  1. We'll hopefully get Dragonsteel eventually, which will follow Hoid and probably deal a little with the other shards. I have no idea, I haven't read Dragonsteel Prime.
  2. The first two seem to contradict themselves, but it appears I was right in assuming there would be spiritweb implications with the hema-mancy compounding(new word of my own coining), though Brandon is still vague about it. Also, the last WoB doesn't actually tell us about any strange effects the hema-chemy compounding would have, but I am excited that he RAFO'd the feru-hema-mancy compounding. Now for more speculation. This first part involves more general cosmere knowlege, so be warned of warbreaker spoilers below I won't speculate any more on the spiritweb disaster of burning a spike, but as for the triple combination, well: PS I figured out how to utilize spoilers, so now I will do so.
  3. 5/10 because I know nothing about that book, so I can't rate it poorly, but It's also not Brandon so I can't rate it well without more info. Have fun with mine
  4. This may already be answered in part or fully, but I'm still gonna post it. Part 1: Allomancy and Hemalurgy. What would happen if someone who could burn one of the metals took a spike of that metal, stabbed someone who had the power(s) that spike would steal, then swallowed it? Take for instance steel, which steals physical Allomantic powers, stabbed into a mistborn. My thoughts are that doing this would push on your spiritweb, causing small changes. Perhaps your coinshot abilities are stronger and you have small ability, though not noticeable, in the other three arts. Your children would also have increased likelihood of gaining the four powers, though not as much as someone who actually holds the spike in their body. Part 2: Feruchemy and Hemalurgy. What happens if a ferring uses a spike as a metalmind? Is this even possible? Perhaps the hemalurgic investiture blocks the storing of attributes. If not, I suspect the two would not interfere in the physical, although I think the attribute stored in the metalmind would get corrupted and using it would damage your spiritweb more. Part 3: All the metallic arts. I'm going to wait to do this until I get feedback on Parts 1 and 2.
  5. What in particular was he not happy about? Brandon served a church mission in South Korea, and he says he feels a bond for the people there(yes, I know Japan is not Korea, but I think a lot of the terrible stuff they deal with from white people is the same regardless of where they came from) so I'd think that Brandon would not even consider putting in anything offensive. Also, I believe that Brandon would go back and get rid of anything that is derogatorily stereotypical, if it gets pointed out to him, he knows that kind of thing is bad.
  6. Wheel of Time Crossover: The Knights of (the) Ways
  7. Some of these are very likely, others, like the one about honor, seem very far fetched to me. I think it would be cool to see your reasoning though.
  8. No it's not, but parents are protective, and the point of the bolded words was to emphasize a certain something shady going on with the cookies. And I ruined my perfect 16 posts to edit this. Those cookies be trying to steal my mojo.
  9. That may be likely, since wisdom implies great understanding of the best decisions, therefore she did what was wise for her people or the Cosmere at large. Although I don't see how helping Odium does that.
  10. Even I know to avoid the cookies (literally) of Ruin. It is like when you went and collected Halloween candy and your parents made sure to check it in case someone put a nail in it
  11. What leads you to believe this? Are you referring to Hoid's use of Rosharan knowledge and names? If so, keep in mind that he also references Scadrial, Sel, and probably more.
  12. It is stated in text that the disguise is a form of Rosharan Lightweaving.
  13. Love this idea, but physics. I think it would put extreme strain on both halves, and that would mean only a shard could do it. Maybe that is how virtuosity splintered.
  14. Isolation or Aloofness, we need another "evil" shard, and both fit the survival idea.
  15. The spirits tell Yumi that there is one person who can free them, and then she switches immediately with Painter who has the ability to do stuff with the nightmares. I think it is safe to say this(your theory) is the case, though Brandon may do what he is most famous for, so we still need to keep this at theory level for now.
  16. Yumi was put into office because of an "omen", and we don't know how painter earned his position. I think this goes against your second point, Oltux, but I may be misinterpreting things.
  17. Whimsy's been confirmed as a shard? Can someone share the WoB for that? Edit: I need to reread RoW.
  18. All of the star charts for planets we've visited are released, so unless they retcon things, It will be somewhere we have yet to see(in published canon)
  19. White sand has been published(albeit in a different form than his original I assume)
  20. I think Brandon will do what he does best, plot twist. I think it unlikely to be The Silence Divine, especially since I heard somewhere that they have to map 3 new stars into the Cosmere Here is the WOB:
  21. General Kenobi Sorry, couldn't resist. Welcome fellow newcomer.
  22. I lied, it was Steelheart. It was given to me as a book I should read. I enjoyed it, but never was able to get the next one, so I forgot about it. Years later, Mistborn was suggested to me and the Cosmere as a whole, so I looked Sanderson up and started reading his first Cosmere book. That is why I put Elantris. I then read every Cosmere book he wrote, the rest of Reckoners and some of his other short stories in half a year, Leading me to now.
  23. Hemalurgey is the metallic art of the Ruin shard. His reference to Allomantic power should be to Hemalurgic power though. It would be possible to add a footnote, though I'm not sure how to do that.
