    Sooooooo, I volunteer at my local library's book sale, and today I got quite lucky.

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I FOUND A PRISTINE HARD-COVER COPY OF THE WAY OF KINGS (and Towers of Midnight too, but tWoK is more important)! Just a bit of yellowing on the edge of the pages and a little wrinkle thing that goes around the cover (which I can't remember what it's called)!

    So naturally I bought it and would have gladly payed ten times as much for it (it cost 1 USD).

    I'd been thinking about reading Steelheart whenever I saw it on the local library for a few year, but I always found something else to read. Then Skyward came out and I was like, "It's Sci-fi, I'm going to read it," and I have been a Sanderfan ever since.

      Nice! I've taken it seven or so times and gotten Truthwatcher most of them, so it depends on the day. Windrunner and Bondsmith have always been close too . . .

      Yeah, no problem. I tended towards Truthwatcher the first few times I took it, but then I started getting Edgedancer with Truthwatcher right behind it.

      You could also rock Ookla the Stormy depending on how true-to-convention you want to be :P

      It’s this super weird tradition we have on the Shard where starting on Peter’s birthday (November 26) until Brandon’s birthday (December 19), lots of people rename themselves to “Ookla the ____” And if you want to confuse people even more, you change your pfp too. :P Here’s last year’s thread about it (for some reason there’s not one this year).

    In last night's livestream, SuperCarlinBrothers were talking about how they were reading the Kingkiller Chronicles and how they thought Rothfuss had the best built world they'd ever read, but a few Sanderfans (not me, I wasn't signed in) watching the stream started saying that SCB should really read Brandon's books. So now SCB might be starting to cover Cosmere and Skyward soon ( in the next year or so if they can find time)! SuperCarlinBrothers, for those of you who don't know, are a Youtube channel that makes theories about books and movies, such as Harry Potter, Marvel, AtLA and Star Wars. They're a really good channel, clean, funny and they make genuinely interesting content. Probably the channel I'm most likely to recommend to anyone as nerdy as I am (and let's face, most of you fall into that category), other than Brandon's own channel.
