@SmilingPanda19, I sang Golden Hour for you. it's a little rough since my voice hurts a bit and got kind of shaky, and the track v my voice is unbalanced, but it's getting late and I didn't have time to retake. It also has some background noise, so I apologize. I also don't know this song very well so I don't do it justice  My phone is also terrible at recording so I'm sorry for the harsh spots 

Anyways, hope it's okay. I will be honest, I love doing these for people, so if anyone else has some they'd like to hear, I have too much extra time lol, so shoot em over and I'll do them . 

This ("Lovely") is one of my favorite Billie Eilish songs. This and "Your Power". Anyways, if you decide to listen, please ignore my loud family and the crying child in the background. This was my third take, and while some of my notes were rough and I totally panicked twice cuz I missed a breath, my tone was the best in this one, so I didn't want to do it over again. Lol. Sadly, that also meant having background noise... oh well. The pantry walls are only so thick

I can't believe it's already been a year! It flew by so fast. I so enjoyed getting to share art, writing, and recordings with you guys. 

I would like to say smth while I've pinged (mostly, I think) everybody: Kajsa rhymes with Asia. So there.  

@CalanoCorvus, @shortcake (and others--all of you, really, but these two especially were incredibly persistent and made a huge impact): thank you so much for always being there for me. In my darkest moments, you both stuck by my side no matter what. Thank you. I think it's safe to say that you all saved my life.

Cal, I honestly don't have words. When I started to feel alone, there was a time when you were the only person who would comment on my SUs. That meant a lot, really, and that helped us bond. You're one of my best friends here on the shard, and I can't believe that I get to be your annoying (if not overbearing) friend. Thanks for always being invested in my endeavors and encouraging me. Thanks for unconditionally caring.

EDDIE RUEEE! I know we didn't bump into each other until a little later down the road (if I remember correctly), but I'm so glad we did end up meeting. You have a great sense of humor, your writing is borderline incredible, and I'm convinced that we literally share brainwaves.   

Thaid, I know we also didn't interact much until a bit later, but you're a pretty important person in my shard life. Not only are you smart, but you're humorous and kind, and your comments always make me smile. Thank you for adding a little more fun to my life.

Haly, I know you can't see this either, and I know we talk nearly every day, but I want you to know that you're my best friend, and I care about you so much. We have a bond that I don't share with anybody else, and I will always be eternally grateful that we met. Not only have you always been there for me, helped me think things through logically, kept me grounded, gave me laughs, made me smarter and more outgoing, but you have helped me so much with my novel. I don't know how I'll ever repay you, and every day I slip further into your debt. I don't have words to express how grateful and lucky I am to have a friend like you. I hope we get to see each other's faces again sometime. okay, I know I just barely posted, but I'm lowkey bored and want to sing. So if y'all request a song and I know it, I'll sing it!

Isn't it kind of weird how no matter how much sleep you get, you can still end up tired? Lol that's me today. 

I got a lot of writing done yesterday (a couple of pages, that's a huge step for my writer's block), and I'm really happy about that! Show choir rehearsal also went really well last night, except for the fact that the one time my director was watching me I was like a half beat behind and he called me out for it 0)_(0... but that's okay. We definitely have a lot to do before the season starts, but I'm excited! 

...mostly. I hate choreography days with a passion and we still have to learn our whole closer. Oh well.

I've also picked up TWoK again recently and got a whole chapter read last night.

This morning was kind of a recipe for a mental breakdown--I was totally exhausted, still sick, school starts back up today, I didn't have time to eat breakfast, my dad had to wake me up four times, and my back is in so much pain.

BUT!

Today's gonna be a good day anyway. I have my good classes today, and I already know I won't have any homework (and it's only 10:30!). Graphic Design class is going really well. I think I'd do really really well in the industry, and it would be a really fun job! It's kinda cool how high school helps you try out different things for potential careers. 

I still want to be an author, but I'll obviously have to have a side job for a while.

Okay. So... I finished the drawing. It’s probably some of the best rendering I’ve ever done, and I’m pretty stinking proud of it. There IS lots of bare leg, so, ummm, you know, just… fair warning. Mmk? Just in case that’s something you’re, like, sensitive to cuz Ik some ppl are. That’s all.

I’m so sick of cough drops I’m actually gonna cry. But we’re having something delicious for dinner so hopefully that will cheer my sad taste buds up.

Still sick, and it’s the last day of fall break. I’m trying to cram in some creative ______ (<—I keep forgetting words out of the blue and it’s the most frustrating thing ever) before break ends, since the whole plan was to work on my book and draw a few pictures I’m satisfied with. 

…neither have actually happened. Oops.
