    Well I think when you have unkeyed Dor like that it bypasses most of the conventional catches. I don't think we should take this instance as the typical usage of its magic system.

    I'm not sure the Terris prophecies are Scadrial specific but might actually be a more cosmere constant thing. Given that the contents of them has been tweaked over time there is some wiggle room. But they could also be seen as applying to Dalinar, Vasher, possibly others.

    Same catch as Sandmastery actually. Dehydration. Given that Aethers use spores and sandmasters are actually controlling microorganisms living in the sand that absorb Investiture I wonder if they are the same type of life.

    And for a possible cosmere constant, sandmastery also drains water and is actually reliant on a plant-based organism similar to the Aether's pollen. I also wonder if these are related to the mold in Elantris that metabolize Investiture to give off light.

    I think this might be the reason I like MB Era 2 more than MB Era 1. The length and pacing matches the plot better than Era 1 barring TFE. I feel WoA and HoA needed to be Stormlight levels of length to do their plots justice.

    But wouldn't Sazed's own experiments also have that Intent and as a Shard shouldn't he recognize that as being the missing aspect from the Set's experiments?

    Brandon has now said Sunlit Man takes place around SotD, putting it a couple centuries after SA.

    I think that Autonomy might have also influenced this system. I see similarities in the how investiture is delivered here with how it done on Taldain, ie solar based. This system could have been a prototype that was later refined in Taldain. Maybe after Ambition’s clash with Odium and fled here Autonomy found them and finished the job.
