Gamma: Sounds like a good plan! In terms of Illumination, I mostly think that the list Wurum have done would be leading for trying to find the eliminator(s). I think Kaladen or Quismet could be a good choice, Kaladen, since he has posted comments but not more two times since becoming less inactive and Quismet because she has been semi active. In terms of lynching, It's mostly the same list in my mind, but I do not really suspect one over the others.

Ok, not much have happened here this cycle. Let's try with some more motivation... So Lyce do you have anything to say about this? Edit: Retracted
-
I'm with twelfth on this one, I do not think that hitting you makes it more likely that it is one of the inactive,. Not that the opposite is true either. When I got on today and saw that the votes had started to pile on, I started to doubt what I had started, but it seems that I once again found voted for a henchman. I'll just have to trust myself more from now on. I really hope that we can keep this up, I'm not sure that we can, but let's hope! Wurum's list looks good to me. What do you have to say for yourselves? Edit: And I'm so relieved that I was allowed to post the message, I was scared that you would lynch me when I saw the reactions to my summary of them. I'm also glad I voted right the first cycle, otherwise, I might just have been done.

So, I thought that it would be best if I did a small Vote tally for this cycle. Aladdin (2) : Rulit, Gart Naihar (1): Wurum, Aladdin Mallaw (1): Wurum Jain (1): Serji Twlv (2): Naihar Edit: Kaladen(1): I was actually surprised that there are two votes on Aladdin, since it was at the beginning of the circle. I'm not sure if I trust Aladdin per se, but I think he has answered both your questions. And I do find myself trusting him more because he pointed out that Metam's vote was not counted. Both Rulit and Gart has been pretty quiet, and not added much to the discussion, and now voted for Aladdin without removing it when he answered. I find that suspicious. I have to go now for a while, but I will be back soon and think some more on this. Edit: I do agree that Jain has posted each cycle, but not contributing anything else than a Vote tally once, and a lot of RP. And that is suspicious, but also not really a great surprise. Twlv has been online today, so he should have been able to pop in and say something, it is true as Naihar says that he has been a lot more active in earlier games. We still have 8 persons who we haven't got a track of messages for yet, so tell us if you have received a message signed by someone. I think this is a good opportunity to find narrow the field on one of the eliminators. Although we should not focus only on that. For the moment, Rulit, It seems to me that you have posted comments on writeup results, Vote tallies without commenting on them. It seems to me that you often post at a little too convenient time to be able to post without having to say much about the discussion. Or for example to Vote meta just after him confessing. Do you have any comments on this?

We aren't supposed to edit parts of posts that were posted before. Just add your new text after your earlier. Edit: Like this.

Hmm, and here I thought that we had a foolproof choice between me and another (I would have preferred not being involved, but still) =/ I was just going to check the order one last time before posting and voting... So Gamma, you are not confirming that Aladdin sent you a message? Because now when you brought up the order, we are down to counting messages again. Edit: correcting bad english...
-
The message: “Well, Metam was right about one thing, I am the Truthwatcher. I didn't, however, scan him, I instead scanned you. I am sending this because obviously I found out that you are a villager, and I don't want to reveal myself. Most people will be sending messages to Wurum, so this one will probably get through to you. I may contact you in the future if I scan an Eliminator, but good luck on surviving the game. -Aladdin(3869)” Message I sent to Wurum: "(784) Hi! This is mostly to try to make sure that any sensitive message sent to you isn't stolen. But I really hope that you are alive to get it. I added a sequence number in case of further messages. Kind Regards Binnut"
-
It would have been a bad coincidence for you, if you are telling the truth that is... One thing that made me doubt it being you and being someone else was that there were no verification method enclosed. You have used them before as have been evident in thread, but why not now? I had a theory that Gamma could have sent it, but wanted to use someone else's name, but that message is accounted for as it seems. The most likely just SO missinformation in the works. Edit: This is apparently not going my way... I did also send you a message, and it was signed, could be a spam one with signature fallen away, id (784). Or a reverse lashing in the works.
-
Could Gamma confirm that? (at least the presence of a message signed from him.) The thing is that I received a message signed with Aladdin claiming that he was the Truthwatcher. Claiming to have scanned me, and sending the message to me instead of to Wurum because no one would guess it. If Gamma can confirm, then this is simply missinformation. Otherwise, I'm actually suspecting Aladdin even though he was first on accusing Meta. Edit: Wyrm: Ash's vote is not in red, I guess he didn’t have computer access. He wrote it as red:Meta or something.
-
I would like to ask Alladin if he cares to tell us who he sent his message to this turn. Or rather if he sent it to me or not. And it could be helpful if someone else could step in and verify that if he sent to you, if possible. I actually got my first message today, and there is something that doesn't’t add up in it.
-
So, people, who do you find suspicious except Meta? Or Meta too for that matter if you haven't said anything about it. I'm a little suspicious of Maill because he ignored the thing about Meta completely.
-
Wyrm, I really hope there is a Squire that can save you! As to why you were hit. I do not think a Random experienced scenario as very unlikely, I would put you among the top five most experienced (or well playing)players in this game (as I see it), and Meta being the most experienced makes it probable(?) that he is protected. That's 1/4, and its probably one eliminator among them. So, anyway, about 1/4 OR 1/3 chance of you being hit because of that reason. We should still investigate the other solutions, but we should be aware of that it is not that improbable that this is the case. (And really unlucky) I do agree that the scenario for Illumination of Meta is a good one, if we can find someone that we are more suspicious of. The problem is that I have a hard time to do that.
-
This is hard! I trust that someone would tell us if Meta isn't in a Squire, or that it haven’t come up about the message in the doc. Provided that this is true, Meta really must have been hit with both full lashing and recruitment. Regarding the message, we cannot ever verify if it arrived or not that is just trusting Meta’s word or not. Let's say that all of this is true, there is also the possibility that a squire did the full/reverse lashing, so there is no requirement of the Windrunner's failing in communication even if that could be the case too. Meta was probably targeted by all these because he is the most experienced in these games, and both threat if evil and beneficial if good. All of this is a description of the situation, but all that really matters is: Do we believe that the SBs would use only one kill? or did the full lashing on Meta cancel it? What we could do is to verify if Meta has got any new lashing. Sadly, this could only be done by the squires, and only for the full lashing. And only if there are no evil squire with a full lashing. A lot of chance in this so it is probably not a good action either. And it might reveal other squires.
-
Jain, you are missing that recruitment was possible the first cycle too, so by now, we have max 4 squires, 2 of them had the ability to use lashings last cycle.
-
I want to point out that the Skybreakers cannot use a Full lashing. This makes the whole thing even less likely to be a ploy by them. I will wait for an answer from Meta, but I will probably vote for him if things aren't explained.
-
Well, that was lucky! One random lynch being a henchman, and no deaths! I'm actually not completely happy about that vote because of that he had reasons still. I had gone to bed when Maill presented it. At the time of the vote, I wanted to create a tie, because the vote on luckat was still there even after posting, and Jeno had been reading the topic. Anyway, it did turn out for the best, but I feel a little guilty still. About messages, I have recieved none and sent two this far. Now, time to analyze thread... Edit: Meta, how do you mean the attempt to get you lynched work? A reverse lashing would not remove your vote, and we do actually have one missing kill. The only way I can see it work is if we got one evil squire with full lashing, and the sky breakers gave up one kill for it. Not very probable I think, and hard to plan for. It could be a Windrunner who targeted you with a full lashing and the sky breakers did not use their kill for other reasons. It is possible that you was hit with both an reverse and a full lashing.

I will admit that I have posts in number, but not in content. I find it hard to find much that is suspicious at the moment, so I have mostly taken it upon myself to try to try to get people to at least post something. I have just one note on that subject, and then I'll leave it. Jeno was reading the Topic when I posted last, and now he is offline again. Anyway, the whole thing with QC. I find the accusations reasonable, and the defense so can't really make up my mind. When it comes to Serji, I find myself more trusting than regarding most others because of the effort he put into the message system. I can confess to being one of the persons that messaged Gamma, It was mostly because I wanted to contact one of the experienced, and because I had some contact with in the Darkfriend doc when he was GM. I do find it strange that some of the Experienced players did not receive any Messages and am wondering if one are lying, but what I do not know is why they would, since there is no gain to them as I see it, and a great risk of someone claiming that it is a lie. I'm not sure if we should lynch someone or not right now, but if we do... I think Jeno is the top of my list in that case, since he has had he has been on this topic. He could at least left a notice of not having time to read it all. I guess that I'm gonna even it out by voting Jeno, so that someone else can decide in target in case you want to lynch someone. Good night guys!

About Kaladen and Jeno, they do have valid stated reasons for being inactive, but they have been online earlier today. I will not vote for them because of that, but I would very much like to hear from them since they actually have been online.
-
Oh, I had no memory of that, but you're right! Kaladen. Sorry guys! Edit: Punctuation.
-
Jerric, are you possibly in the Computer science field? Much of that is very similar to the Communication security I know. I will probably try the message system, but I will probably use simpler (crude) ways if I just think I will send one message. I did not realize that Jeno already had a vote because he haven't posted this cycle. He has been online by now though, But reading this through takes (some) time, so it is very possible that he haven't had time to read it yet. Both Lyce and Kaladen has also been online this morning (forum time), so they also have been able to post something. Kaladen and Jeno were actually online about the same time. It is quite possible that QC was doing the same and then posted, but I will assume that is not it for a while. That said, I voted Jeno to try to get him to answer, that did not work. But let's try some more... I'm reytracting Jeno, for a while, and ask Kaladen if he has anything to say. Edit: I would still like to hear from Jeno. Edit: retracted.
-
Just to see if there is an reaction. Jeno, do you have anything to contribute with? Edit: Grammar. Edit2: Retracted

I sent mine to Gamma mostly because I wanted to contact one of the experienced players. (and I thought Meta would get his messages stolen) I'll remedy that this turn...

There is always one final detail that prevents a plan for finding the Skybreakers using messages when I try. There has been close ones a couple of times, but there is always something at the end that breaks it all. The problem I see with using it as limited PM's to one person is that there will probably be multiple persons trying to start one with the same person, and the contacted person will only have one message to send back the net turn. But if we specify who should be communicating with who in thread, then the Skybreakers can tell if the Truthwatcher or WIndrunners need to contact someone else. (If they are paired...) On a similar note, Did we need to be scared of people snatching messages this turn? I have assumed so this far, but I just realized that it may not be the case.

Tunnib was confused. He was certain that the Skybreakers was the reason for him being here but why? Had someone made sure to get him there so that he could help against them? Or to make sure that the Skybreakers made the process short with him? Not that they would be able to cause him any trouble! In any case, it was probably best to lay low for a while, and see how things turned out. Maybe finding an ally or to ride this out with, unless his job became apparent of course!
-
Tunnib sat in a bad mood in his corner of the inn, not even the drink was giving him much satisfaction anymore. How long was he supposed to sit here? Had his employer changed his mind? He had almost decided to go to bed and then go back to his employer to check when one of the pretty serving maids came to his table and sat down in front of him. He knew himself well enough to regcognice that he wasn't a really social fellow and that it wasn't his charming way that had made her walk his way. Regardless, engaging with a pretty girl could be just what he needed now, so he nodded thankfully to the smiling innkeeper and turned to the girl, admired her and started to talk with her. Maybe he'd postpone leaving for a while...
