Hello hello hello. 

School is over for the semester, yay! I am so tired.

Greetings, fellow Sharders. I am sleepy, but I live. I would give life updates but at the same time there's too much and not much at all worth sharing. Things could be better, but they've been a lot worse in the past. I guess I'll answer questions if people have them.

Hopefully I can be on here a bit more! It's coming up on 3 years now... That's a pretty long time.

I'm getting started on Isles of the Emberdark! I'm very excited, since I really liked Sixth of the Dusk. Right now I just have the ebook, but I should be getting the physical book, along with the rest of the box, very soon!

Weird day today. I've got a lot of work to do but I lack the executive function to do it.

Also, my right ear hurts because it just got tinnitus really bad. While it was happening I opened a tone generator to try and match it. I think it's a G#?

2 years is a long time. And a lot of stuff has happened in that time. It's been quite the ride. 

I'll try to do the think where I thank all of the people, but I don't know how much I'll be able to write, and I'll almost certainly forget people, so apologies in advance.

@The Halcyon Girl - My first shardbuddy and first person I RPed with much. I'm glad to see you around here a bit more. I've enjoyed all the time RPing and talking, even through the hard stuff. Remember that you are loved, and myself and many other people are here for you. Thank you for helping me when I needed it too.

@Cinnamon - My second shardbuddy, I think? It's been a while, but you're great and I hope all's well.

@Shining Silhouette - You won't see this, but I enjoyed and will enjoy having you around. I'm glad that your mission has been going well, and you're over halfway through!

@Kajsa - I've still been seeing your SUs. I think stuff is going mostly pretty well (?) which is good. Sorry you're sick, though. We've talked a lot too, and it's been a joy. The way your art has developed has also been astounding to witness. Thanks for everything.

@The Wandering Wizard - Wizzy! I don't know how consistently you're on here, but you are also among those who I talked to a lot, especially during the hard times. We've also had interesting conversations in general, and I'm glad to have met you. Thanks for everything, I hope you're doing well.

@Ranryu - You are not on the Shard anymore, but I'll make a message anyway. I've enjoyed talking to you and RPing with you and such. I feel like some of this is getting repetitive, but it's all true. There are a lot of people I appreciate on here.

@Wittles - Hello! Looks like you haven't been on here very much recently, but I think I've seen you in that chat sometimes... Anyway, you're really awesome and I hope you realize that. You can get through things, and we're here for you. 

@Edema Rue - Eddie, you're a very cool person and I've loved taking to you and getting to know you. Especially thank you for being there for me. It has meant so much. 

@Ancient Elantrian - You are very fun to RP with! I can't say I quite comprehend all of the Elans, but it's certainly something

@Just-A-Stick - You don't seem to have been around here much lately, but hi! You've also been fun to RP with. 

@Aeoryi - As I've talked to you, I've gotten the sense that you don't realize how important and valuable you are. You are a good person, and I wish you the very best. I'm around if you ever need someone to talk to.

@Random Bystander - You've been away for quite a while now. I'm not sure what happened, but I hope you're well. We have RPed a lot together and I really enjoyed it, and you generally seem like a cool person.

@InfiniteInsanity - I've done some RP with you too, and I think we've talked some on the doc too. I hope you're doing good.

@The Bookwyrm - You are also in WW! I've enjoyed talking to you on the occasion, though I don't feel like we've directly conversed or RPed much, which feels strange. Maybe I'm misremembering.

I'm feeling unjustifiably exhausted, which is annoying when I have work to do. Also why is my teacher making me compare (and avoid contrasting) two stories that are wildly different thematically.

You know those nights when you accidentally keep yourself up way too late investigating superconductors and quantum locking and stuff because you had a misconception that you want to rectify, but it turns out it's way over your head and you were half right but also completely missing something and it's really weird and quantum-y? And then once you finally stop it's too late for it to feel worth it to go to sleep right away so you just stay up later and later? 

Agh if only school wasn't happening. Why can't I obsessively research a topic in the middle of the night without significant consequences other than harming my own physical health anymore??

Well I've discovered that I'm very behind on Shard things. I don't know if you can see these, but I saw your message to me on Panda's SU, and your PM. Thanks. I wish you the best as well.

What's going on here these days?

Here's some rapid fire life updates: 

Feeling somewhat agoraphobic as of late. I'm pretty sure that's the right word. 

Tired. I am also that. 

I'm learning piano! It's going pretty well, I'm not too bad at picking up on new pieces.

And then the biggest one, which some of you know already: I have a girlfriend! So that's pretty great.

I feel like RPing but I can't really do anything in the ones I'm in right now.

Maybe I could make one... But what?

I've done it.

I've read everything in the Cosmere to date. Every novel and novella (and White Sand). I just finished The Sunlit Man.

I don't know what to do or feel. I guess now I just rest until SA5...
