    Man, Tolkien was a genius, and Peter Jackson made a great adaptation of it, and Howard Shore's score is beautiful.

    Cin, I can't believe you. I just turned signatures back on just to look at them for a little, and I saw that I'm not in you're shardbuddies list! Even more outrageous, EDDIE IS IN THERE TWICE! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! IT'S UNFAIR!

    I think Mat is more likely to turn, there are plenty of timelines where he doesn't fully recover from holding the knife. Also, Elayne and Siuan both meet at least the same levels of ambitious, stupid, and overbearing, so your argument would have to include them as well. I don't like the go to shadow and come back trope, especially when we have a character literally die to come back. I'm actually a big fan of Egwene, I think she's easily the best of the female main characters. Mat is my favorite of the guys.

    dang it, I was about to exploit that newly-realized grammatical error. Fortunately, you didn't actually take the Sandwich. There is only one logical solution for me. I don't like dealing with frozen bees, so I teleport the Sandwich to me. Then I walk away because I'm not hungry.

    Let's go! BYU>Utah again. But can we all acknowledge that the last PI was absolutely not PI? The second to last one also didn't look like PI to me. And there was a holding on Utah that wasn't called. There were also some fouls on BYU that weren't called. I don't know why challenging for fouls isn't allowed, it should be. but BYU won, so it all worked out ok.

    One of the people in my section today was complaining about how much music they have to memorize (2 songs for one choir, 4 for another, 3 combined ones). What they don't realize is that I have to memorize all of that and 8 more songs, all of which need to be able to be sung a Capella and while moving around. They don't know just how good they have it.

    It's official. I have now missed all 3 of my shardiversaries. I'm getting closer though! I was only one day off this time!

    In other news, did you know 3 years is a long time?

    In other other news, All State was awesome, the Tabernacle is amazing.

      It's so loud and so beautiful. You should've seen the choir's faces when we heard it play for the first time Saturday.

      @Silver Phantom I don't work there normally, it's an occasional weekend thing. I might know of some of your friends, but it's unlikely.

      @Immortal Platypus If it's anything like my expression was and continues to be, I'm sure it was a sight to behold. :D

    Platypi are naturally intrigued by escape rooms. This is common knowledge. Thus, the platypus (who was completely normal) needed to find its way to the service desk. It would be an adventure.

    The platypus was, after all, a truly terrifying teacher. Especially as it swam laps on its back.

    It finished the worm and made a noise. It was a noise that a normal platypus would make. After getting poked, it decided it didn't like that very much and walked back to the pool. It was now swimming around. Unfortunately, there was no otter for it to play with.

    It did not, in fact, start talking. That would've been weird. It walked between her legs and started eating a worm it somehow found.

    It got bored of swimming and got out, then approached her leisurely. They were at a leisure pool, after all.

    The platypus jumped into the water (it was more of a hop, actually) and started swimming. There was a platypus swimming in it.

    The platypus seemed to nod. Realistically, it probably didn't (it was just a platypus), but that's what it seemed to do.
