guys my dad came home yesterday with a random new phone

and apparently it’s mine :3

he switched it out last night, and now i have an actual apple screen (we had to change the other one out—and the colors are so vibrant on this one maybe my art will FINALLY look the same on my phone!!!!!!) and an apple battery (also had to change the other one out) and it’s such a pretty teal color!!! I got the most beautiful case for it and i can’t wait for it to get here :3333 

i’ll send pics when it does! i’ve had 3 different phones now and this is the first one that i’ve been able to choose the case that i want

which idk why but it feels huuugeeeee because the other cases were all like big and black and clunky—like that’s good for protection, ofc! but i need the aesthetic

its a clear case actually designed for the color my phone is, and it has these beautiful flowers on it and aaaaaahhhhh

im also changing out my wallpaper to make it more aesthetic, but maybe i should do that on the plane tomorrow… (AAAAH!) (that was both excitement and fear)

so yep that’s exciting!! 

ALSO I MADE THIS MAP FOR MY WORLD! i cut down on some of the other tribes that rarely get mentioned but it’s kinda sad that i kicked them so maybe i’ll bring them back but this is the basic idea

we’re spending three days at disney, one at universal, one at the beach, and one at hollywood studios

i couldn’t get her eyes right because this stupid pencil is too soft and dull, but i can’t find a sharpener and all my mechanical ones are out of lead also i just woke up

but yep i think it still looks pretty decent!

i finished recording for RUNAWAY

tbh it’s not all that good because i kept going sharp in some spots towards the end (and flat) but i did several takes and stitched them all together then put some reverb on it lol so

it’s not terrible by any means but it’s far from perfect

so i’m thinking about writing a scene for this side project/short story thing where this character has to give a deposition for nursing home neglect 

do any of y’all have any ideas of what some questions might be for that? cuz i want it to be as accurate as possible and i’ve done some googling but they’re all super basic

so i learned last night that you should never sit on your hand for long periods of time

it got all red and swollen and stiff lol

im ok tho lol

i also had a scare when i woke up cuz it was 11:00 but something was covering up the first one on my digital clock and i was like “ain’t no way ”

 so first off you wanna get Artesano bread (it’s white bread, thickly sliced; you can get it at walmart or hyvee and probably other places too) because the texture is AMAZING for toast, then toast it on a medium setting so the outside is crispy but the inside is still soft

and then you’re gonna wanna slather it in butter (to your liking of course)

then grab some cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top and you have the best toast in the world

life lesson of the day:
