  1. Knight Radiant Order: Lifemelters Surges: Division and Transportation Surge Combo: They have extreme control in dividing and Soulcasting at the same time. They are specialized at using these talents to melt people. True Spren: Fervourspren and later Unmade Plate Spren: Deathspren Resonance: They are granted the ability to divide beads inside of Shadesmar. Ideal Theme: I shall purify Oaths: First Ideal: LBD/SBW/JBD Second Ideal: I shall purify those without Honor. Third Ideal: I shall destroy to better he whom I swear myself to. Fourth Ideal: I will not allow Mercy to cloud lawful destruction. Fifth Ideal: I will destroy all those who are heretics. Lore: This order was by far the most corrupt and dangerous of the Radiants. They were one of the last orders founded. Honor approached them giving them the duty of administrating and purifying Vorinism. They took this much too literally which essentially made them Inquisitor. Shunned by every order except the Dustbringers, they were despised by the common citizens of Roshar. They acted as effectively an inquisition, and they started the Hierocracy to give the church ultimate power. They believe it is their duty to crusade against all who do not properly follow Vorin law. They commonly arrested darkeyed families for not following Vorin customs like separating food. They then took the property of the arrested and sold it to fund their corruption. At the end of the Hierocracy, a massive horde of Vorin peasants contracted Azish mercenaries and burned the Lifemelter stronghold to the ground. None survived for the next few centuries. It was only when Odium began to take an active role in Rosharan affairs did they resurface. This time they were bonded to Unmade and served Odium totally. They became a terrifying threat to Roshar.
  2. I think you are wrong there. He does want to democratize powers, but the Kelsier I know would not say no to new powers.
  3. Ishar is terrifying because he is a crazy swordsman, unchained bondsmiths, has tons of forbidden knowledge, and is completely insane.
  4. To be fair, they probably are not all verbs. I would say 3 verbs and 1 adjective from Brandon saying one Dawnshard is different from the others.
  5. I agree. I think if Dalinar told anyone and the Ghostbloods got rumors, our favorite psychopathic Ghostbloods leader would be very eager to send envoys to Roshar. I think both would be happy to help each other. Kelsier could supply him with rare Cosmere artifacts and knowledge that could help the research and Ishar could help give him a normal body which can be an allomancer. However, I can totally see Kelsier wanting to make a few upgrades along the way, if possible. Making himself a Feruchemist and something like Sandmaster as well as Allomancer would be of great interest to him.
  6. I mistyped. I meant awakening. Sorry.
  7. I took that to mean she gave them the knowledge of the proper Soulcasting of steel. I do not think she helped make it or something like that. I am of the school of thought that it can be replicated if Vasher is cooperating.
  8. Would you mind providing the WoB saying that because I do not recall that. Edit: Is it this WoB? OrangeJedi When Nightblood created, was Endowment involved in any way more than normal? Brandon Sanderson Good question, you qualified that the right way! I would say yes, but maybe not to the extent you're thinking. OrangeJedi Normal being using Endowment's Investiture to Awaken. There's something special. Brandon Sanderson I would say, there is something special. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/360/#e10871 Edit 2: Or this WoB Khyrindor Did the Five Scholars ever speak directly with Endowment in a way that they would remember? Brandon Sanderson *thinking noises* I'll RAFO that. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/370/#e11814
  9. If Kelsier and the Ghostbloods know how to make Trellium-Harmonium nukes, I would say they are the most dangerous. Otherwise, Susebron is unstoppable. Sure, his awakening is seemingly nowhere near as powerful as other Invested Arts. However, he is above ninth heightening. This means he can awaken steel. He needs only 20,000 breaths to retain ninth heightening. He has 50,000 breaths. Awakening steel costs 1,000 breaths. This means he could make 30 Nightbloods. One Nightblood is enough to terrify Hoid and the vessels. 30 unsheathed Nightbloods could probably cripple a Shard.
  10. I agree with most of Alders remarks but some I do call into question. Taravangian, I am not sure, but I think you are right. I specified Rayse as a person, not as a vessel. I think Dilaf's self-perception could save him, although that is debatable. Hrathen would definitely kill himself. Him crushing that city, I think they were called Duradel? I think he is not evil, but he is too hard on himself and would view himself that way. Lastly, Frost I think might. I believe he was in involved in the shattering and regrets it. He would not use it for evil purposes and is ultimately good, but I think it is similar to Hrathen. One more that I just thought of. TotES character I still think this will provoke some level of debate. There are always more characters though.
  11. The question is if the body Kelsier wears is his original body. I do not think it is specified. However, Ishar's work is different because he wants to essentially have the spren fabricate physical bodies. Kelsier is just using a spike as a staple to attach his soul to a body. He cannot turn his Invested cognitive shadow into physical matter as a body. The staple solution does forbid him from doing a couple of cool things like Allomancy.
  12. Okay, I want to see the consensus on which main Sanderson characters would stab themselves with Nightblood. I hope to resolve a character fully every 3 days or so. I think the only character proper to start with is the magnificent psychopathic mistborn we all know and love. I think Kelsier treads the line, and Nightblood would consider him evil. However, Kelsier's self-perception is that he is a good person. I ultimately believe he would not die by Nightblood.
  13. This WoB may explain Aux being the Knight Do we have any theorizing on which unique events will occur Stormlight 5 to know how this works?
  14. I think he likely does not know about this. I am searching WoBs now and Brandon said that Ishar could theoretically help Kelsier. My question is how this could happen. I assume Ishar would need Kelsier right in front of him to do something. However, Kelsier cannot leave Scadrial and Ishar cannot leave the Rosharan system.
  15. Does Kelsier know about Ishar's work? Does Kelsier think this can help him? Can this help Kelsier? I believe this work if bringing Investiture manifestations into the physical realm could help give Kelsier a real body.
  16. I think Moash has made every terrible choice possible. Perhaps at the beginning, with the Elhokar murder plot, he had a chance. He did have a somewhat legitimate reason, although it was still wrong. After that, he made every despicable decision possible. However, he has always had this entire idolization of Kaladin. He thinks of the great Kaladin Stormblessed will give up, it gives him justification to give up to. I think the only way for him to be redeemed, which I think Brandon could do is for Kaladin to swear the fifth ideal and then die protecting Moash. Not only does this cleanly finish Kaladin's arc, letting him come to peace with Moash, it also gives Moash a believable reason to seek redemption. Besides this, I think Moash redemption is impossible.
  17. Anybody else can go. I need time to think of a new obscure character.
  18. My thinking was that he was uninvested at his time of death because Nightblood ate him.
  19. I enjoy doing this, but nobody will ever figure this out. It is Old Chapps from Warbreaker.
  20. I bake Lightweaver a platter of cookies and send a thank you card. I hire Nale to wield Nightblood and murder Shallan.
  21. I hastily take Stick out of storage and Ascend to true Adonalsium, Stick. I cover myself in fire retardant material.
