  1. I was thinking you have a few Radiants fighting the fused and they infuse something while fighting with a R lashing then the arrows are directed toward that spot
  2. Why can’t the compounder just grapple? What’s the seer going to do, every time he gets close the Compounder would just grab him in a chokehold and the Compounder can leave himself open to attack while the Seer can’t
  3. What’s the practicality of using so much Stormlight per brick. How large can each Boulder be? Is it worth the time to lose a Windrunner that could have been on the ground at that time?
  4. Which would then cause Amaram to summon his Shardblade and fight back Sadeas was begging at that time for an excuse to go to war if Dalinar fought one of his Vassal under no legal athourity he would all out go to war no questions ask He would also take half of Alethkar with him This is Dalinar after the Nightwatcher: This is a culture that would not stand a women in charge. I know they did it with jasnah but that was an exception not the rule. The town needed traditional leadership
  5. I assume they could just crack the Gemstone and that would release BAM I think that since BAM basically filled a space in the Parsh spiritweb and when she was captured something was ripped out and that’s why the Parshmen happened there is a WoB on it
  6. Uncommon 4th ideal Radiants were not that uncommon sorry must have gotten cut out. Why would it make a difference. We know Skybreakers with Nales moral code can become 5th oath ( Nale himself) So I don’t see why that would make a difference
  7. Nitpick: Well Taravangian would be a CS as he ascended
  8. Well from a narrative perspective that makes a lot of sense But in-world it seems to be that 5th oath is very rare ( Nale is the only 5th oath skybreaker) and we see from Feverstone Keep that 4th oath is not
  9. As Aristotle sayed “Any extreme should be avoided go to the Golden Meen” ( obviously paraphrased)
  10. Honestly yes it’s a welcome surprise though ( Although I do think I did the first bageling like 3weeks ago) TPBM Has never been out of their state
  11. It’s spoilers for other series spoilers
  12. How exactly to you go to one of the most powerful person in the world and say “give me your shards” he will say no that’s the facts you can’t take away the shards it’s impossible He still was a drunk he still remembered abusing his children but he grew past that and became better If Amaram had worked on himself and become better yes I would enjoy his character That is the purpose of growth The stem of the argument seems to be ‘did Dalinar grow’ Yes agreed but acting against him which would destabilize an entire town there were just more important things to do And Moash I do understand his motivation
  13. Just saw this work (a few years to late I know) But greatness never dies.) thanks for putting a post on this Listener This was probably on Par with a SA books definitely better than most of the books I read Great Job!! I am a bit confused what happened to MOM was she a CS?A spren?as shard? Was she the storm? I guess I’ll never know
  14. I stand and corrected, thanks
  15. I felt a little let down by satarsight it felt to simple and kiddy We knew exactly who the good guys and bad guys were with only a few wildcards Tge entire plot is a pretty obviously fabricated one that amounts to nothing. And her big revelation is that not all aliens are bad and not all humans are good. I could have told you that at the beginning of the book I feel like Brandon was rushed to meet a deadline and just didn’t deliver his normal quality stuff
  16. Well we know Hemelurgy is extremely complicated/complex and the LR with 1000 could not create a third type. So it’s not that surprising that the kandra don’t really understand themselves.
  17. No sadly I’ve never been to Israel although I’ve heard that it is a sight to see there TPBM Doesn’t post on any RPs
  18. Also to add to that Roshone was a little justified in what he did Lirin did steal the spheres and lie to him and he probably was also a little angry at what happened to his son Roshone has the right to be angry for this for this and he struck the only way he could. While horrible, Lirin did bring it on himself by stealing the spheres and acting so cold toward Roshones son Also there’s no way Roshone could have known Tein would die, he could have been trying to take tien away for a few years to make ‘lirin sweat’ and when he died he just didn’t care that much because he’s a privileged lighteyes
  19. You mean they teach ivrit in yours That’s more than mine
  20. The main difference of opinion is that this would have been impossible if it was an option he would have done it How is it moral to do something that will very likely start a civil war and if you don’t most likely will end up with Amaram prosecuted. No offense but you are being extremely short sighted with his honor. he has a lot more things to consider than one factor. As I tried to say before no one is completely of Honor (Like Aristotle said an extreme in every form is bad) in comparison to everyone else he is very heavy on the honor side of things. So the law does take into play here and ramifications But that doesn’t make him less honorable ( or at least he is proportionaly more honorable then a lot of people) He wasn’t reforged he was melted down. He became a blank slate and then and went, through great pain assumingly and reforged himself from the ashes. That took strength and is growth. What do you mean by this? We all also hate who Dalinar was before. But we’re looking at the endgame here, where each of them ended up though growth you could say. whether through Shardic intervention or not an honorable man is an honorable man Hindsight is 2020 but at that time the most ‘honorable’ thing to do (with all the added factors of timing and law) was to let him walk away
  21. I understand its 5 years prior, but my point is simply this, the honourable thing to do would be to make Amaram face repercussions for his actions, to achieve this honourable end, he should of made him break the bond to his shardblade, legality aside, it is the honourable path, and as i said, if choosing honour means breaking the law then so be it, you can't say well i didnt do the honourable thing cos id of crossed that line there so i didnt bother. It’s not that he won’t it’s that he can’t And it’s not honorable to just break the law and go after someone no matter the consequences it’s stupid He reforged himself what happens with cultivation allows him to go either way he is nuetral in the conflict (but he still has an addiction And he grows past that and he grows What else would it be? Well I mean this is a discussion and it’s about getting different view points and I’m fine with it. At that point the Honorable thing was not to chase him down It was to deal with a more important problem and deal with Amaram later And there was absolutely no way that Dalinar could have even slightly known even a little bit that he would turn to Odium
  22. Well than what are his special talents doing I agree 100% it could be only healing accept for that line
