The Last Post Wins!!!!!
NerdyAarakocra replied to Vargo Seldon's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
But what if the thread stages a coup? -
"Well, I try," said Il'anque. She rested on the crystal formation and looked up. The next segment - their final challenge - would be rough. Overhangs, roofs, and few good holds. "I think that my skills aren't going to cut it for this next part. We might need some magic."

NerdyAarakocra replied to NerdyAarakocra's topic in Creator's Corner
Thank you for the feedback! I'll keep it in mind. I'm hoping to write this with a serious tone, and hopefully the next Canil chapter should accomplish that.- 13 replies

nerdy writes stuff Heroes of Home Peak (The book)
NerdyAarakocra replied to NerdyAarakocra's topic in Creator's Corner
The next installment is up! Here, I introduce the main characters, start inserting fragments of an ancient prophecy, and hint at the fun steampunky magic stuff that will probably come sometime in the fall! I also abandoned the writing style that I used to write the prologue, because it doesn't really work for the actual main book. Don't worry, there are still going to be weird self-referential interludes. As always, feedback is appreciated! Summoning people who were interested: @The Bookwyrm @Witless of Shinovar @Gregorio and @Channelknight Fadran because it's shard law that high fantasy is within Fadran's domain.- 13 replies

Certified Gay Disasters

*Hands ornate box* This is the gender that I left behind when I became nonbinary. I have been filling this box ever since I grew my hair out as a way of nonconformity. It is now full. Use it sparingly, and with great respect. AS SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN EAVESDROPPING ON YOUR PLOT I think that Hyako is better. I also think that you should create a poll with no context and have the entire shard vote on it. Because that would be funny. *Cosmere THAT IS STORMING AMAZING. SEND ME THE LINK TO THAT WoB NOW. -

The Battle for the Sandwich
NerdyAarakocra replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Its mystical powers were granted by me, as I am somehow still the shard of randomness. As payment for this newfound power, the platypus agrees to serve me and give me the sandwich.- 13683 replies

Make your own fanmade Metallic Arts Metals
NerdyAarakocra replied to The Titan God's topic in Mistborn
Thank you! JSYK, you're not supposed to post in the same topic twice in a row in a short period of time. Instead, you can use the 'edit' button that appears at the bottom of your posts. It's not a huge deal, but some people get upset about it. Also, I like your metal suggestion! It's really well thought out. -
Yes. If you were stuck in a garbage disposal, unable to get out but also unable to die, would you be happy?

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. -
Incorrect! In fact, bats are an illusion designed by the United Mammal Conspiracy to make us spend money on violent comic books! WAKE UP, SHEEPSHRIMPLE! The line above was completely unnecessary.
