Today I actually have some finished art! I'm almost finished with Alloy of Law, so I drew Marasi! I'm pretty happy with how it looks, but I did use a reference so that's probably why. (Also how on earth do you pronounce Marasi? I thought it was like Maras-aye, but then my friend said it like Maras-ee, so now I have no idea) Here's the reference I used (I found it on Pinterest, and it gave no information so I have no idea what its from/ who it is) I should also say I have 0 knowledge about guns, so it might be the wrong kind/ time period for her . . .

"No I haven't," He said, setting down his teacup and moving over to Madds to grab a chipacker. It tasted good, a nice ranch flavor. "Huh, better then I thought." August admitted. "Do you know what time it is? I think its lights out at 10."

Many started putting up a very large and obnoxious pink tent that Grace was probably going to stay in. Muriel directed their work, sending some to get wood for a fire, and others to start making some kind of soup for dinner. The guards watching them settled down on the ground, and causally started whispering, but Whist couldn't make out what they were saying. The guards eyes never left them. I went and found the description: so yeah, horses- Muriel also has her own horse

". . . are they any good?" he asked glancing curiously at the box.

"I could make an illusion or possibly a fire of some sort, but that requires sunlight, if Grace decides to enter the city before dawn I wouldn't be able to do it."

August narrowed his eyes at the use of "Gus." Madds seemed like a nice person though, so he ignored it. "I think we're going to the lake tomorrow," he said, flopping down on his own, very green, bed. He dug around in his bag, and then pulled out a tea pot. He set this gently on the bedside table. Then he got out a teacup and saucer, and poured himself a cup. It was orange juice, not tea. What kind of a person would choose tea over orange juice? "I hope they don't make us swim," he said, "I'm not very good at it."

Please, this is too perfect I need to read this, I would try writing it but I've never done anything like that before

"Oh no, it totally smells like garlic in here," August said as he unlocked the door to the room and pulled his suitcase inside. Other then a small, suspicious stain on the ceiling in one corner, it looked fine-- and completely roach free. "Maybe they were making pizza?" he guessed.

August glanced at the list Carrie was holding. "Looks like we're together Madds," He said pulling his suitcase through the lobby towards the hallway, "Room 5 I think." The hallway smelled kinda weird, but he ignored it as he looked for a door with a 5 on it.

"Nope" August replied, "Is there a list somewhere?"

August looked around after gathering his luggage. The pine trees are nice he thought to himself. He followed the red haired kid in front of him into the hotel, it felt good to walk around a bit after such a long drive. "Sooooo . . ." He said, catching up to them in the lobby, "No roaches, that's pretty fancy."

Bro I was literally thinking about this just the other day A duel between them would be so flashy and over the top, I really wanna see it. And if they teamed up it would be even more insane

Sure, your welcome to use my drawings as references! I would also remember to look at real photographs for references, because my drawings and artistic knowledge is nowhere near perfect. That being said it can be beneficial to use art as a reference, so if you think it will help, go ahead I read this as "violently throws up" and I was very concerned until I remembered that English is my first language and, despite my own belief, I can actually read Thanks for the compliment your really nice ^^ once again I'm back with a bit more art, I decided it would be cool to throw some of my unfinished Cosmere fanarts here, because otherwise they'll remain in the dark void of my computer hard drive until the end of time! Disclaimer: this art is of course unfinished, so its not my best. I found a way to fix the my-image-size-is-huge-on-the-shard-for-some-reason problem, but the image quality isn't the best, which is something I'm stilling working on fixing. And I ramble a lot [Also, medium blood warning on the 3rd piece down, I honestly don't do gore a lot, but you know how fantasy adventure books can be]

Whist put her hand on Fiadh's shoulder. "We'll be alright, even if we can't escape, she'll only take us to the local law enforcement, and I'm sure they'll be far more reasonable." She glanced at the guards around them, they seemed almost as uncomfortable as she did.

"I . . . I not really sure if that would work," Whist replied, "I certainly don't think I could create lightning." "That sounds pretty solid, how big can you make the portal? Would we all fit or would we need to go one at a time?" Whist asked, "How far do you think the portal can get us?" There was a shout from Grace's carriage and it slowed to a stop. The large party moved onto a flat grassy area beside the road, It seemed they were finally stopping for the night. Muriel hopped down from her horse and yelled at a few of the nearby soldiers to come over. "I am going to speak with Lady Grace, you are going to stay here," she said, addressing Whist and company. Then she turned to the soldiers she had called over, "If you let them out of your sight I will make sure you become well acquainted with the consequences," her voice was almost as emotionless as her face. The closest soldier nodded, real fear in his eyes. And with that she was gone, and they were somehow both alone and completely surrounded at the same time. @InfiniteInsanity @Shallan Stormblessed

"I suppose that could be it, perhaps we're simply thinking to hard" Whist said. She was starting to get tired from a full day of walking, and had to pull more energy from the sun. Speaking of the sun, it was starting to sink in the sky. Grace would have to stop sometime soon, her soldiers would need to rest. "If we're going to make an escape plan, we have to make it now," she suggested, "I could use my Star Magic to make some sort of illusory distraction, but that will only work while the sun is up," Whist glanced at the sky again, there wasn't much time left for that idea. @NerdyAarakocra @InfiniteInsanity @Tani

I'm not a musical person, so I probably couldn't help you with lyrics, but it would be fun to have Kelsier sing a really flashy over the top song about smiling and being optimistic or something (if we're focusing on the final empire), maybe it would be near the beginning when he's trying to encourage Vin? He could have a more solemn, melancholic reprise during/ right before his duel with the inquisitor near the end of the book. Going with that maybe the lyrics could also mention hope and then tie into his famous "I am Hope" line. The theme of hope, and optimism is a big one in Mistborn era 1, and it could connect really well with your idea for the main song being about trust.
