Her mind is fading - before long, she will become a normal cat. Albeit with Elantrian abilities. But I may have a temporary solution to your problem, Furless One." He handed the thing to Emma. It was a pendant on a long string of intricate silver chain, the pendant itself made of strange stone that shivered slightly when it came in contact with Emma's hand. It was carved with the same symbol scattered around the Islands. The symbol seemed... softer on the pendant. "This pendant," the Second said gently, "is a protective measure. It will not absorb all of the darkness, but will be able to siphon a little off at a time. The Seventh had the ability... has the ability of Absorption - she is able to take some of that power, but eventually reaches a limit where she has to convert it to something else." He turned away, brown tail flicking, sapphire eyes touched by tears. "I am afraid that is all that I can do for you now, Child. I cannot interfere too much with the Great Chain." Haha! You'd thought I'd put a sketch here, didn't you? No, coloured pencil and fineliner exists! This is an art of one of the characters in one of my stories (wow, I said "one" a lot!) I did steal the typography from Ranger's Apprentice, so that's probably why it looks familiar to some of you. Irene (the human) is a Bonder, meaning that she has a Bond with a creature - in this case, Leeta, a Night Panther (I came up with this when I was 13, OK? Names ain't creative.) Basically, she has to go on an adventure to find her mur'aa (bonded creature) then runs into a whole buncha stuff. Classic adventure then "Storms. We have to save the world? Really??" Yup. Fun. I first did a rough sketch, then traced it in fineliner, erasing the graphite lines. Then, I added colour! Good fun. Don't mind that Irene's proportions are off - it's fine *nervous laughter* Anyways, have a wonderful day, Humans!

Coughing blood, the Other Cloaked Figure stood and ripped the knife out of his back. He turned to his Rootspren and raised an eyebrow. "You could've warned me that would happen!" The Rootspren, Gurgles, shrugged his blobby shoulders. He looked like a pool of root on the ground. When he moved, he moved like an amoeba. "Ya healed. It's fiiine." The Other Cloaked Figure glared at the spren. "Ah right, fine, I'll tell you next time!" Gurgles grumbled, blobbing across the ground.

The Other Cloaked Figure swept into the room, studying the breadmunks as they swarmed across the room, towards Unintelligible. "By the Power Invested in me!" He bellowed as he summoned his root spear. "I declare that these breadmunks shall fall!" He sweept his spear and gracefully began destroying the breadmunks with the grace and power of an Edgedancer. Stormlight glowed from his exposed fingertips, and he slid gracefully amongst the breadmunks, throwing them into the air like a a strong stormwind flings pebbles.
