Okay, so a creature I have thought up off. BTW, I don't have a name for the creature yet and will take any and all suggestions. If I have enough, I might even make a poll. But back to the creature. So, imagine a squid. Now imagine a squid with three tentacles. Now imagine the squid has an eyeball between each tentacle, having three in total. Now imagine the squid's mantle aka main body/part is a bulbous sack, perfectly round. This creature floats by sucking air into its sack and heating it up, enough to lift it off the ground (It does not have to carry its full weight, as the tentacles will be holding onto things like branches. Also, this lives on land/air). When it starts losing gas, the sack shrinks and it starts to sink before sucking more air back in. WIth me so far? Okay, so the animal is a grayish-blue color, and slightly glows at night. It sucks the blood out of people and animals to survive, using what looks like spider-like fangs where the beak would be. The way it does this is that it slowly lets one of its tentacles move toward its target, latch onto it, and then pull itself onto the animal with its fairly strong grip, and it moves fast. It will inject a paralytic, though if a person doesn't struggle it will let them be. they then suck the blood out of the victim, which, assuming they're starving, will be enough to maybe leave a person dazed and dizzy but not dead. It may end up killing a dog or something of that size. Other facts: It will normally keep it's tentacles grabbing onto some branches and looking below it, and aren't too difficult to spot in an earth environment. It can regenerate their tentacles if need be. They are immune to their own paralytic and know how much is needed to keep its victim at bay. They excrete out of their mouths/fangs. So, what do you think?

Okay. I am paranoid because I do not trust you after you faked a Duke for most of the game. I Highly suspect you have a captain right now rather than an ammbasodor and are just lying to try and get a Duke, because Captain is currently useless, making Duke and Assassin the cards to want. And you can't lie about having an assassin in the endgame, so you can only fake duke. -

Thank you for sharing your story (I thought this thread would be dead before it began) Thank you for your concern, and sorry to here about the struggle your husband has to go through because of quarantine. You made good suggestions, and I personally agree that making sure he is doing something that he likes will help keep him from getting depressed. He's lucky to have someone like you to be concerned about him and take care of him. I'm sure there are people who don't have that luxury. Send him my regards, and I wish you the best of luck getting through this winter. -

I suspect your lying about your an ambassador so you can keep trying for Duke or Captain, but seeing as I have one card and you could also just choose Ambassoder again, I'm not challenging that. @Ookla The Female Chicken Your up. Also, I just want to mention, this game is intense right now, I actually have no idea who is going to win, it can go either way, depends on everyone's play. -
You know, it's funny when BS, in one of his lectures, says a problem with 'gardeners', aka the revise a hundred times thing, and you just stare at how accurately he described you. Like it's that common a problem. And the funnier part is me subbing these out kinda don't help the problem, as I try to revise the chapters a few more times before and after sending.

Eh, I did not get a post apolocyze feel this. Granted, I read the comment and I don't read very many post A books, but this felt more old time period than the modern or future period set back. There were no remnants of another world that they are unfamiliar with or no longer had access to, which a lot of post A tend to have, and the fact there's a village and supposedly a community always deters me from that. And pills, while seemingly advanced and I can see how that might move you toward that (there's a comment above confirming they could make them, though now I'm questioning the effectiveness pills back then would have. hmm.), I don't feel that's enough to go there. Not trying to say you're wrong or anything, your point is still valid in the fact she has to world build more and make it more clear where and when she is, just felt that what you extrapolated isn't something most readers would conclude from what we got and her world-building isn't that screwed.

man referring to the gender of a person is singular, man is referring to the species/group of humans aka mankind, so it's not technically plural as there is only one mankind. -

No, it's man and men. two man would be incorrect grammar. two men would be correct. -

I honestly thought about hemalurgy being more of a thing, like you can sign yourself up to be spiked like you can sign to have your cornea's put on the market, and so they would have specific compounding people for health. Though on that topic, can you imagine how medical technology would advance with goldminds? They could perform medical procedures on people without too much worry of permanently damaging them because they can just tap health and heal, letting them makes leaps and bounds ahead of us in medical tech.

Yeah, what luck one of the most widespread religions had to be an anti-gay one. Did not know the China one. Fascinating. If only they still were as open-minded. Fascinating. Glad to see you know what're your doing. Certainly gives me confidence that you don't add something without consideration. I'm still going to question everything I'm not sure off, though it will mostly me being curious rather than me thinking you made a mistake. I plan on doing my own fantasy soon and any information I can find will be useful.

I do not consider 'cringe' derogatory in any degree, it is something used to describe writing that does not feel right or a reaction to that writing. I gave examples of it when I went through specifics, pointing out the big ones. As for usefulness, I was giving my thoughts on what I had just read, so technically it could be considered useful as my first thoughts and reaction to something can't be wrong and can only provide her with information for her to use. So you are being needlessly picky on a pretty light word.
