    Does anyone have any advice on how to get a hesitant sibling to read? My brother loved Mistborn era 1, but has resisted other books. I’ve been trying to get him to read more but he’s convinced that Mistborn was a fluke (also didn’t want to try Mistborn as a western in era 2) and doesn’t want the commitment. But I know he’ll love the cosmere if he gives it a shot. Anyone have any tips or cool ways of pitching any Sanderson books?

    Silhouette began to notice the metal slide heating up as he continued his descent. It has to have been more than half an hour by now, he thought. He gasped as he noticed the end of the slide- it was covered by a pillar of fire

    Silhouette was enjoying life sliding down the slide until he was knocked over and hit his head on the side of the slide. "Wizard?" he shouted in confusion. "Be more careful! And wait for me at the bottom!"

    Silhouette strained his ears, but he couldn't hear a reply. Storms. Looks like he was on his own. He watched the darkness carefully as he slid. It seemed to be almost...pulsing. He'd have to ask the others about it.

    Silhouette was a couple minutes behind, but he quickly followed Calano down the slide. "HELLOOOOOOOOOO" he called. "CALANOOOO? CAN YOU HEAAAR ME? OR ARE YOU TOO FAR AHEAD?" he asked.

    It makes sense to create the game around the Shards we know the best. Other thoughts: Shards must have a perpendicularity that the Person cards may travel through At the opening, Shards can pick planets to occupy, but Ruin/Preservation can create a planet together that boosts their stats but limits their magic actions I like the idea that magic systems increase the power of the Player cards...maybe also each turn the player card spends "training" with the magic system on the home planet, the more powerful they become? So it's more of a strategy to figure out when to attack other planets Maybe we can also add Shardic splinters...? @HOID WANTS INSTANT NOODLES
