  1. Well, here we go.

Last Ookla season before my mission.

I hope my real username doesn't get stolen.

Yeah, I know, but it's still vulnerable during the season.

  2. Um...good? I think? Hello!
  3. Avatar frowned. Now that won't do. He pulled a manifestation of the Plotblade into the mindscape and drove it forward, towards the core of the anger. I will not become you, he thought. And you will not become me. We will both become Us. Through the connection formed by the Plotblade of Unity, he poured a sense of understanding, a shared sense of wrath. But also a condition. I will not deny you the fruits of your anger. But you will not have my power if you try consume me.
  4. There was a whole plotline involving a shard of the Plotblade of Unity that I honestly remember very little of...so yes, probably, but I also don't have enough background knowledge for that to be significant.
  5. Happily, he thought. Let us have your vengeance. I will help us, if you will help me afterwards.
  6. Not Franklin and Definitely Not Franklin often got into shenanigans together.
  7. Just an update: I think the current plan is to leave this on hiatus until about December 2nd. Keep brainstorming ideas and put any you have on the planning doc, this thread, or the PM. If anyone else really wants to join, we should be able to fit you into the team.
  8. He grew his mental presence, letting them in, engulfing them. He drew on the power of the Plotblade and began absorbing them into himself. *** Meanwhile, Rym wondered whether or not it was a bad idea to knock on the door of the plot.
  9. ...Wait, you made that your cover photo?

I thought it was ironic, since it was the same time as I stole Glass’ name.

    Happy birthday!

      It is indeed! Thank you.

  12. "...I'd probably put in narrative safeguards. Make it physically impossible for it to happen. Of course, if another Narrator decided to infringe upon that, action would have to be taken...but everyone Narrator here - that I know of - is respectable enough not to start murdering people." He paused. "I hope."
  13. Bookwyrm paused for a moment. "I'm not sure. I've never run an event like this. I'd need some time to plan, I guess. Assuming I wanted to do something more nuanced than handwaving it with Narration."
  14. Bookwyrm blinked. "Whatever works, huh?" Avatar let them drag him into the sand.
  15. "Well, sort of. Sometimes a page only takes a few minutes. You know? It's weird. You need a Narrator's perspective to see it, sometimes." "Huh. I guess that's one way to deal with it. ... By the way, did you invite Butt Venture?"
  16. Bookwyrm took the tea. "Nothing much, really," he said, taking a sip. "Like...literally. Sometimes being a Narrator is weird." Avatar laughed wryly. "I might just do that," he said. "Perhaps not in the way you're thinking, though."
  17. "I've been looking for you for a while, now," Avatar called, his voice echoing across the landscape. "This blasted sword won't work for me as I need it too. Imagine my surprise to find, even split in half as it is, it was beforehand sundered even further ..." "Well, of course. Narration is how our kind create anything, right? It's still a praiseworthy work, regardless."
  18. "...Distracted, as of late. I guess you could say." He looked around. "Nice place. A man wearing all black and carrying a sword colored an unnatural grey appeared amongst the blowing sands.
  19. Bookwyrm smiled. I guess I spoke too soon. He pressed the Stamp.
  20. He sat and thought some more. ...Is it worth getting involved again? It usually ends up moving on without me, anyway. There was always Avatar to deal with. He still had the Echo of the Plotblade of Unity. And after his semi-successful scuffle with Nin's Master... Though...in time...who knows what happened to him or his plans? It was hard, sometimes.
