  1. No! I told you this character was nearly impossible.
  2. Brandon has confirmed that there is a second major type of foreshadowing he is giving us that does not involves Death Rattles. Any guesses?
  3. No, this arrangement could not have been to fill cracks in auxiliary's soul. Clearly, Hoid is keeping secrets from Sigzil. He learned to bond Design despite his torment. He did not tell Sigzil how to bond safely. This may be why Auxiliary is "dead". It is because Sigzil did not know how torments and bonding work.
  4. Good point. It did make more sense when I first wrote it. The only argument I can come up with is that they continued to act normal or pretended the were not bonded. However, we have not seen Aux's true form yet, so we do not know what he looks like, he may look like a deadeye and be unable to talk, but retain consciousness in a bond. Although, it Notum knows about this weird fifth ideal thing, most honorspren would as well which kind of hurts my theory. Questioner Is the relationship between Sigzil and Aux what Adolin and Maya could have? Brandon Sanderson Depends on what they mean by "relationship". It is theoretically possible. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/494/#e15633 I think this could support my theory though Maybe fifth oath honorspren do die, but are capable of healing like Adolin healed Maya. Perhaps this just has not been seen on screen yet. Honorspren may know it is possible, but do not have a fifth oath Windrunner willing to heal their spren back.
  5. To begin with, somebody has to restart this conversation. I think I figured it all out! In Oathbringer, I think chapter 108 Notum tells Kaladin he wants to kill Kaladin just to end his bond with Syl. He also tells Kaladin this will no longer work once Kaladin swears the fifth ideal. Does anybody else see the connection? This means when Sigzil said "My oaths ended." He could be referencing reaching fifth ideal. This means he had no more oaths and they did in fact end. Maybe, once a Radiant reaches fifth ideal and breaks oaths, or picks up a Dawnshard, I am not sure which, their spren would be killed. However, fifth oath Windrunners do not have their spren become deadeyes. Their spren becomes something weird like Aux is. I know this does not answer everything, particularly why Aux is the Knight and Sigzil the squire, but I think this has ground. Alder and Frustration, please do not crush this theory with dozens of WoBs.
  6. Thanks, I will look at it. I am thinking that could mean Radiants become some sort of strange cognitive shadow after death. Maybe this explains the story of lost radiants haunting storms or some of the strange things in sp4. Edit: I meant Windrunners rather than regular Radiants.
  7. A horde of chasmfiends and Regals are attacking you.
  8. I personally believe Kaladin will die by the end of the book. He has nearly reached the end of his arc with no room left to grow. He has healed some of the scars if his life. I have no idea about Syl, but Kaladin will swear the fifth ideal and gain massive power. He will then die protecting Lirin, finishing his growth and closing the arc. Kaladin for 5 more books is unreasonable, there are not enough ideals and not enough for Kaladin to heal from. The reconciliation of Kaladin and Lirin is the only thing left.
  9. Bold it to canonize it. Do it now.
  10. I sit in my mountain fortress and plot terrible vengeance. I decide to call every Radiant in a crusade against you.
  11. Odium, Ruin, Autonomy, and Ambition merged into a single Sharder and are assaulting you with Shardic power.
  12. Sadly for cacophony, the sandwich you stole using your Lunch powers was a fake in a a vault of steel that looks the aluminum. The real vault just changed locations as Lightweaver poisoned your lunch.
  13. I think someone has to restart this discussion. My personal organization falls into 4 groups. Change: Ruin- cultivation, Invention-Endowment Bind: Dominion-Honor, Preservation-Wisdom Passion:Odium-Mercy, Devotion-Whimsy Independence: Autonomy-Ambition, Valor-Virtuosity. I think Hoid and Sigzil held the independence Dawnshard seeing as they are both quite independent, traveling the Cosmere. The Torment may be what allowed Sigzil to skip.
  14. Granted. Your bane is that you will be unable to read Sanderson until [REDACTED] of the month of [REDACTED] near N___________ while holding [REDACTED] and dancing as you Ascend to Adonalsium. I wish to crash the Shard.
  15. No, you will hate yourself when I inevitably reveal the character.
  16. The crashed airship site.
  17. Not something as small as an aluminum box. The sandwich is hidden is an underground vault with 25 foot thick aluminum walls. The aluminum is a trueself metalmind, making it even harder to penetrate.
  18. No, the final clue which makes it obvious is 7. This character committed suicide.
  19. Our army of chasmfiends numbering in the thousands love the taste of caterpillars and make your afformentioned plan somewhat difficult. Lightweaver and I plot with out Council of Sandwich over the next move.
  20. I do not know. I was doing something else when I wrote that. I accept this invitation as I wish for the Sandwich to be co-owned. I begin setting up defense for our threnody fortress. I also invite Ishar, Navani, Raboniel, Shai, and Breeze over to brainStorm on the Sandwich.
  21. Stick has things to do and sends his hordes of minions to stop you for the next hour.
  22. What do you mean, Windrunners cannot open perpendicularities. Rregardless, my assassins, including Nale, took care of Dalinar long ago.
  23. Stick put on his aluminum gauntlets and plunged Nightblood into the perpendicularity to collapse it. Thaikidar finds himself in a tricky situation as nearly 100 Dor-Fueled Elantrians use Aon Daa to form a rifle line against him. All the while, Lightweaver is getting father and farther away. Stick is an Elsecaller and warps to every planet, collapsing each perpendicularity to trap Thaikidar in the Cognitive Realm.
  24. No, when Thaikidar caught the Nightblood by the hilt, he realized he was a despicable person and plunged it through his own chest.
  25. "Thaikidar, would you agree to alliance or truce?" said Stick. As Thaikidar is about to deny Stick and disable him, Stick opens a perpendicularity. An Elsecaller with Nightblood comes through. The Elsecaller Soulcasts the forcefield to smoke and hurls Nightblood at you. A horde of soothers and rioters charge from the perpendicularity and weaken Thaikidar's mind to Nightblood. Steelrunner plunge hemalurgic spikes into Thaikidar to weaken his mind further.
