    Gonna be experimenting with internet consumption. Depending on how this goes, either nothing will change or I could remove the browser on my computer entirely. We’ll see.

    I’ll still be here, on the Shard, for the time being. Don't worry, you won't be rid of me that easily! ;)

    As for why, the attached video explains it pretty handily.

    Ooh, do tell how it is when you ink it up! I've got a vintage Esterbrook nib + adapter lying around somewhere, waiting for me to finally get around to buying an Estie.

    Same. I've got a couple #5s, and they're fine, but I like the reach and (usually higher) bounciness of the larger nibs. Probably the case, yes. I've got an Apica notebook currently, which is delightful but not quite as feather-proof as Tomoe.

    Certainly it's pocketable, though I think it's actually a full-sized pen! (Going by photos from one review, it's the same size as a Montegrappa Extra.) I don't often take fountains out with me, nor do I usually have occasion to write longhand away from my desk, though, so we'll see how it ends up being used. (Yes, it's gorgeous, isn't it? And I went for the orange section. Looked surprisingly nice against the green, I must say.)

The Pura looks really good to me, maybe come Christmas I'll see if any are still in stock...) @Cyclops Not gonna lie, that shark pen is actually really cute. Glad you're enjoying the Clairefontaine, they're pretty good! Have you tried the Nebula yet? I've considered getting one before, so I'm curious. As for me...uh, I think my New Year's resolution is gonna be "block all the pen websites" because I swung by Karas Kustoms and five minutes later ended up with a Vertex Aqua Regia. Help.

    Indeed! I need to let it soak a bit more before I decide on favorites, but I really like Monday, Wrecked, and Follow You in addition to those. Cutthroat...not a fan, really. Too heavy for my tastes. (Come to think of it, I think all of their albums have had one like that.) While I'm here I'll mention another artist: Joe Hisaishi! At this point I think he's one of my all-time favorite film composers. His album Encore has been keeping me company lately, with gems like Summer and Ashitaka and San. It's hard to explain; his music just has this way of getting inside your heart and tugging all the right strings and I absolutely love it.

    So, Imagine Dragons' new album is pretty good! So far, at least. I'm only halfway through. Don't think it'll oust Smoke + Mirrors as my favorite, but I like it so far!

    I'ma recommend two things real quick. They...couldn't be more different, really, but who cares not me

    First and most obvious: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Ho-ly storms is this a good movie. I mean, it's Marvel, so that's a given, but still. They did real good with this one.

    Second, if you're at all interested in manga or comics, give We Never Learn a shot! It's complete, so you don't have to worry about waiting. It's also heartwarming and hilarious and I lost count of how many times it made me teary-eyed. (And the author is a gentleman and a scholar who wrote five different endings so each character could have their happy ending. And yes, each one of them made me cry.)

    IT IS SOOOO GOOOOOD. I went in with pretty much no expectations at all and came out with a contender for favorite movie of the year. I was hooked from nearly the first moment: the fight dance between Xu Wenwu and Ying Li was absolutely breathtaking, visually and musically, and it just kept going. The architecture and scenery! The creatures! The choreography and score, the plot and the humor! Everything passed with flying colors, with only a few exceptions IMHO. The actors pretty much knocked it out of the park. Please pardon the incoherent gushing. The post-movie high is strong with this one.

    Nothing compares to the high of a show you loved finishing with a satisfying ending.

    And nothing compares to the pain of knowing that it came out ten years ago and you'll never get a season 2.
