    I was just in spanish class, thinking about Cosmere stuff, when I realized that Forgery can be used as a power source. First, you build something that looks like this You want to attach the lighter Soulstamp last, after stamping the wood directly below it. Your machine will change so you built it like this. The metal part scrapes off the original, while the darker Soulstamp hits a different part of the machine. The string pulls the crank and generates power. Meanwhile, the machine thinks you built it like this. That will repeat the cycle, and you now have free energy. What other magic systems can be exploited in this way? Are there any actually good power sources?

    If you could make a soulstamp that works on shades, you could potentially get even closer. Metalminds storing Identity, Connection, etc. would also possibly be helpful

    Might as well have the sleeping crew filling tin, zinc, iron, pewter, and maybe brass. All of those could plausibly help them hibernate more effectively. My real question is, what happens when they develop savantism from storing/tapping these attributes for so long?

    This WoB suggests that a forged metal would be viable for Allomancy, but burning the metal is destructive to it and would destroy the stamp. What if you were to do this with Feruchemy? Would the attribute stay stored in the metal, even though it's no longer the right type? Could you get a two attribute metalmind this way? What about Hemalurgy?
