The source of the sound was a large company traveling behind them. Around 30 armored men walked beside a large, fanciful carriage. It was painted bright pink and flaunted small crystals danging from it on gold chains. It seemed stupid, to Whist, as the crystals could easily be stolen. Then again, the carriage's passenger was obviously rich enough to replace them frequently. The carriage was pulled by two, magnificent white horses; it looked like something straight out of a children's story book. A single woman rode behind the company on a simple, brown horse, but she was too far away to see very well.

"Hmm. . . I see." Whist really wasn't sure how to answer that, she really wasn't the best person for deep advice. Plus, she couldn't expect Nayka to completely change her ways overnight, this sort of thing took time. If it's not too much to ask could you draw Whist?? (from the archipelago rp) Her character description is in her character sheet, but I can summarize here: She has dark brown hair, light brown skin, and large round glasses. She's about mid-20's to 30's in age, and she wears girly clothing that tends to be yellows, and oranges. She usually has a backpack and a long staff/ walking stick thing. I hope thats not too complicated ^^;

Whist went quite for a bit, thinking. She glanced out across the country side, the sun had fully risen by now, and even more travelers populated the road. "But what if you filled your pockets with stuff you earned instead? Trust me it feels very satisfying to see hard, honest work pay off. Plus, no one would get hurt, or feel loss for it." So I decided to sit down and do this cause it sounded fun- and I really like the concept. I realized that it may be coming out weird because by including eyes in the design, that implies the existence of a face we can't see, and by adding the scars, we know he has a forehead (bear with me here), so I think the presence of a forehead and eyes (+ the rest of the implied face) looks a little weird without eyebrows. I think the Harry Potter logo manages without eyebrows because it only shows glasses and a lightning bolt, which can be interpreted as 2 inanimate objects/symbols not necessarily a face (also glasses often cover eyebrows on the face, and glasses frame the eyes nicely the way eyebrows do so it kinda works without eyebrows even with the context of being on a face but anyway). Basically that rant (featuring my extremely small knowledge of graphic design) was to say: I added eyebrows. I do realize, this is a bit different from your original vision, and it makes it less similar to the Harry Potter logo, so I included a version without eyebrows. But I have to say I like the one with eyebrows more. (also a glowy for fun!!) Edit: I apologize for my files being huge

"Nice, I guess we set off then!" Whist said, eager to start the day. Hopefully, with an early start they could reach Caerlon a bit faster. Whist found when it came to lost things, time was of the essence As they set off down the path, the town fell away from them on both sides to reveal miles of farmland. The scenery was pretty, in a quaint way; the rising sun made the hills glow gold. The road was smooth and easy to traverse. They passed many other travelers on their way, most moving the same direction as them, to Caerlon proper. @NerdyAarakocra

Timeline wise our stamp collecting storyline has only taken like 2-3 days so far I have no idea how long it will take us to get to the festival, but it probably won't be a full two months (as we had planned for the festival deadline), more like a couple weeks. I can probably stretch things out if its needed though also @Channelknight Fadran would it be okay to use some of the more expensive crystal coin things on NPC's? not using them as money, but I like your idea of using them as decoration

The next morning Whist felt much better, the sun was out. She stood outside the inn they had stayed in last night. The Building was on the outskirts of town and was set on the road that would take them into the countryside. Standing out in the crisp morning air, she pulled from the gentle rays. Even refreshed, it was hard to break old habits. Whist carefully finished loading a pack of supplies onto the pony she had rented. The journey to Caerlon city would only take 3 or 4 days, but it was good to be prepared.

"We should find a place to rest for the night," Whist said with a concerned glance at Fiadh. "Its been a long day." And she was beginning to feel it too, without the suns energy, she felt exhausted. Whist began walking towards the least sketchy looking inn.
