  1. Ivy frowned, stroking their chin thoughtfully. “Can you conjure items into existence, or can you only summon objects that already exist? I ask, because I’m thinking of employing your services. You see, I once was able to summon things too! Quite easily, much like a Narrator.” Their expression grew dark. “That ability has been taken from me. Precisely when I should need it too.” Sequence glanced at Unintelligible, turning back to the bunny with a frown. “… Alright, it’s worth a shot. I’ll give you one turnip now, and in exchange, you’ll take me and my friend to meet your friends! I’ll bring plenty of turnips for everybody. We’ll have a picnic!” Sequence exclaimed, holding up the turnip enticingly. “Deal?”
  2. “What kind of objects?” Ivy asked curiously. “What is the limit on what can be summoned?” Black mist crept up the trees around them, and it began to burn away the leaves until the branches were dead and empty, the canopy gone to make way for a harsh white sun, high up in the sky.
  3. Sequence frowned, looking at Unintelligible. “No leader… Uhhh.. Hm.” She thought for a moment. “Friends? Family?” She asked, a turnip appearing in her hand as she sat down cross-legged in front of the cage. The figure bowed. “… Ivy. Ivy is my name, I believe.” Able rolled their eyes at that, and Ivy sniffed, standing up straight once more. Two armchairs coalesced from black mist, and Ivy sat in one, waving to the other. “Please, sit. I understand you are gifted in the ability to conjure items?”
  4. Sequence jumped, stumbling backwards a bit before catching herself by leaning on her cane. She looked at the Witherabbit with wide eyes, then looked to Unintelligible. “Did you hear that?” She asked, regaining her composure and leaning close to the cage again. She cleared her throat. “If you take me to your leader, I will give you… A carrot. I grow them myself in my very own garden!” Aelinor leaned down and whispered something into Sequence’s ear. Sequence paused. “… I will give you a turnip! Grown from my own garden! It seems we’re out of carrots.”
  5. Able shrugged. “No idea.” Before Ryver had a chance to object, Able flipped a coin. It hit the ground, and with a rather loud screeching sound, a rift opened beneath their feet, and both Able and Ryver suddenly found themselves standing in a forest. It was rather dark, the trees blocking most of the meager sunlight. There was a wide dirt path snaking through the trees. And there was another figure down the path. They walked closer. They wore a sharp black suit, with short, spiky black hair and bone-white skin. They smiled, revealing sharp, animal-like teeth. “Welcome, Ryver. I hope the journey wasn’t too alarming?”
  6. “Oh, of course! Please, come back any time! You’re always welcome here!” She smiled, waving to Ryver as he left. Able stood on the other side of the deck, leaning against the balcony and looking out over the lake. They smiled as Ryver approached. “Ready to leave?”
  7. Sequence—or, one of her apparitions—was seated in a rocking chair, staring off into space somewhat blankly. She seemed to snap back to awareness as Ryver approached, blinking a few times before smiling. "Hello, Ryver!"
  8. You are also faster than me! Fortunately, I am hiding behind a rock in your path, and I leap from cover as you pass and tackle you to the ground! There's a comedic cloud of dust and onomatopoeia as we grapple, but in a startling turn of events, it was all a distraction! The real me snatches up the dropped Sandwich as you grapple with my clone, and I saunter away happily, whistling to myself.
  9. "How dare how dare how dare how now dare how now brown cow how dare." -Thaidakar the Ghostblood No matter how many times I read this sentence, it never gets any more coherent...
  10. The figure bowed respectfully. "I am Able. And I suppose I am just a good listener." They stood up and dusted off their cloak. "I would like to present you with an offer! Your skills are... Of interest. Please, when you are finished here at this party, find me. I will be here, and I will take you elsewhere, where we can discuss."
  11. OHH yes yes, I remember now... Ryver, wherever he was, was approached by a figure. Relatively unassuming, dressed in a flowing cloak with short golden hair. They smiled and offered their hand in greeting. "Hello, Ryver. That is your name, isn't it?"
  12. Lovely... Who's the character in question again? Where are they?
  13. Ah, but back in my day(?) we did it anyways .
  14. Oh dear, you look absolutely dreadful! Like... Like you tumbled down a flight of stairs made from thumbtacks and fell into a concrete mixer filled with acid! Oh, absolutely. We'll need at least that many, if not more!
  15. Is coming to this thread and saying nothing but *wins* still frowned upon yet tolerated around here?
  16. Random feature I just became aware of:

I didn't know you could view guest activity! That's kind of fun :P.

... Why are SO MANY of them viewing the Last Post Wins?? Like, multiple of the other pages look exactly like this...

    1. Through the Living Wrath

      Through the Living Wrath

it could honestly be a bug with the infrastructure

      like

if a user keeps a tab open, and then opens another tab w/out closing the first one, it loads the user as having been on a different section of the forums, but it might not actually be clearing them from the previous section - since they are loaded somewhere else, though, it might be unable to identify them. So even if they close out, it'll have trouble clearing it.

      Anyways, thats my uneducated guesstimation.

  17. A couple days late.. I apologize!

Happy late birthday, though! You are missed, and I send wishes of good fortune and happiness to you, wherever you may be! :D

  18. Hmmmmm… I think I’m having ideas… Though fair warning: They involve your magic boy meeting somebody quite evil
  19. That's also how I interpreted it, but honestly reading about Singers humming to rhythms always confuses me... I have a hard time imagining how that would look, or how these rhythms would sound. Would it just be a simple, repetitive few notes? Like maybe a measure or two long? Or would they be more like entire songs? Hrm. I suppose I am just a mere human .
  20. "My elbow hurts..." -Sun Tzu, The Art of War.
  21. Oh dear, that could be so many people... Maybe me, Haly, Hawks, Glass, Nameless, Xino, Dragonheir... I don't particularly know how to check how many posts people have in an individual thread, so these are just guesses, but yeah . Official guess is Nameless!
  22. She held his gaze, smiling too... Then she looked away as well, clearing her throat and twirling her hair around one finger idly. She glanced around for Moni to give her a scowl. "Oh! .. Y-Yes, of course... Wait, does it speak?" She knelt down and peered into the cage, waving over Aelinor who stood nearby.
  23. I was here . Welcome back!
  24. Sequence leaned down and peered into the cage with a frown. "Perhaps... But, my wound was inflicted by... Everyone's power, and that isn't exactly chaotic-dark. It's... probably worth a shot, though." She looked back up at Unintelligible, a bit of hope in her eyes. "Thank you, again..."
