  1. Sorry Wiz! I think I missed your post when I left Friday. Thank you! It's much appreciated! *wins*
  2. I read through some older posts and I see what you mean, Araris. Here're some quotes Looking back, I see that Conq did quantify their data and said that they might put too many people in the middle, and so it makes sense that a couple people might be in weird places to avoid that. A couple of the low-posters were suspected a couple times; I think Illwei put me in the group of possible elims or something at some point, so it does make sense that others might follow suit. Anyway, there's totally the other scenario that Conq is vil and an Elim used Compulsion to cover for a Forsaken. Though I agree with Vorros. I'd like some explanation or defense to see what the reasoning. Where do you stand, @Conquestor? Which scenario do you think caused the vote discrepancy? Is there a reason Wiz is in your neutral and other low posters are in Elim lean?
  3. I keep going back and forth. I think it's possible, especially with Devo's last minute vote after probably everyone submitted actions. I think I'm also somewhat suspicious of him because of his Elim lean list. By the way, @Conquestor, why wasn't Wizard on your Elim lean list? He had a similar post count to me and didn't contribute very much. I think if Conq is Elim, Wiz is also Edit: If Conq elim, then teammates may include the people who didn't vote Conq: Matrim, Devo, Vorros or Luckspren. Probably not Xino, Sart, or Araris because the Elims wouldn't target their own.
  4. @Sart, Great minds think alike! Seems we went through the same process haha Totally planned, I promise Edit 1: I didn't consider the possibility that there isn't a Forsaken. I'll edit my possibility tree Edit 2: I just realized that the No Forsaken Vote encompasses that possibility anyway
  5. Possibilities of Vote Discrepancy: Scenario 1: Forsaken on Conq (Possibilities include Araris, Sart, and Xino) Forsaken is either Araris, Sart, or Xino. I believe this is fairly likely, though there could be other shenanigans going on there Scenario 2: Compulsion + Forsaken not on Conq. (Forsaken possibilities include everybody but Wizard, Me, Araris, Sart, and Xino) 2.1 Elim moves vote on Conq to a Forsaken to protect ally 2.2 Vil moves vote on Conq due to confident read. The vote is transferred to whoever the Forsaken voted for, and the Vil has narrowed down who the Forsaken is. Highly unlikely imo Scenario 3: Amyrlin 3.1 Amyrlin Vote Nullifier + No Forsaken Vote. (Forsaken is either Wizard or myself or DNE) 3.1.1 Elim Amyrlin nullifies vote on Conq to protect fellow elim 3.1.2 Vil Amyrlin nullifies vote due to confident read 3.2 Amyrlin Nullifier + Compulsion + No Forsaken Vote. (Forsaken is either Wizard or myself or DNE) This makes no sense - only possible if Amyrlin nullified Illwei, Xino, or Sart and then used Compulsion to switch vote on Conq to nullified vote. 3.3 Amylrin Vote Switch + Forsaken Vote See Scenario 2 Notes: Amyrlin Nullifier and Forsaken vote are mutually exclusive Compulsion/Vote Switch must have occurred if Forsaken isn't Araris, Sart, or Xino No Compulsion (or double Compulsion) occurred if Forsaken is Araris, Sart, or Xino Let me know if I missed any possibilities. I think in order of probability, Scenario 2 (2.1, specifically) is most probable, then Scenario 1, then Scenario 3.
  6. This mind boggling fact boggled all the narrators' minds- especially since the current year was approaching Silhouette decided to invite the other narrators' to a party in the year 2022.
  7. Adreus watched the same show every tuesday for three centuries. The show was a classic film, of course
  8. Why is this? Is it elimy to low post in other games (or even this game )? So if the Amyrlin voted Illwei, one of either Devo, Conq, Vorros, and Luckspren is the Amyrlin. If it was a Forsaken missing vote, the Forsaken is either Araris, Sart, or Xino. I feel like it wouldn't make sense for the villagers to use Compulsion this early when there's not too much to go off of, so I feel like for me this action would be done by an elim. One of those possibilities is a genuine vote on Illwei, the next is that a forsaken struck against Conq in-thread to get others to vote them out or they voted trying to blend in with all the backlash against conq, and the final is (probably out of the two imo) an elim using compulsion to vote Illwei or save Conq or (not so probably imo) a vil using compulsion to add another vote on illwei or save conq because they're sure of their innocence/guilt (which I think is premature at this point). Tell me if I'm missing obvious scenarios; I'm just trying to make sense of what could be going on.
  9. This doesn't add up for me. If thread control is all-important for the elims (and villagers too), then why have you put Sart (1 post), Xino (2 posts), and me (this is my third post) in elim lean instead of neutral? I might be reading this entirely backwards and the low post count is exactly the reason why you're suspicious of us, but it seems to me like you're saying that because the elim kill is less likely to succeed, the elims must vie for thread control themselves to influence the voting. I'm not sure I quite understand what you're saying about vote manipulation makes thread control less important, though... It just seems to me that using that logic, the ones who haven't contributed as much to the thread shouldn't be put in one side or another at this point (unless you have other reasons, and if you do, I'd like to hear them) because I feel intuitively like your list of elim leans and village leans should be more based off of post count/thread control when I look at your explanation of thread control principles.
  10. I do! That doesn't mean I'm good at it though How do you like to get focused?
  11. Ok so I haven't had much time to read through and analyze yet; my apologies, it's been a crazy day (and I'll be more active in the future). As the only thing that I've posted was a general question that applies to most players, I'm curious why I'm you think I'm elim lean at this point in time. To be honest, I'm not following the discussion very well- either I'm really tired or this is my first game and I'm over my head with tells from other games and such.
  12. I literally laugh for hours when I read his stuff Having your books organized neatly in the closet (complete with sanderson collection and all) People saying “thank you” When it’s a cold day and the sun comes out from behind the clouds and you get to bask in its light Stomping on ice in the winter (it’s SOOO satisfying) When people use correct grammar When you meet someone new and you just click Making your crush smile Having a nice cool drink on a hot summer day
  13. Steven was pleasantly surprised that he’d become a radiant. He hasn’t realized it was in the cards. He supposed that only the people with the greatest weaknesses became radiants, and he had the greatest weakness of all
  14. Go find some secluded woods somewhere and scream. I recommend it. You might create a rural legend and inspire stories around the campfire, but it might help. In all seriousness, I’m sorry. It’s good to have an outlet like writing, but I know it’s not fun to be under pressure like that. High expectations can be crushing, feeling like if you mess up one thing suddenly you’ve ruined everything. It’s not fun, and I hope things start to get better.
  15. Would you be a dragonrider or a misting with any power? Favorite subject in school? Life in nature or urban life?
  16. Including Steven…he’d come so far, and then he’d relapsed…the guilt began to well up inside of him, the result of countless vicious looks from party members. ”I’M SORRRY! I’LL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT BETTER!” he cried, immediately realizing his mistake.
  17. Someone needs to rename this the “youngins bully adults” thread.
  18. MY TODDLER TOOK MY TOOTHBRUSH! WHAT DO I DO A gorilla should take care of that
  19. Huh. Good luck with that!
  20. When do you start? I have until September.
