  1. Dunno if there's actually been a casting call yet. I doubt they'd come stateside, but if they did, I'd jump at the chance.
  2. In one way I agree, but at the same time, I think a TV series is a lot more promising for both quality and quantity. So after thinking it over, I'm not as disappointed as I thought I'd be.
  3. In a Polish interview, Flanagan said it was scheduled to have begun production but was halted (mwhahahaha) because of the whole, y'know, COVID situation. He also said that producers were pessimistic about movie theaters coming back anytime soon, and so they're making it into a TV show instead of a movie. Sadly, that's about all I've found. Just me, approximately 400 Poles, and now y'all, seem to have noticed.
  4. Anyone else see that the movie is now going to be a TV series (when/if it ever starts production)?
  5. They aren't, but for that reason, I won't trade.
  6. The Burning Bridge, methinks. (Close though )
  7. Because, for me at least, hee hee is not the sound I make when I chuckle. Hehe is.
  8. It's a chuckle vs a full laugh. At least I think. That's I how use it.
  9. I remember we were talking about Harry Potter on here a few months ago (I think it was here, anyway). Just reviving that convo to say that I just finished watching the last two movies, and they are an immeasurable improvement on the previous ones.
  10. Oops. Not sure how I read it as Sunderland. But Wimbledon is even more niche, which makes it even better.
  11. Well, I would assume he's not British, and since Sunderland isn't in the Premier League, it's gonna be real hard to catch their games without spending a bunch of money. Which isn't worth it if you only support a team ironically *beats chest in Hull City supporter*
  12. Ah, but surely if you were a fan of a team, you would have some desire to watch them, if only ironically (a la AFC Sunderland - me, I prefer Hull City).
  13. Vanilla sprite? Kinda sounds like a contradiction in terms.
  14. Yo... I just realized where y'all get all your rep from.
  15. Interestingly, the Warrior cat books are written by multiple authors. "Erin Hunter" is a collective pseudonym for Victoria Holmes, Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Inbali Iserles, Tui T. Sutherland, Kasey Widhalm, and Rosie Best.
  16. Don't know if this is the right place to ask: I'm considering joining the Alleyverse, do I post my character sheet here or PM it to one of the mods? Thanks!
  17. I didn't know one could run out of upvotes. What's the limit?
  18. "Alethkar natives other than the Shin have the epicanthic fold, but the Alethi wouldn’t look strictly Asian to you–they’d look like a race that you can’t define, as we don’t have them on earth. I use half-Asian/half-arab or half-asian/half-Polynesian models as my guide some of the time, but Alethi are going to have a tanner skin than some of those." - Brandon Sanderson. Actually, this is what he's said, but I digress. It's all imaginary anyway - both Brandon's descriptions and my admittedly somewhat textually unfaithful casting.
