Wait, are they canon ?

Ok, so does it only bother me that no time is dedicated to even a mention of Kaladin's parents and brother when he decides to become a herald ? No one but him and the other heralds (and Syl) know that he's actually alive, everyone else will believe him actually dead. To be clear I'm not opposed to him becoming a herald, but he doesn't spare a thought to anyone at all possibly grieving him. That feels like an oversight to me. I hope this will be adressed in Books 6-10.

When Shallan draws Taravangian, she draws a lot of cryptics. It's because he lies so much, so they are very interested.

Well it's not a typo I suppose, but I feel like this sentence does not make grammatical sense. "what they wer" what ? I suppose it's what they were doing

Hello I was reading The Way of Kings on my phone earlier today, and tried to zoom in on a Shallan's writing in one of the illustrations, but the text was blurry. To make sure, I found a similar one in Rhythm of War, and this issue was not present here. It is rather cumbersome to have to go on the coppermind wiki to look at the illustration and be able to read it. Is it possible for Brandon/his editor to fix this ? Also, I haven't checked all the other Stormlight books I own except Words of Radiance, which also works fine.
