Shardlet is very correct on that its the all these little snippets and ideas that come from the steelhunt that make it unbearable to be without a code. I have been able to read a lot of things that makes it possible to guess some more and reconstruct a part of what is in the steelhunt. And then you want more, you want details! It is very frustrating.

Hi! Is there any way I can get the timestamps on the site in 24 hour format? Im not used to PM and AM. I can figure it out, but it takes some time every time for me.

Ooh! The first reading was very interesting to hear i must say! But i am somewhat worried about what Ym said about his thoughts of the Cosmere. it may not be accurate of the real cosmere, or really i hope not, because that sounds very much like how the world in Raymond Feist's works is revealed to work. And that worries me.

Very interesting! This added part suggests to me that Seth's blade actually could be a Honorblade. The two people speaking are speaking of something they did long ago, and they are speaking of someone getting worse which the/some Heralds have become( Destroying art and so on). I'm convinced that they are heralds and that they talk about the blade Seth carries.

I have actually been reading it as Calmity util reading this post. It sounded strage, but id did not see the difference in spelling. I feel a little stupid now =P But I'm not a native English speaker, and haven't event heard the word before, so its probably not so strange for me to get it wrong.

Prof says at the end of the book somewhere that he has to keep it distributed to the reconers. When he gives the power to David so that he can heal it he seems to feel better and not have to fight the urge to be bad as much as before. This leads me to think that it actually would be a problem if he had all of his powers even when not actively using them.

I think actually that we need to make a distinction between illusions and invisibility. Invisibility is the ability to make something invisible. Illusions is to make things that are not there, including making it seem that there is nothing there. David makes a difference between them, Diffractionary had Class C illusion and Class B personal invisibility. She could make herself invisible almost perfectly but her illusions had their tellsigns. They are different powers. I think that FIrefight/Megan just has "ordinary" illusions of a high Class.

I was reading that section just a minute ago, its in chapter 25 (ive got e-book so i do not know the real page. This also suggests to me that an Epic actually is able to know their weakness, but that it takes time for them before they realize.
-
As it is shown when Nightwielders weakness is proven, some epics can feel when their weakness is engaged and their power fails. It could be used to realize what the weakness is.

I really liked it! Was disappointed that the book was over so fast. I'm usually really crappy at guessing twists before they are revealed. From reading above it seems that I missed some things but I did guess the following. Prof. Being an epic guessed after his fight to save David and Megan. He had such control! At that point I thought that he had done research on himself to create the tensors. When conflux told them that gifting epics wasn't possible I realized the truth. I suspected Megan of being an epic when we were told she could not use tensors or the other things. Then I forgot about it. When she died I felt that she could not, she was not finished... When we were told of the limits on gifting I became sure, she had to come back! I never suspected what she could do or who she really was. When it comes to steelheart, I really thought that the crossfire would work. Edit: Stupid auto correct

Yes, that sounds plausible.

I do not have the book at the moment so I cannot look for it, but that is how I remember it. It could have something to do with that after Harding was defeated the chalklings needed to be let out of the "boxes" before they actually could reform to human form. To me that suggested that multiple chalklings were put together as one person. As I said, this is from memory, so I cannot confirm what I remember.
-
As I understood it one person was "converted" into multiple chalklings and that there was a need for these same chalklings to meet to "convert" back to human form.

I think I have seen a theory a lot like this before but not completely alike. I have a problem with Endowment being physical, or more specifically with breath being a physical focus. Breath is a part of your soul and the soul is spiritual so following your reasoning I think Endowment should be spiritual in nature.

In TWoK Hoid mentions to Kaladin that he was named after a rock that became worthless by him wearing it. This is somewhat a parallel to Rock's name.

I think that they "won" the desolation, (battle) and is tricked that it is the last battle and that they have defeated them for the last time. They think they have won the war, but they only won a battle. There will come a new desolation, and they are not prepared.

I think it was Taffa (Heb's aka Dalinar's wife) who used Three Gods as a curse.

Regarding to why the Recreance is seen as the betrayal by the KR. When the KR left their shards at Feverstone keep there was chaos with a lot of people killed over them. I imagine that as they spread through the world that there would be even more chaos over who is to be in possession of the shards. The KR is blamed because they leaving the shards caused the event of lots of shardblades in the wrong hands.- 52 replies

Very true! Why didn't I think of that?

This thread contains links to all WoR readings. Edit: fixing the link.

I have seen theories of that, bur have it been confirmed?

I can't take credit for this idea. It was Zen at Stormlight Archive Reread that came up with it and I just wanted to take the discussion here. http://www.tor.com/blogs/2013/06/the-way-of-kings-reread-chapters-16-and-17#355750 If Shallan did draw a picture of Kaladin, would syl be on it? I'm looking forward to the situation as it could potentially be the event that causes them to start working together and start searching for others with abilities. I also think that it could happen quite soon after Shallan comes to the shattered plains as they will probably meet quite soon due to the close relationship between Dalinar and Jasnah. Kaladin should be quite a novelty as a darkened captain responsible for Dalinars guard and also with command over a whole battalion and should be an early target for Shallans Drawing. Shallans abilities could be the thing that could make it possible to fast find enough knight radians before the desolation destroys everything.

And that is the version I have of course =) I have never understood why Brandon (or any other author) releases the same book from different publishers.
