The Battle for the Sandwich
The Bookwyrm replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
You can eat it, but the battle for the sandwich will continue. It's tantalizing scent and legendary flavoring call out to you still, even as you eat your tasty - but far less superior - sandwich.- 13683 replies

Fortunately, Unfortunately
The Bookwyrm replied to SymphonianBookworm's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Fortunately, all those people had been evil. -
I just finished a book (that I mentioned here earlier) called The First Binding, written by R.R.Virdi. It just came out this year. It was really good, and I highly recommend it for anyone hungry for a new epic fantasy world to explore. Like seriously. Read this book. (Also, in the Acknowledgements section, it says among the many thank yous: "To Brandon Sanderson, for listening to me talk about this project, and bouncing things back and forth with me." So it's basically Sanderson endorsed.)

No, but my younger brother has. He still has that giant frog... TPBM has met Sharders in real life. -
THE ALIENS ARE COMING! At some point in the future. BUT THEY'RE STILL COMING! Ummmmmmmmmmmmm IT WAS HIM! *points and jumps out the window when everyone is distracted*

Welcome (officially) to the Shard! I have seen your art, and it's incredible. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! I'll admit, I am interested to see what art you make after you read other Cosmere novels, like Mistborn and Warbreaker. They're definitely worth the read, and I can't wait to hear what you think of them!

Welcome to the Shard! FlowerGirl stole my question. Regardless, we're glad to have you! If you want to know more about the Cosmere, have you looked at the Coppermind? There's a link at the top of this site, and it leads to a wiki filled with all the information we currently have on the Cosmere. If you've already done that, then great!

Long Game 90: Undiluted Powers
The Bookwyrm replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hm.... Based on the same flimsy evidence that I voted for Xino on, and a gut feeling that I can't really explain, I'm going to vote Cinnamon. And, like you all saw above with my Xino vote, this may be subject to change in the future.- 788 replies

Yeah, I am. ....This is a fair point. Gah, this gets confusing sometimes. Xino I know I'm retracting a vote I just made, but I need to think about this a little more...- 788 replies

Long Game 90: Undiluted Powers
The Bookwyrm replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Because the main reasoning for the e!Xino theory is based on their actions in previous games, I don't really have enough evidence to make a conclusion. However, what I do have is the fact that one of the three people who was on the Xino train at the end of D1 was Ashbringer, who we now know was a villager. And Xino was one of the people who voted for Ashbringer, who, as I just said, was a villager. It's not much to go on, but I think it's enough that I could reasonably argue that they're an elim. (EDIT: I just re-read this paragraph and I realized that it barely made any sense. Believe me: It makes a lot more sense in my head. For this same reason, I think that Cinnamon and Silhouette could be elim, but I'm going to wait a little bit before I change my vote to one of them.) It could also be that I'm grasping at straws and finding evidence where there isn't any. This is my only piece of evidence against Xino; in their actions, they seem to be fairly neutral. This vote has a possibility to change in the future. Xino- 788 replies

Long Game 90: Undiluted Powers
The Bookwyrm replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well. That was unexpected. Kas analyses were helpful, and I am sad to see them gone. I am going to do a lot more waiting before I vote this time around. See how things play out a little more. I don't want to be hasty, and I think I can work on gathering information based on people's actions a little more. Expect a vote in the future, though. *** Rylim was met by another messenger soon after he awoke. Apparently, an inn (located outside of House Libran's jurisdiction, luckily) had been burned to the ground. Not only that, but a Skaa who had been one of the main investigators in this whole scenario had died in the fire. His name had been Koren. Rylim had been keeping an eye and ear out for him: despite being a Skaa, he had been well known among his peers, and despite being well known as a drunkard, he had seemed to have a mind for this sort of situation. Rylim had to admit that what his spies overheard from the man had been valuable. He was sorry to see him gone. There was also a strange message burned into the wall of the inn, which Rylim was still trying to figure out. As the problems in Tyrian Falls had continued, several major players had arisen. Some noble, others skaa. Rylim assumed that the spiked were among these people. He just couldn't figure out which ones yet. He'd have to watch very closely in the coming days... ***- 788 replies
