a new role, so that the Researcher isn't too obvious. You could run it with no PMs, but that would make things rather difficult for the Researchers/Team Good. Anyone who starts making guesses that are a little too good is going to come under fire from Hoid and his Converts, so the Researcher would have to play so carefully they may as well be useless, unless they get incredibly lucky.
  22. Goodness Jerric. I just finished decoding the last bunch. This is in response to the last couple, if what you just wrote changes anything, well I'll respond after I decode it. 549032121711122072138273103732733710213283472147172930 33821717122250548013258273566054463750491312121317707253477313821340 2147821332531322255325207247832982259083222512132512128049563212178330 72295347451049385013474720128332157037272083121290823970253727608317531230824110 25133273801212762550121245254510532160762582721282112037387380 1773118213702147831712253083295347734590723820338353137032568310 7339825037271017174721121330822590373873601332121773456054394025372720 83175312507372477072388072295347454049381032294912903727605612211280543740831217221213 Malai and the two Viewers (well, one really, seeing how Trimat's most likely a fake) all verified me, so I really have nothing to say about myself, other than give out my role, which almost everyone knows anyway. The DFs know, and the trusted players know, so the only people who don't are are Douza and Newan, I believe. I'm a Regular Villager. No powers for me. So, where do we stand? We can still communicate privately (sort of), we've confirmed all four DFs (sort of) and now we (almost) have enough info that the villagers are guaranteed a win. That's not bad. We know the Forsaken must be Trimat or Bunnt. One will be Forsaken, the other will be vanilla. We just have to figure out who's who. My personal bet is on Bunnt, because even an inactive Forsaken is better than a dead one for team evil. Edit, in response to Jerric: 2129291425478317121560543021124112171720252790 214782131453132225532540544637101212828314175037277017141245
  23. Ha, good luck with that. Every town within 200 Km of where I am cancelled or postponed their fireworks due to rain. In it's simplest form, it's basically the Canadian version of Independence Day in the States. It celebrates the day Canada officially became it's own country, rather than a collection of British colonies. (Sort of. It's a little more complicated than that, but that's the gist of it.)
  24. I strongly dislike what I am about to do, but I find myself with no other choice. On the subject of the lynching today, my opinion rather differs from Wilson's. I believe that the Darkfriends are simply playing upon our fears of a framing and mislynch; then going on to scapegoat the soon-to-be-inactive Trimat to further their own ends. But I digress. It has been pointed out to me that whether or not Khamsi or my other main suspects are Darkfriends, they cannot be the Forsaken. As such, it is more practical to vote for one who could hold this role. Seeing how it is extremely late into the day, we have no time to debate who most likely holds this role, and I find myself forced to vote Grimlar. I apologize Grey, if we are wrong. This is all out of character rather than RP, as Leas as I've written him would never change his vote at this point. I'll have you know though, Khamsi, Trimat, I am still watching you. Neither of you are off the hook by any means.
  25. For the first time in four days, Leas felt like he was doing something useful. It had taken far too long, and far too many had died to bring it about, but the people of Drell's Crossing weren't beyond hope, not yet. Easing his sword from its sheath, he walked into the ruined inn, followed by Waes, Erik, Newan, Ralv and Witless. Finding a place to stand on the singed and splintered remains of the the bar, he turned to face the small crowd that had gathered with Grimlar's accusations. So few of us now... at least we can finally begin to avenge those who have fallen. Entering the Void, he waited for everyone's attention. "Khamsi, once owner of the Golden Waffle, Mayor of Drell's Crossing, come forward!" From her place near Grimlar at the back of the crowd, Khamsi made her way to stand at the front, looking unsure of what was going on. "Last night, our newly departed Wolfsister, Senna, decided that she no longer trusted our good Mayor. I would not be surprised if she took it upon herself to try and kill Khamsi. Yet, here she stands, perfectly unharmed, while Senna is dead, a knife in her back. Then, our Viewer, who was trying to confirm Khamsi’s claims of being Aiel-Blooded, found her powers strangely blocked. Is that a coincidence? I think not.” Leas paused a moment, allowing his words to sink in. "There are very few powers that could defeat a Wolfsister and cloud a Viewer’s sight. However, we know that the Darkfriends have access to a very powerful Channeler, the same Channeler who killed Kaim.” As he continued to speak, he slowly leveled his sword at Khamsi. "Khamsi of Arad Doman, I name you Darkfriend, Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah! What do you have to say in your defence?" Have fun with that. ; ) All of our strongest reasons for suspecting Khamsi are in the RP above. There is more, but it's less definitive. As Khamsi will no longer be living to fulfill her role a Mayor, I suggest we instate Waes in her place.
