Why do I always get struck with inspiration to write at times that I can’t.
It’s rather annoying.
Instead I have to do an entire semester’s worth of essays.

Literally the fastest hiring process EVER.
Last night, my mom said “Hey, I noticed Papa Murphy’s is hiring, you should apply online.”
And now, less than 24 hours later, I’ve applied, had an interview, filled out my paperwork, and now I’m hired and start on Friday. Kinda insane.

SpoilerI've been writing the Iconar Collective a lot recently as school kicked back in and holy scud am I starting to get somewhere! I'm currently writing a scene that I've been waiting to write for weeks; then after that, I can write a scene that I've been planning for months. And then, after that, I'll finally get to write a scene that I've been planning for years!
And then after that I only have one more act to write and badabing badaboom I'll have myself a novel.

Warning: LDS-related SU, might be confusing for non-members. =P
Just went to a friend’s mission call opening and there were SO MANY PEOPLE. It was kinda awesome, all packed into his backyard. I joked with some other friends that there was no way he could actually name every person there. And there was an interstake activity earlier tonight, so a ton of people were at the activity and the opening. Was fun to see so many people twice in one night XDif you’re curious, he’s going to Columbia.

Just remembered something that I was gonna make an SU about and then forgot
About a week ago I fell asleep on my couch after school. Nice little nap. Kinda ended up in a weird position, was leaning on my arm weird. Some amount of time later, I woke up, and attempted to stand up. I couldn’t. It was really weird. Keep in mind, I’m still like, 80% asleep here. So I was just like “.....wasssistsss???” and kept trying to stand up. I could move, but not stand. Eventually I got more fully awake, (I say “eventually” because it felt like a long time, but in reality it was probably just a few seconds) and realized it was because I couldn’t move my arm. I had been trying to push myself up into a sitting position with my arm, and it had felt like it was happening, but then obviously it wasn’t. I managed to do a weird sit-up thing to get into a more normal position, but I still couldn’t move my arm. It was the weirdest experience. Mildly scary too. Maybe 40 seconds later it was like nothing had happened. Arm was completely fine. I never lost feeling in my arm, but I couldn’t move it. It was so weird.

You’re exhausted after a long day. You can’t wait to just get in your bed and sleep. You start to get ready for bed by taking a shower. As you are in the shower, you feel comfortable and safe. A warm shower is a physical representation of the deepest parts of your comfort zone. You are in your most vulnerable state, in the most private location. Everything is calm, peaceful, and quiet.
Then, movement out of the corner of your eye. You turn and are instantly paralyzed in fear. Right there on the shower curtain, exactly at eye level, mere INCHES from your face, is a creature so horrible that it must’ve been intentionally created by some malicious being, for nature would never allow such a monstrosity to come into existence. A monstrosity with sharp, segmented legs, huge pincers of death, and a long, curved, wicked tail, raised to strike at its victim. And it’s running right at you.
You jump out of the shower as fast as possible to get away from the scorpion.
