It would be nice to meet you people in-game, but I´m from Europe, so I do not see that happen as Europe and US are still separated after the mega server update as I understand it. I do not have the time to play a lot, but I get on now and then at least.

I have not read the WoK prelude for a while so I might be wrong, but could it not be that Seth sucked in the stormlight that leaked from the plate when it was cracked and not drawing the stormlight directly from the plate?

I seem to remember a WoB where it was stated that it is in theory possible for a Parshendi to make become a Radiant, but that it it have not happend. I felt that there was a implicit "yet" in that quote. Quotes: Edit: What i meant is that by explicitly saying that it did not happen historically he can dissauade us from believing it without actually saying that it cannot happen.

The ideals of Nalans order is just and confident. And if Darkness is Nalan as is commonly held as true, then it seems like his actions is a perversion those ideals. Just would imply that it would be more important to find criminals with worse crimes that Lift's. And not just because because she is a surgebinder. A common theory that is held as true by most on this forum is that Shallash is Baxils mistress from the interlude in WoK. Her ideals are Creativity and honesty. IF the theory are true, she is destroying art and especially art that picures herself. This too seems like a perversion of her ideals. This is the reason that looking for a herald in the books often is done by finding someone that i acting as a perversion/opposite of the choosen heralds ideals. Edit: Also, in WoR prolouge the one person supposed to be Nalan and another person (probably herald) talk about shallash getting worse and themselves do not feel like worse. One says that they were not supposed to get worse. Edit2: This quote from ann death quote also supports the Shallash theory:

I do not think it was a duel. " I punched a lot of pepole today" sounds like a brawl or something. Fistfighting with a couple of other pepole for some reason.

My copy at amazon.de has status Shipping soon and it have been that way for the last two days. I just hope that they send it soon so that i get it by the 6:th at least.

Did Dalinar really give up his shard blade?

I do not think that the borrower could summon and banish the blade in battle. I think that the owner just will the blade to not vanish when he hands it over to the borrower and that the borrower has to keep the blade in his hands the whole time until he is finished with it. -

I started to think of Gaz. It does not fit well with pepole he murdered but things in the shadows match well with things lurking in shadows from his viewpoint in WoK.
