  1. Just something cool I noticed. In the Two Seasons broadsheet, it says something about the citizens feeling the effect of explosions building an “underground railway.” I think this is just supposed to be a tie in to the fact that they were convincing people underneath the city if Bilming that the Ashmounts were back, I think they were actually just causing the occasional explosion to add to the effect of the hoax. Just figured that was pretty cool, nothing else there.
  2. We totally got to see a crap ton of Worldhoppers just chilling on Scadrial out of nowhere. Not gonna lie I got my copy last night in the mail and stayed up late to read the entire thing, the entire time my brain was just screaming!
  3. Haven’t even listened yet, but I love this series thank you guys so much for doing this. Edit: @Overlord Jebus has a different connotation here, doesn’t it?
  4. I think the last Shard could be the Survival Shard, with its Intent being something similar to Caution. I would like to think of it as being a sort of the inverse of Whimsy, with Whimsy being, “I take all sorts of risks without thinking, I just do whatever the heck I want,” and Caution being, “I need to think about this, I need to make sure I keep myself alive.”
  5. Me and my Dnd friends went and saw it. The week before we were talking about how she always cocks her head and stuff before a fight, so we were all laughing when that actually came up.
  6. So with the genetic stuff, I think Venli’s orange hair is a regular genetic expression. It is just a certain gene that codes for orange. There also appears to be some Parshendi where there is co-dominance, where both traits are expressed separately, but simultaneously. This is opposed to incomplete dominance, where the trait expressed is a combination of the two traits (eg, red and white flowers mix, children are pink.) This also seems to be what is happening with Adolin and Renarin’s hair as well.
  7. Shardcast a day early! Woohoo!
  8. Just why. When I showed my friends this, they all cringed.
  9. These books keep screwing me over! I keep calling pigeons chickens in biology class!

  10. It can be from the same person because they could have added more gems afterwards. I don’t know how Naze-daughter-Kuzudo could have warned of side effects without some kind of future sight. None of the spren, not even the Sibling, knew what would happen, otherwise the Sibling would have told Melishi what would happen.
  11. So, in Oathbringer, we learn about how Naze-daughter-Kezudo warned Melishi about possible side effects of imprisoning Ba-Ado-Mishram. How could she have known about this? Simple explanation: In the gemstone archive, there is a small emerald in the drawer about Ba-Ado-Mishram. It says this: I think that was Naze-daughter-Kezudo, and that she became an Enlightened Truthwatcher all the way back then.
  12. @Chaos congrats, man! Hope you guys have a great honeymoon!
  13. Even if our perception of Moash changed in Oathbringer, another issue I have is that Moash murdered Elhokar while he was carrying his own child. Right in front of him! Edit: My thoughts on Moash haven’t changed much, but I now know the mistakes you can make when commenting before finishing the video
  14. I agree. But there is still a possibility.
  15. It’s a battle to the death, not to the killing . If Dalinar refuses to kill it, when he eventually dies of old age, it will be complete.
  16. A leecher does not steal Investiture, they like, remove it from objects or people. You might be able to remove them or temporarily make them ineffective, but they wouldn't steal them.
  17. Hello there! I would probably go with superhuman physical abilities. And maybe some future sight on there as well. As far as cosmere magics go, I would be a Stoneward.
  18. I think that you could steal someone’s Breath with nicrosil hemalurgy. Simple as that. I think that’s the kind of thing we’re looking at.
  19. I think the adoda glyph is in itself a reference to Adonalsium, so...
  20. Honor isn’t just following laws and codes, it’s also moral codes. There is a big similarity to Devotion in Honor, I think. In Honor, you do things that you swear to do, but you also do things that are morally right to you.
  21. I don’t think you can kill/hurt a Shard with it’s anti-investiture. It’s still the Shard’s investiture, just in a different form. Even though it’s called anti-investiture, Anti-Stormlight isn’t the opposite of Honor, it’s the opposite of Stormlight. Those are separate things. Edit: To support this, the Raysium dagger used to draw the anti void light in to Raboniels daughter doesn’t explode when touched by anti void light
  22. Jasnah doesn’t have a problem right now with genocide because 1. They’re in the middle of war 2. The singers are “resources” for the fused. Outside of Desolations, the singers are just innocent people who want their lives to be peaceful. They didn’t like the Fused much, as the listeners talk about hating their gods. So I’m between, they are just innocents.
