Well, I figured I'd update my profile picture with a much, much more recent drawing of my Cosmere avatar.

Maybe at some point. I haven't decided too much for him at this time other than the fact that he's Scadrian, isn't a Metalborn, is a total Metallic Arts nerd, and loves his hoodie with ancient Terris style markings.

Why me?
Today has been very very very bad for one reason- 17th shard.
Like, today I had a pretty normal day, besides having to do some stuff at lunch and living in fear this morning. So, if it was just that, then why was my day so bad? 17th shard.
Now, the question why is it so bad? Because I nearly made another member quit the shard, nearly got into a heated arguement with someone over pms and got kicked from 17s via cloudflare.
I really really am not liking the shard as of late. Like, that whole thing above there? That has happened many times.
The 17th Shard has been causing me (and others affected by me) to have a worse day
So what's going on?
I really hate to say these words, but it has to happen. In fact, you already know what it is
I'm leaving.

I should probably mention this, but I am extremely sad that I never got to play a game of SE. I am very sad to let go of strohger. I am even more sad to let go of Cognition and Desolation. They are my favorite moments in this 17s community. I am sad, but yet I feel as though I should feel something more profound. It's shallow emotions. I hate myself for not feeling the right way about this. I hate myself for not feeling. I just do. But yet, what am I supposed to feel? Remorse? Regret? Pain? Acceptance? this is what hurts me the most. I feel as though this is already such a great community that I'm simply just not a good enough person to be in it. But I know I should belong here, but I just don't. And it frickin sucks. so goodbye for now, I guess.
After I do some stuff. I have to apologize to many people, and if you're one of them, expect a PM (or pm me if you want an apology) soon.

I do apologize for not being on the shard that much as of late. It’s been a busy few weeks for me, and I haven’t mustered the mental motivation to shift back into Sanderson mode, even with Yumi coming out.
However I will say this: I’m a full feruchemist!!!! Woooo! Mayhaps when I get the inspiration, I can get into how absolutely overpowered a full feruchemist can really be, perhaps even with a feruchemy tier list too.

Interesting. It has been stated by Brandon that some "fossil" of your Spiritweb would still exist even after you died (I'll have to find that one again), so with the right knowledge it might be possible to take Yolish Investiture from Leras's and Ati's bodies, but that assumes that a corpse could have enough of the original's Investiture to be spiked, and that their bodies were still intact enough to be spiked at all.
Personally, I think that Hoid might be a better option if you wanted to find someone with Yolish magic in order to Hemalurgically spike. At the very least, he has access to a Yolish variant of Lightweaving, even if it doesn't seem to function very well for some reason.
I don't know if the Heralds are aware of Hemalurgy or if they ever were considered extensive Worldhoppers (with the exception of them traveling between Roshar, Ashyn, and Braize of course) because they are too Connected to the Rosharan system to leave and explore other worlds. However, I am willing to bet that Taln's enormous strength came from Ishar performing some kind of experiment on him, adding to his innate strength, using similar(ish) principles to Hemalurgy.

Yes, I have read Rhythm of War and am up to date on pretty much all of Sanderson's Cosmere works, and I would love to hear what you have to say on Hemalurgy and other topics

You mean the number of posts I send out? Honestly, I just really enjoy Brandon's Cosmere, and I like to think about all the interesting ways to use what we already know in it for new purposes. Hence the reason I post so much; my brain has a spigot loose that frequently sends torrential waterfalls of ideas, though I haven't been having quite as many recently. (If you're not asking about the number of posts I make...I clearly have no idea what you're talking about, sorry
)
