Yeah, you are right that Good minds would be better, but I thought Progression wasn't very good at diseases.
-
Another thing I have been considering at length is if this would be the end of all disease. We know Progression isn't too great at healing disease. However, we do know that enough Breaths(I forget the amount) can cure all diseases, as we saw with Vienna. The question is that do these diseases return after the breath is taken away. Because otherwise, doctors could theoretically treat every disease just by infusing someone with a few hundred breaths, then taking them back a few seconds later.

I am very much of the opinion that as well the Cosmere advances into the space age, investiture banks and changers will very quickly emerge in the CS. We know the spren cities of Roshar have already started this process with transfers into perfect gemstones. It is natural that as as Cosmere technology and ability to manipulate investiture grows, investiture will become a sort of commodity. This is why I believe that people who are technically knowledgeable enough, likely in Silverlight, will begin making business of changing types of investiture around. Especially with Scadrian advances in Feruchemical technology. This makes me believe it is theoretically possible to do things like switching around attributes, or even using unkeyed investitures to make custom metal minds. This will make a demand for the ability to easily transfer between investiture types, which at this point can probably be rented to regular people. Naturally, very smart people who want to be rich will step in to fill this demand. TSM spoilers In summary, I thought this was an interesting little theory and I am interested to hear thoughts. P.S. Alder, please don't slam me with 20 WoB's

That would mean that there is now a way to make investitures of different Shards compatible, which is pretty interesting.

What I was shocked by are Shard-Guns. The Radiant clearly had one. The only thing I don't understand is how the power-pack works. Maybe is is a god-metal or an alloy or Cultivation and Honor. And also, Frost seems like a really great guy. I wonder if we will see him and Hoid interacting. It says he sat on a Faine-wood throne, which I thought he wouldn't like since it is kind of a Sho-Del thing. Nazh being a CS is really weird, and he seems different from when he was alive. He seems far more jovial. It sounds almost like he might be Starling's keeper. It also makes me worried for the fate of Khriss. Xisis owning the ship is fascinating, and it implies that whatever he did on Lumar went alright. I think it is likely that Frost or some of the other dragons somehow declared him responsible for Starling. The aethers mentioned are not Lumar. It seems to be the name of the aether home world he said in a WoB. They mention old spores being drowsy, which is weird. The conversation also implies we will see Silverlight on screen in this book. Also, we know Dhatri didn't have a perpendicularity "anymore". This implies it did at one point, and perpendicularities are normally Shardic in nature, so maybe a Shard settled with the Aethers. It mentions her referencing Master Hoid, and him vanishing like typical. This implies he remains alive in time for this book, and that she somehow knows him well. This makes me think that maybe Hoid and Frost or some other dragons are getting along better now. The bird-people sound interesting, and make me curious on Sleepless war crimes. Maybe it has something to do with their talking about the Dawnshard.

Yes, to me, this seems to indicate that Ishar probably won't end up being a Herald if they do try to reform the Oathpact, or he will have some big conflict with Dalinar. I could even see him potentially trying to bring the Stormfather over and killing him, as part of the end of the first arc. This links well with the theory that the Night of Sorrows is an endless Weeping.

Today I was rereading Yumi and I noticed something very fascinating when I looked at it from a Hoid-centric perspective. On page 31 in the physical book, where Hoid was describing Design's form and the noodle shop, I noticed something very interesting. Hoid says "It wasn't an actual body-- we all kind of learned our lesson on that." This strikes me as an extremely odd thing for Hoid to mention. When he describes it as an illusion soulcasted to give it mass, it sounded like Shallan's illusions in Oathbringer, but that is off topic. Instead, it brought to mind the experiments of Ishar in Stormlight to give spren physical bodies. This makes it seem like whatever Ishar ends up doing in Stormlight 5 won't work too well. I am just curious to see if there are any thoughts on this.

Granted! Your spren gets pulled into the physical realm and dies. I wish I had good eyesight. -
My major point that I have always seen is that Kaladin and Dalinar are both actually pretty poor Vessels for Honor. Both of them in my mind don't necessarily fit his Intent on just the right was. We also know that Odium claims, assuming he can be trusted that "Honor basically cares only for bonds, but not what they bond" or something along those lines. This makes Kaladin seem to be a really terrible Vessel, because his whole thing is that he has to protect everything, and Windrunners are pretty emotional in general. Dalinar has more of a chance, but he doesn't necessarily adhere extremely strongly to every minute bond. This is why if someone ascends, I propose the Ascension of Szeth to be the Vessel of the Shard of Honor. Yes, you read that. This is mainly based on the fact that I believe no character in any book is a more perfect Vessel for Honor that Szeth. He cares ultimately for bonds, after all, he went on a killing spree based solely on the Oathstone, motivated by his sense of Honor alone. We also know the Shin are an extremely bound people, with very specific rules that they would never break. I really just see Szeth as a perfect Vessel to ascend, because his adhesion to bonds in unmatched.

So, every great empire needs a good administrator, so I would conscript either Tindwyl, Llarimar, or maybe Dockson. Next you need a really strong army or fighting capability. I would choose either Kelsier or Vasher. I would choose Vasher, because while Kelsier is crazy, he is literally crazy, and he is only one guy, so he is bad at doing things like stopping riots. Vasher is better because he is smarter, more rational, he fights dirty, knows a lot, and he has Kalad's Phantoms. They are literally elite shock troops, and they can crush whole armies, and Roman tech can't really stop them. Last, I would want either a figurehead or someone to chat with and keep me sane. I would like Breeze for manipulation, or even Frost. I would actually choose Frost because he is really experienced, seems like he would be fun to talk to, and he probably knows some magic code to keep Hoid out of my business.

Every single one of you is wrong. There is only one good roommate, not included on the list. The only good roommate is The Stick. He could shield you from any shard or even Adonalsium. He could literally break all reality.

No, none of these. 3. This place is in the Cognitive Realm.

The mural in Dawnshard, combined with some suggestive WoBs have led people to group Shard Intents into groups of four, which are then used to extrapolate Dawnshards.

No. 1. This place houses Investiture. 2. This location has been seen on screen.
